If Shmee was told to only say positive things about the brand from here on... That would have been GM and the car would have been a Corvette. Because that fits 100%
Brilliant! I’ve watched Tim from the begging and I’ve always wanted someone to sit him down and ask these questions. Really great questions and editing of the answers etc.
Know what sucks? What sucks is when someone has 3 or 4 months to get his story straight...a story that is never going to change....straight. There is a complete set of rules and regulations regarding the sponsor stickers. There is no confusion, complexity, duplexity, or even triplicity. What does this mean? It means that Shmee is lying. He's lying about how he never got the stickers, he's lying about his cars going to a different city before the race and yada yada yada. The FULL sticker packs were provided to him. HE and HE only chose to put HIS OWN sticker over the sticker of one of his perceived UA-cam competition in the "Daily Car Video" segment. There can't be a mistake because every other sticker BUT DDE's sticker got in its place. The only difference? A Shmee150 sticker was provided for him in the place where the DDE sponsor sticker was provided, along with where it was to be positioned. The true story is so simple to prove that it's just stupid that he's STILL trying to lie. A full sticker pack is on his car, except for DDE, with Shmee150 taking up the DDE spot. It should be mentioned that DDE paid $500,000 for that sticker to be on his car versus the $30,000 grand Shmee paid to drive his car in the Gumball3000. $500,000 gets you a sticker on a car. $30,000 and your own sticker makes you a lying sack of crap because every other sticker was placed perfectly...other than the DDE one (that got replaced by a childish man who was upset that DDE was going to be on his car despite paying for that right). The sticker packs are provided to every driver. They contain ALL of the stickers and where they're supposed to be placed. It's months later and HE'S STILL TRYING TO LIE ABOUT IT! Cancel Culture? Thank GOD there is a cancel culture because what he did was pull a dbag move but WORSE he lied about it at the race. But WORSE of ALL? He hasn't stopped lying, he's still trying to make like what he did was a mistake when it so clearly was not and he's refusing to acknowledge that he screwed up (like 10 times now after all of the lying and cheating he's done. Just by the fact of his words in your video proves that he still hasn't learned his freeking lesson yet. Perhaps he NEEDS to be totally cancelled? Would he admit to lying and cheating nonstop for months then? Is there any way of him redeeming himself?? OH! Just so we provide facts when they are needed> From the Gumball site... *19. Tim is one of the most genuine and hardworking people I have ever met. Im glad to call him a friend and he always tries his hardest to make time for anyone, I have done plenty of meet and greets with him, this guy is a machine! Also the encyclopedic car knowledge he possesses is second to none. He is the real deal.
I think this talk with Ben has been a really good insight and understanding behind the DDE situation and great to hear Tim’s side and where Tim admits there was a misunderstanding on his side and there were things that DDE may have done wrong also which just proves people are human and not everything goes right but it’s how people deal with the situation after the fact is where you see the real person or people
I'm sorry, but during that year's Gumbal, Shmee purposely cut off DDE's car on every upload, and he uploads earlier than DDE. He keeps saying that everything blew up after the rally, but he was already showing subtle diss against DDE even before the rally started. DDE even announced they were sponsors of Gumball before the rally started so i don't see why he was confused about the sponsorship stickers
@@cvctiger i have already had Nico on and it was a lot of fun! I have spoken many times with James & DDE and would love to feature them both when the right time aligns 😃
That will be interesting to see if they take it up. Cause if the Tim documents his version from his perspective, and how they respond. For if they did script the event or if they didn't all the texts and emails in chronological order can be established. The confidence of one and the chasing of views on the order. It will never happen
I think Mat Armstrong is especially doing so well because he had an ordinary upbringing unlike Tim and Ben. Just doing reviews on super cars is so boring.
