A brace of Ex- LNER Gresley J39's inaugurate the new Gauge '3' Society Essex Group portable layout

Saturday, 29th February was the AGM of the Gauge '3'Society, at Flitwick, near Bedford. The Essex Group of the Society had the first outing of their 60 feet by 26 feet mainline layout. The layout is portable, weatherproof, and suitable for both live-steam and battery operated locomotives.
The day was cold and windy; sadly at the time of filming, there was no sign of any live-steam activity!
The layout is sponsored by Cliff Barker, and manufacturer of Gauge 1 and Gauge 3 track, points, and track components.
