- ELVIS singing HURT from the last concert run ever 1977 what a great vocal this is. We should be allowed to see more by EPE from this last run of concerts as ELVIS's voice was Magnificent it makes no difference to the true ELVIS fan regarding his appearance it is truly the Man and his voice.
Elvis had a voice that sounded like it came straight from heaven, no matter what song he sang.

I like how when Vernon comes up on stage you can hear Elvis softly say “Hey dad.” And a smile comes over his face as if every issue he has goes away for 4 seconds. I truly think that if Elvis had taken a break from preforming he may still be here. Then again he would’ve have stopped doing the one thing that may have kept him alive for as long as he was. Idk. I wish he was here but we got him for 42 amazing years. And I’m ok with that until I meet him in heaven one day
He was older and in terrible shape. He needed to take time off from the meds the poor diet and start exercising

So sad! 42 years old and gone is very unusual. I do believe if he had gotten help, or the love of his life Priscilla had come back, he would have been able to deal with his medical problem's the way he should have.
He really loved his daddy. His face was really lit up when Vernon got up on stage. Clearly there was a great father-son relationship there.

Elvis's voice was a musical instrument of its own. His voice was extraordinary and it never altered. Not once. Elvis poured his heart and soul into his music and always tried his best to please his fans. He kept the audience on the edge of their seats as no other Entertainer has ever done. Elvis was simply the best entertainer of all time.
And alot of seats were left wet after his shows
Yes oh yes he was the Best performer..singer & a very loving person & a giving person also..But There were some..close to him that took his loving and generous heart for granted and abused it too !!

I was there with my mother. 1977 I was 9 years old. I remember pretty much every minute. I love Elvis. A big part of the beautiful part of my childhood especially when my daddy sings so beautifully like Elvis did. 😥

@Michael Lennon You are correct Michael. There is a lot of racism to this day and it was more than sickening during the 'banning his pelvis' on television era.
It was only a few nights ago I saw footage, for the _first_ _time_ , from the late 50's or 60's, don't remember which. I couldn't believe what was going on and it was a white man putting Elvis _down_ , (so to speak), for having black background vocalists.
I knew about racism of course, but I never knew the sick individuals, racist biggots ,that Elvis had to endure. He loved all people.
And yes. Elvis was a rare and phenomenal talent.
My brother and I listen to his Gospel Blue Christmas, every Christmas holiday and of course his gospel music.
He's the only singer that I have ever heard that radiates through my soul and it is beautiful music and his singing, one can _actually_ _feel_ .

This was his last concert and I was there! I love Elvis ❤️ and they kill him never gave him a break He is the BEST There never ever be another one like him He Was Great!!!!!

@@leonolanofficial4581 Vocal chords age with the rest of your body and he did have all that EXCESS weight on his chest (lungs) but at it's 'core' his voice didn't change, your right about that. And it's more like Elvis *failed* his body. He got most of that excess weight from the drugs not eating. He would have been still VERY active (he was a 'hyper' dude anyway) and I don't he would have had much extra weight (like Vernon) if he hadn't been taking all of those drugs. To me to love Elvis (or anyone) is to be honest about them, unconditional love can do that without faltering...
I ment in the documentarys they say his voice was failing but after the last hurt word of the song proved them wrong

Elvis was so ill, yet he got on the stage and performed for his fans, I wish that he had taken time out to get well, his fans would have waited for him to get well, we loved and still love him unconditionally, he will never be forgotten, he is too special for that to happen

Yes Elvis was ill, he had problems with his colon, he was always constipated, because of the pills he was on, which is a vicious circle, I am on strong pain relief, and I get the same thing, his medication made him bloated, my friend in America, her husband was on the same tablet that Elvis was, and her husband became bloated as well.
It makes no difference what pills Elvis was on, his fans love him for his music concerts and films, his incredible legacy, so we should concentrate on that, and nothing else

Elvis may have been ill but he did a great job on this song. Wish he hadn't have had such a payroll and people who he took care of so he could have taken time off for himself and got well. I am 53 and I remember the day he left. My mom had to leave work she was so upset and my mom NEVER missed work . Absolutely heartbreaking. He gave so much of himself and I think he left this world feeling so alone. So sad 😢
It is strange how so many people I talk to remember that day and where they were when he died. I remember exactly where I was and thought my high school Buddy was pulling my leg because he knew I liked Elvis. I was talking to an old girlfriend from high school on the phone haven’t seen her in 40 plus years. The subject came up and she said she remembered she was at Kings Island and who she was with at the time she heard the news. It was like the shock that went round the world. Hard to believe he had that much prestige and influence.