Did you watch the video or not? He literally said that he tried to talk to Damon throughout the rally but kept getting ignored, and they finally sat down together after the rally and Tim apologised smh
@@BALDEAGLEAIRFIELD Max's XJ220S was applied with the Gumball livery with the checkpoints name on April 2023 for the petrolhedonism underground event. in May 2023, an STO and 765LT having the livery being applied with full sponsorship decals in Tim's shop with DDE logo as well as Tim's GT Blackseries for Supercar Fest event, he posted the video on May 22nd. Max's XJ220S in the end also having the full sponsorship decal applied on Tim's shop after the petrolhedonism event. no to mention Team Skookum's 812 also having the decals applied on his shop with DDE logo. all of those cars collectively having the decals on his shop with DDE logo and Tim decided dont put it on mine.

That’s why all their videos are essentially click bait. They even had drama with Houston. Now every video is Damon’s diet and workout routine
I’d believe Tim over Damon and Dave anytime. The misunderstanding is understandable especially if nobody is responding. Damon and Dave are all about the drama because that’s what captures audiences. They are marketing geniuses. They did the same shit with Houston. They did the fake inspection stuff with their shop. They’ve had a falling out with Randy from savage garage. He had issues with Edmond. He had issues with the drift guy who’s was on his channel for awhile. Seems like a pretty obvious common denominator
I dont believe it for one minute, you know who really knows the truth is Max owner of Gumball, i have personally spoken with him on this subject, the only one that seemed to be "confused" was Tim, now Max will tell you 2 weeks prior too this event a lot of emails and and talks were made with the drivers,2 weeks prior too event all the drivers got a lot of information including sponsers and car decals with renderings of this including Merch, DDE was listed on all these so TIM KNEW, there is a lot more to this but want to keep this fairly short I can assure you Tim choose to do this on purpose, he has long standing Issues with James "Mr.Jww" relating to his dealership and other personal dealings, and James is a friend of DDE Damon, you can say in some ways Tim harboured some Jelousy, dont believe me you can ask Gumball "Max" yourshelves Tim is not as solid of a person as you guys will have you believe

bro amen, tim is not dumb. he knows people pay good money to get those stickers on the official livery. he knew they paid and still refused to put them on his cars out of spite
Good for Tim, for being honest,,,DDE has burned every collaboration they ever did with automotive you tubers, there has to be a reason, nobody collabs with them now
@@laserbeam1620 I agree, but ,the way Damon handled the whole thing was childish, and just for drama & click$,,DDE didn’t even have all the stickers on their car,but when you stop and think, this whole situation was because of a 4 inch sticker. All parties should have handled it better
Why would you even think about the dde stickers or question them at all. So before the rally you get the stickers and instantly question it because its dde. This dude is lyin
How is Schmee's relationship with JWW and MAX? They would know you better than DDE yet DDE appear to be actual friends considering James was even at Daves wedding.

Tim will only tell his side that will make him look better or not to be the bad guy! If you come from money Tim, you and opportunities are easier to find!
Shmee is just wrong. The only way he'll apologize is if he looses enough subscribers. It was classic jealousy. DDE came to Europe and make Shmee irrelevant in Gumball, in his own back yard. Shmee felt a certain kind of way about it. Before that point, ppl were screaming Shmee on Gumball Rallys. Instead of taking note, he chose to give into his jealousy and took off the stickers. If I paid north of six figures to sponsor Gumball, and you took of my logo off your car, I would snub you too, and deal with it after the rally like Damon did. Shmee is a meticulous guy. He can't expect us to believe that he didn't know. He is full of it. I stopped watching Shmee. I just can't support this kind of action from an individual, even if the content is good. That's just me. GenX don't play that ish, ask milly vinilly.
Shmee acting stupid mat armstrong merci join that rally late but he managed to put DDE logo before going to the grid. His acting stupid while everyone on the grid have a DDE logo in the car and he said his not aware 😂😂😂 SHMEE100 STUPID.
well said! same as you said shmeegles got very gelly big time, imagine doing that many car swaps in one rally and still getting outshined by one car must hurt, he was being petty on not putting the stickers at the first place, as I know him he is very meticulous and knows every detail, like are we going to believes that he does not know about DDE being a sponsor, like wtf shmee, and stop acting stupid you know better shmeegles!
