- Here I am trying out a 2000 Toyota Corolla VE, which this particular one has over 375,000 km on the odometer with the original engine! A testament to Toyota's reliability. It has a 5 speed manual transmission with a custom shift knob, and has air conditioning which I am told is a rare combination (manual & A/C). I also wanted to test out this new camera angle which I like a lot. I did it by using the Go Pro headband mount around the passenger seat head rest and some zip ties to further secure it.
Nice drive
a nice St Charles cruise
@KRBISSONNETTE 375,000 km? That girl is just getting broken in! I’ve seen them with original engine & tranny running great with twice this mileage. That may be lots for an American or Korean car, but for a Japanese car, it’s only average. Did you end up buying it?
No it belonged to a friend of mine who lent it to me for a few days while work was getting done to my car. He ended up selling it eventually.
@@KRBISSONNETTE not selling it because it was broken just selling it because?
@@Blakecryderman7244 he sold it for something different, just because.
Have you ever experienced any issues with this car? I want to buy an older manual Toyota Corolla, and I realize they have a reputation for reliability, but how true is this at a higher mileage?
+Pheer777 This wasn't my car, it belonged to my friend who lent it to me while he was working on my dad's car. This car had almost 400000 km on the odometer and it ran like brand new, even the A/C still worked! It's honestly one of the best economy cars you can buy, nothing breaks and the clutch and transmission feel better than the Echo of the same year. Makes for a perfect daily driver.
Can you please make another Corolla video in driver side
whats that sound? I have the same sound , like a broken glasses
?
It was from vibrations, it gets amplified because of the kind of case the camera is in.
that motor is vvti????
Not sure but I don't think so.
oh ok tanks!!
yes it is! :)
