    You sold me Tryp. Dev's should give you a tip as I am sure I'm not the only one who bought it after this vid.

      Considering the amount of views I got on my TRYP videos across the channel and possible many people purchased TRYP, they should give me a huge bonus 😅. I hope TRYP will go well for you. Keep me updated!

    I have both. But I'm still struggling and looking for the right settings in Tryp. Flies so edgy. My config in Uncrashed comes closer to my daily driver copter, Nazgul. Tryp has the potential, even there is a Nazgul template. Actually my list regarding physics is: 1. Velocidrone, 2. Uncrashed, 3. DCL, 4. Tryp, 5. DRL, 6. AI Sim. Hope to find/get help to improve Tryp.

    Great video man! Actually got started on DRL and Tryp FPV, while using a PS5 controller (first real radio is on the way). This was... not optimal, but I've been able to fly some lines and get a general feel for how drones feel in acro mode in these sims. Got me interested enough to invest in a Radiomaster Boxer so I can get some more serious practice in. Really hope that TrypFPV gets that 'big summer patch' that hasn't launched yet or gets that release 1.0 version they've posted about.... but so far the devs have been eerily quiet.

      The biggest update I'm looking for is to optimize their resource allocation and make TRYP run smoothly, as even if you meet the system requirements, sometimes works so badly, even on higher-end computers. I love Uncrashed FPV though!

      @@LovelyscapeFPV Heya! Good one on mentioning Uncrashed - I haven't tried that one yet but it looks great. Tryp is absolutely heavy as hell and I can imagine many people who would just like to sim on a 'regular' laptop will walk away disappointed. It can look stunning, but that engine... woof... will give uncrashed a try too, curious to see what it's like :) I did finally get an actual radio (RM Boxer) and that makes a world of difference compared to gamepads, thankfully!

      @@KindOldRaven trust me, uncrashed is worth it a lot. It's extremely well-optimized, and it's simply very natural to practice in.
      A while back I was super excited and saw the huge potential in TRYP FPV. But that was it.

    Great video thank you! As a slightly new person to drones, I will still go probably for Tryp. Since eventually when I get better I can tweak things as needed. I saw the video with the Tryp developer and they seem very dedicated to making a great game with great physics and lots of though in the actual dynamics of drones.
    But at the end of the day, both are well priced and maybe just have to get both and try them out : )

    • @LovelyscapeFPV

      Really good choice! That’s an option I wasn’t thinking about - why not both, because as you said, they’re reasonably priced.
      But yes, you’ll get a lot more from TRYP. I’m still far from understanding everything TRYP has to offer in terms of customization.

      @@LovelyscapeFPV indeed. If you look at new games for consoles these days, they are like $70. Thats why I was so surprised some of these sims are like $10 to $15. I mean you really just get 3 or 4 of these sims at the cost of just one new game and have fun trying trying them all out : )

    Hey there. Great video. I'm not sure if it's just me or someone else is experiencing the same thing as I am. I am totally new to drones and I mean NEW and I have spent nearly 6 hours on the Liftoff sim without anything to show for. I know that 6 hours is nothing, but after spending so much time, I can't even fly on the straight line, I can't keep an altitude. Once again, is it me or anyone else has experienced the same thing? I was wondering if you could make a series of step by step educational videos on "Uncrashed" simulator for a total beginner like me to teach how to use sticks to fly a drone on the straight line or making a turn and so on. I'm also wondering if there are specific settings to make the learning process simpler at the beginning. Thanks in advance.

    • @LovelyscapeFPV
      @LovelyscapeFPV  3 місяці тому +1

      Hey Philk. That's totally not only you. This is how most people who want to get into FPV gave up before the fun begins. The beginnings are the most difficult. It did took me a couple of hours to just be able to control the drone, and the point is, there is no step-by-step guide on how to learn this.
      Now I was planning for a while and time was not by my side, but soon I am actually planning to release a series of educational videos on how to get started on flying an FPV drone, from the very basic to flying in a straight line, maintaining altitude, speed, etc., to explain everything step-by-step. Keep an eye out for it, that was my plan all along though.
      And that's the sad part that most people who are teaching FPV they get straight to the more complex solutions.

    • @LovelyscapeFPV
      @LovelyscapeFPV  8 місяців тому +1

      Hi. As far as I'm aware, the Tango 2 SHOULD BE compatible with most FPV simulators, including Uncrashed and TRYP FPV. It's an excellent RC; I was looking forward to get one as my main RC on CF or ELRS (or both with a module).
      How good it is?

  • @kratzeni
    @kratzeni 9 місяців тому +3

    I like both Physics models. But Tryp has too high gravity I feel like. You can easily see it when going inside that one house, which is a landmark on the map. There you will have good reference for height. Fly at a height of about 2 meters, turn the Quad 90° to side, so that the min throttle doesnt act against gravity and let the quad fall from this height. You will see that the drop happens too fast.
    Now to my knowlege there is no slider to adjust gravity yet. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
    When it comes to Uncrashed it has a little too low grav, but atleast you can correct it in the settings.

    • @LovelyscapeFPV
      @LovelyscapeFPV  9 місяців тому

      You are very right. That’s one downside I have noticed as well with TRYP. The alternative I guess is reducing the quad weight a bit, that should help in countering the extra gravity.

    • @kratzeni
      @kratzeni 9 місяців тому +1

      @@LovelyscapeFPV Lowering the quad weight would only come into effect with long dives, as you would only increase the effect of Air drag with that. At the same time you would lose the feel of inertia by reducing the weight. I find it super weird that they would put so much work into the physics and actual PID implementation, and than mess it up with the gravity value.
      I must say though, that wen setting the gravity value for uncrashed to a very high value to compare with tryp, tryp does indeed feel better.
      But when setting gravity correctly, I find uncrashed physics more realistic atm.
      Edit: Upon further thought, your suggestion does indeed work, but only when keeping the quad in leveled position, as the effect of min throttle is increased when having lower weight, which then can counteract gravity. Yet this will no longer work, when having the quad tilted

    • @LovelyscapeFPV
      @LovelyscapeFPV  9 місяців тому

      @ni They must do something about it. I know when they released the first version of TRYP Update in December, it was a bug where if you crash, your drone will spin 50 times a second lol. That was so annoying that I even tend to sometimes forget the increased gravity.
      While they solved a bit the issue and reduced the spinning amount, they haven't focused as much in adjusting the gravity. But I'm pretty sure they will as it will be simply dumb for that much work to be ruined by some wrong values which could be changed at any time - or better - to add to the game the option where we can adjust the gravity like with Uncrashed.

    • @LovelyscapeFPV
      @LovelyscapeFPV  7 місяців тому +1

      Hi! Sorry for late response.
      I did not get the Avata 2 personally as I awaited for general feedback. Almost everyone have issues with Avata 2 from the drone losing control and signal to bad crash resistance and destabilising like the Avata 1 when turning aggressively.
      I follow all the topics with Avata 2 and only problems I’ve seen others had.
      My recommendation is to hold for now into buying the Avata 2 until more bugs and issues are being fixed by DJI.
      At this time, I feel is more stable and trustworthy the first version of Avata