@@cojhieagustin4501 Max, the head of the Gumballs car is stored in Shmee's garage, there is no way he didn't know. This was a classic rich boy snob move.
Is he jealous? Really? Look at DDE’s fanbase. It’s entirely comprised of children who are too young to drive. I don’t think they even have a single functional car either. Compare their garages. Tim has one of the best garages on UA-cam. DDE has a bunch of leased cars that don’t even run and occasionally get repossessed. The only people jealous of DDE are the children who watch them, any adult that isn’t delivering pizza for dominos would understand that they’re in debt up to their eyeballs.
TBH, I watch both DDE and Shmee150 as they both offer different content. I enjoy Tim's journalistic take on cars giving indepth view into the automotive world. DDE is more fast paced, chaos and production type entertainment. I wish they could one day resolve their issue but will continue to watch both👍
@@GamezGuru1That's why every other UA-camr that DD has worked with in the past has cut ties with them. They are d-bags who create drama out of nowhere to get clicks even at the expense of friendships
Schmee is a clown. He knew exactly what he was doing. He was simply embarrassed that he wasn’t willing to put up the money, and/or have the intelligence to recognize the brand marketing opportunity that being a sponsor of Gumball would provide. Damon beat him to the punch and like an entitled child, he threw a fit and wouldn’t put their brand on his car. Gumball doesnt make mistakes like putting random stickers in every single team’s livery pack. And I’m certain that if he was going around asking as much as he claims he was, everyone at Gumball knew DDE was an official sponsor. DDE has brought more attention to Gumball3000 than ever before. Schmee is a sore loser.
You believe the guys that fabricated a LIE about being removed from the old headquarters over a guy who isn’t here for Drama but to share the passion for cars is wild. If DDE were never called out about lying they would have never apologized for it. Man to man you have a problem with me, we can be civilized and talk about it and move on. That’s not what happened and a huge bridge was burnt on DDE’s end.

The fact that he’s still trying to act oblivious to the DDE sponsor on the cars is hilarious and blaming gumball staff is a cop out. Saying that DDE recorded that video to start drama is more than fair imo .. DDE paid thousands upon thousands of dollars to have their sponsor on the cars so they had every right to be pissed off.
There is alot more stuff behind the scenes about the DDE situation that if you were there or around both parties prior to and post incident, you’d understand Tim’s reaction. Damon literally falls out with everyone he befriends at some point. He has that kind of personality and it’s that personality that makes his content so popular and brings him millions of fans. I’m not calling Damon out or saying it’s his fault because he’s an “arse” because it’s just his personality and how he works. Tim isn’t about drama. He never has been and he never will be! DDE thrives off drama and their channel is based off it. Just two different personalities that clashed that’s all! People need to get over it and move on
Really enjoyable video guys. YT has skewed my concenration threshold to 15-20 mins over time. Was happy to sit down for 2hrs and invest in this one. Likewise, Ben's Misha interview earlier in the year. Both genuine talent and not sticker dramatics. ;) Thank you!
Tim is a genuine automotive journalist and car enthusiast who caters to a more adult audience. DDE is clickbait with outlandish/childish behavior that draws a far, far younger viewer. While they both are car content UA-camrs, their target audience are miles apart
I used to be a huge fan of smee. But after the gumball incident I looked up other's videos of him being rude and was overwhelmed by the number of evidence that he is pompous and feels like he is better than everyone else.
Never liked him, just like dozens of other 'influencers', constantly flexes his wealth and thinks he is more important than all of his minion followers.
I've met Tim a few times now and he's been absolutely fine. People forget that he's also a human being and wants space when out and about doing his own stuff or things that don't necessarily affect the channel. If you're angry at him that he didn't speak to you because he was busy doing videos, maybe think that's because he's working? He's doing what he's getting paid to do, and what he loves. And everyone saying he's wrong and could've put the stickers on, but then so could DDE with the two sponsors they didn't put on? Even Tim said that, they're in the wrong too then for not putting sponsor stickers on their cars. I wouldn't stick another youtubers stickers on my car if they weren't an official sponsor(dodgy sponsor if even gumball couldn't answer themselves) especially if that one youtuber is missing official stickers too. And also, you're all hating on Shmee but then will sit and listen to a 2 hour podcast with him.
this thing is, he listed the reason for not putting the stickers on as him not being a part of team dde so he didnt put them on. he absolutely knew what he did. its an official sticker pack from gumball. he knows that every sticker in there is a payed sponsor of gumball. and dde was supposed to be his boys so he had zero reason not to put the stickers on. especially after the rally started and he saw he was the only one without the stickers. he had a full support team and vehicles that could have quickly and easily put the stickers on at that point. if he thinks anyone with a brain is buying this BS story, hes in for a rude awakening
What's done is done. Harping to the past only sparks more drama. It's quite simple, Tim knew DDE stickers were on every car but still didn't have them on. He could have easily got some made at some point in the rally and stuck them on but he didn't. DDE is another team on the rally which was his competition.
Devils Advocate here - If you are given a "Sponsors Sticker Pack" and it contains the stickers for DDE, then why do you feel the need to question it? Clearly they are then a sponsor as their stickers are in your "sponsor sticker pack" - Did you only question it because they are a "competing" channel? It just seems very much backhanded, saying "I asked and they didn't know" - Doesn't seem to matter, it was in the official Gumball Sponsor Pack - You should have put it on the car regardless as I would imagine that part of the T's&C's of entering the Gumball is that you agree to have all sponsor stickers on your cars?
Fancy seeing you here in the comments, also I can really agree on that having the back doors open in the van to show what Tim has earned himself during his youtube career.
To this day, Tim is still one of my top 3 content creators on the entire platform. I've always liked how real and passionate he is, and I highly respect his work ethic. I've met him multiple times and very briefly driven multiple cars of his collection due to working at a place where he'd frequently visit, and had great conversations with him off camera.
I skipped to the 50 min mark to hear about the DDE situation, but I found myself restarting the whole video because I was enjoying the interview more than I thought I would.
You really need to improve your listening skill. Shmee and Damon already talked about it better than the stupid and degenerate hate. And the unbeatable part is he already apologized to them and its on the video on DDE's channel as well. Hate has no better path for this matter.
Good interview and good questions! I like Tim, respect him for what he has accomplished and think he's genuine. Don't care about the DDE thing....that's a small thing in a years long career, whoever was in the right or wrong...who cares in the long run? Again, great work Ben!
Ben- kudos to you for this long form video podcast. I thought you asked a number of thoughtful questions. As a result, I think I understand Tim Burton and Shmee 150 a lot better. I didn't realize how important it is to Tim to keep the Shmee150 persona separate from his personal life. At least for me, it was easy to form an opinion of Tim as this guy with a privileged upbringing, boarding school education who jets around the world with his supercars and considers himself a bit better than everyone. After Ben's pod, I realize he's an incredibly hard working guy. Every car movement, event participation, car purchase is supported by an analysis that the activity will pay for itself with YT revenue. He's feeling the responsibility now of having a staff that flies on his enterprise for their livelihoods. I could care less about the DDE sticker thing. Tim's explanation was too long winded and didn't clarify things much.
I've been watching this epic vid for a few days. I just watched the bit about Tim's birthday week and the F1 GTR. I get his view of what's next. I'd suggest using your experience, Tim, to compare our experience with most likely the most advanced recent car, as in the F1 GTR, with new models coming out. Looking at the evolution of supercars from the driver's experience. Only you would have that ability, Tim. As a result, I see you being responsible for providing clarity to the driver community, and your opinion is highly relevant. Those who genuinely appreciate and respect cars need your voice and opinion. I drove a Lamborghini Espada and a Mura back in the '70s. I then moved the Diablo in the 90's. I immediately noted the lineage and connection. I then drove the Adventador and didn't get the same feeling. Love your work.
I call BS - he knew exactly what he was doing. But now is living his decision - he’s not been on gumball since - also his relationship with JWW and Max has been ruined let alone with DDE. He’s a joke and lost all respect in the car world.
This was one of the most insightful podcasts of a person I’ve watched, I’ve watched Shmee150 for a decade but have had longish periods where I haven’t watched his videos. But hearing him speak rawly, and being ‘Tim’, makes me want to go watch more videos now.
I used to subscribe to Shmee, it wasn’t just this that ended my subscription. It was just the same content being pumped out consistently and just got boring. He was sent the official sticker pack for his cars, all of them would’ve contained DDE in there. He chose to remove the DDE logo and replace it with his logo where the DDE should’ve been. That’s not a “misunderstanding” it’s deliberate, no matter how you want to roll that turd of an excuse in glitter, it’s still a turd of an excuse. And then to try and turn it in to a positive to do a collaboration on the call out video because he knew how bad it looked. Everyone saw how he tried to back paddle. I lost respect for him as a content creator. If you’ve got something wrong just own it and be done. Unfortunately it was only ever going to go one way. What he should’ve done was left it where it was and added his logo on the car. This then wouldn’t have happened
Why was Shmee so upset about DDE having their logo on his "official sticker pack" bought for his vehicles? ( I do agree should have just added his logo along all of it) *Genuine question as I do not know their history together*
Who’s the big brand that doesn’t like negative comment? Good on you Tim for pointing this out and not letting that brand takeaway you from being honest.
Great video, everyone hating on things that have NOTHING to do with them! Lol Tim has always been friendly & informative as have DDE. Kindest regards, Richard U.K
I like the DDE guys content but as a personality I think they can be quite nauseating. Especially when they fake things and treat the audience like we are silly. Lately I havent gelled with tims CONTENT but I can tell he is a far better person than Damon
Any other video this long, I would have never watched. I started watching Shmee 150 with the Ford Mustang GT500 which I loved. Big thank you for introducing who Shmee 150 really is when where Tim came from. What an amazing life and the career is so much more for us car lovers getting an honest perspective of each of those cars. Would be an absolute honour to meet Tim and visit The Garage. Greetings from Cape Town
Fascinating, knew nothing about Tim/Shmee, only viewed a handful of videos and wasn't enamoured by his delivery or content, but must admit to changing my view on him. Congratulations Tim on achieving so much in a relatively short time, am intrigued where your journey takes you next.
@@RoadToSuccessOfficialPodcast thanks Ben, thought your interviewing style was excellent, allowed Tim to just run with it, will definitely be watching more of you and have subscribed, merry Christmas, have a good one!
I find it amusing, that people are claiming Shmee is still whining about it now. Shmee has never mentioned it since. This was an interview where Ben asked him the question, Shmee didn’t bring it up. Ben asked. An interviewer is there to ask these questions, as he should but let’s not suggest Shmee still has issues with it. He never put a video out, he left it, but if he’s asked the question then if he had said I don’t want to talk about it. Everyone would have jumped on that
big ol nothing burger tbh, you knew dde stickers were on every car because you had cars stored in your garage with dde stickers on aswell, when confronted you instantly went to say that you didnt want to put your competitors stickers on your car
I found this interview enlightening. Tim is certainly a businessman, he understands what makes things ticks. I will admit that I have not been a huge fan of him/is content but recently have found myself watching more of his video's. I completely agree with him over talking things over face to face rather than throw cheap comments through an edited series of video's.
Been watching shmee for years , that sticker story is complete bullshit , so you purposely took them out of the sticker pack , printed your own and then put them on ? But you didn’t know ? Okay buddy
@@StraightUpLazy23 And you believe that? Max's car was stickered up with DDE logo in Shmee's garage weeks before the rally. Max is the founder of Gumball and also friends with DDE. And Mr JWW who is family with Max is even better friends with DDE. There's no way that Gumball didn't know about DDE sponsoring the rally. It's pure BS.
I love the fact that Tim explains the complete non-issue of the DDE stickers: If no one can tell him directly that they're a sponsor of the rally then why should he put them on? And then Ben asks 3 more questions on the subject! Why is this such a big deal to people?
Fantastic interview, Tim was very honest yet dignified, he answered all the questions and didn’t skirt around the DDE incident, but also didn’t bad mouth them, you knew it upset him and he was very clear that it was unfair but also left it there. Genuine guy and good to see the real man behind Shmee. Obviously very intelligent and articulate and an astute business man, really enjoyed it and for a 2 hour plus video it didn’t feel long.
For someone like me who has been following gumball since before the creation of UA-cam, Tim did not have to explain his reasoning for not including the DDE stickers. Its weird that their stickers were included
Spot-on, you nailed it dead on the head...the level of Tim's precise numeracy (analytical memory) is absolutely amazing! To be honest, that's the ONLY reason I follow him. I find the amount of statistical accuracy, granular details passed off as "infotainment" simple to consume/effortless to understand...simply BRILLIANT! 💯💯👌
Actor's acting. You didn't want to put the sticker's on from the get go. Action's speak louder than words. Rumble bumble it means nothing we know you by your actions.you snubbed DDE because you thought you were better than them.
A very interesting video. Tim's content isn't for me, but I always enjoy hearing him walk about what he does. A very smart and knowledgeable guy, and has done very well for himself.
The question is: if he “had” to have the DDE stickers on his car before he signed up for the rally… would he have done the rally?… no way, and I would have understood… DDE is nothing compared to SHMEE. DDE is beyond the springer of auto UA-cam.. but, it has its place.
if anything....shmee seems to be one of the most humble and genuine car youtubers in the supercar/hypercar arena. while i partake in both dde and shmee...given the chance id sit down for a beer with shmee over the others.
Fair play and well handled in the first instance of the scenario. Top of the tree is a tough place to be. "Tough times never last but tough people do" always had time for Tim and had the same respect back at different events
Smee is lame , I find his videos to boring and voice to be annoying so I can’t support him because of that but then just to disrespect DDE is kinda weird. Bro started the beef and wants to be little girl about it
I really enjoyed this Podcast ... Been following Tim since the early years, because that's the only way you can see an exotic car out in the wild back then, and its humble to see how someone with a similar background as I in education (maths/physics ... love for analytics) as evolved into what Smee150 is today. As for Ben, I've been following for over a year now and keep up the good work!
Thanks for creating this platform Ben. Thanks for doing this interview Tim. I'll keep my option on the controversy to myself. I'm just another dude in Antigua 🇦🇬 who loves ❤ cars
I’ve never understood why people side with DDE over most of the controversy’s. I’m not a hater by any means and I think their content is interesting but it’s not uncommon for DDE to create drama for clicks. It happened with Mondi multiple times for very hypocritical reasons. He had beef with royalty exotics multiple times. A bunch of shops he’s worked with he’s had issues. And Shmee I don’t think had any ill intentions with his sticker decisions. It’s odd how DDE or more specifically Damon has issues with all these shops, people, and companies and everyone takes there side instantly and not taking a step back and realizing how common of a theme it is for them to have issues with people.
I am so frusted when he didnt follow gumbal this year.my asean county all know who shmee .DDE is more interactive & car channel in my county so proud DDE come.so maybe is time for shmee to do this
Garrett is the owner of The car he explained he got to the bank late and the payment didn't make it in time shmee is liar an no one hired an actor to get evicted from a building it was the f12 and the lease on the f12 and that was Dave get your stories straight shmee
I have been working as a pro videographer for big supercar businesses for a few years now. Most car influencers I meet are not the people I would want to spend Saturday Nights with. I never met shmee personally but every car dealer, every enthusiast on the streets, literally everyone I have spoken to so far who has met this guys tells me how nice genuine and down to earth he is. I dont know DDE either but if his community does not care about the wisdom that is beeing shared here and only "listens" to this podcast because they want to insult shmee, I dont want to ever meet him anyways. This is exactly the attention seeking crap that I hate about car youtubers.

If Shmee was told to only say positive things about the brand from here on... That would have been GM and the car would have been a Corvette. Because that fits 100%
Timothy was consumed with jealousy and envy for DDE's continuing growth and success...That's why he did what he did...Fact!
OH! Just so we provide facts when they are needed>

Notice that there is no "put your sticker in the place of a youtube channel competitor who paid $500,000 to help pay for the extra expenses of the race YOU went in. A youtube channel competitor that by HIS sponsoring, helped pay for YOU to be able to only pay $30,000.

Real G. Thanks!
Hero. That’s all we are here for.
what is DDE?
Tim is one of the most genuine and hardworking people I have ever met. Im glad to call him a friend and he always tries his hardest to make time for anyone, I have done plenty of meet and greets with him, this guy is a machine!
Also the encyclopedic car knowledge he possesses is second to none. He is the real deal.
Speaking of the the real deal, keep up all the great work!
That’s cool and all but he was still wrong about DDE situation
@tavarish you know both of them. Could you mediate a reconciliation between these guys?
I think this talk with Ben has been a really good insight and understanding behind the DDE situation and great to hear Tim’s side and where Tim admits there was a misunderstanding on his side and there were things that DDE may have done wrong also which just proves people are human and not everything goes right but it’s how people deal with the situation after the fact is where you see the real person or people
Tim was stunned DDE were sponsors.
I'm sorry, but during that year's Gumbal, Shmee purposely cut off DDE's car on every upload, and he uploads earlier than DDE. He keeps saying that everything blew up after the rally, but he was already showing subtle diss against DDE even before the rally started. DDE even announced they were sponsors of Gumball before the rally started so i don't see why he was confused about the sponsorship stickers
ahahah im waiting to see if he goes on the next GumBall as he says xD DDE black listed him from the rally xD

That will be interesting to see if they take it up. Cause if the Tim documents his version from his perspective, and how they respond.
For if they did script the event or if they didn't all the texts and emails in chronological order can be established.
The confidence of one and the chasing of views on the order.
It will never happen

I’d believe Tim over Damon and Dave anytime. The misunderstanding is understandable especially if nobody is responding. Damon and Dave are all about the drama because that’s what captures audiences. They are marketing geniuses. They did the same shit with Houston. They did the fake inspection stuff with their shop. They’ve had a falling out with Randy from savage garage. 😮🤔 but i like all shmeemobile & respect DDE as brave drive in asian map with no care what the hell lambo got trouble. Attitude with buddy is gold to believe🥱
And yet clearly Max himself has no issues with Tim seeing as he stored his million-pound XJ220S at Tim's place for long after this all happened.
@@RomeoKiloLimaWasTaken He needed a safe place for his car, and I have no doubt Tim charged him a pretty penny to store the car, and he probably told Tim he has to show his car in the videos and promote Gumball, it's business and that takes priority over friendships.

Damon beat him to the punch and like an entitled child, he threw a fit and
wouldn’t put their brand on his car.
Gumball doesnt make mistakes like putting random stickers in every single team’s livery pack. And I’m certain that if he was going around asking as much as he claims he was, everyone at Gumball knew DDE was an official sponsor. DDE has brought more attention to Gumball3000 than ever before.

DDE is clickbait with outlandish/childish behavior that draws a far, far younger viewer.
While they both are car content UA-camrs, their target audience are miles apart
I used to be a huge fan of smee. But after the gumball incident I looked up other's videos of him being rude and was overwhelmed by the number of evidence that he is pompous and feels like he is better than everyone else.

Couldn’t agree more! Hi guys it’s schmee along with selling a stuffed animal is enough to make you boak! He’s a loser
Sticker was in the pack for a reason, whether you knew or not it shouldn’t have mattered.
All on you my guy !
The odd part is, what did gumball say about the removal of a sponsor?
DDE discussion starts at 50 minutes ✔️
Nice touch opening the backdoors of the Podcast Van - the view of the Shmuseum is unmatched 👌🏼

Great interview Ben. You have to admire Tim Burton. Clever guy.
( I do agree should have just added his logo along all of it)
*Genuine question as I do not know their history together*
@ I think he tries to explain his reasons in the video. However like I mentioned it’s still a turd of an excuse.
Who’s the big brand that doesn’t like negative comment? Good on you Tim for pointing this out and not letting that brand takeaway you from being honest.
Glad to see the real side of Shmee, he comes across very clear and sincere, much better than his usual auto videos. Well done Shmee and Ben. 👍
Great video, everyone hating on things that have NOTHING to do with them! Lol Tim has always been friendly & informative as have DDE. Kindest regards, Richard U.K
Well said!
Very interesting conversation, really enjoyed episode. Well done Ben & Tim
Glad you enjoyed it
I like the DDE guys content but as a personality I think they can be quite nauseating.
Glad you enjoyed it
@@RoadToSuccessOfficialPodcast thanks Ben, thought your interviewing style was excellent, allowed Tim to just run with it, will definitely be watching more of you and have subscribed, merry Christmas, have a good one!
It makes you realise there’s more to this UA-cam game than you think. Incredible work ethic.
Great interview. Glad to have a glimpse into the challenges of your career.
Okay buddy
He literally asked about to gumball. They didn't give an answer .
@@StraightUpLazy23 he knew better.
Damn right he did. Now we're supposed to believe he's dim? Not buying it tim
Thank you gentlemen great show.
Glad you enjoyed it
dde has this dude beat ten times over
"trial by audience" is 100% true
37:37 as soon as shmee said too many ads, I got an ad lmfao
Should have owned it Tim. DDE is not a competitor. Your content styles are completely different.
Would be interesting to hear from Gumball organisers. It would clear things up definitively.
thank you for the video it was really informative and to know it from a different perspective.
Cracking pod cast Ben
The question is: if he “had” to have the DDE stickers on his car before he signed up for the rally… would he have done the rally?… no way, and I would have understood… DDE is nothing compared to SHMEE. DDE is beyond the springer of auto UA-cam.. but, it has its place.
I call BS.
if anything....shmee seems to be one of the most humble and genuine car youtubers in the supercar/hypercar arena. while i partake in both dde and shmee...given the chance id sit down for a beer with shmee over the others.
Not often I watch a whole 2 hour podcast but couldn’t leave this one till the end.
Bro started the beef and wants to be little girl about it
Is his voice really his fault?
I really enjoyed this Podcast ... Been following Tim since the early years, because that's the only way you can see an exotic car out in the wild back then, and its humble to see how someone with a similar background as I in education (maths/physics ... love for analytics) as evolved into what Smee150 is today. As for Ben, I've been following for over a year now and keep up the good work!
Really enjoyed this podcast. Well done 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Shmee and DDE needed another collaboration after the fact to strike down any speculation of drama. When it didn't happen, it fueled the fire.
Thanks for creating this platform Ben. Thanks for doing this interview Tim. I'll keep my option on the controversy to myself. I'm just another dude in Antigua 🇦🇬 who loves ❤ cars
Thanks for the video! I am glad you put time stamps in!! Very helpful for a longer video like this!
Going behind someones back will always be a dirty move, hope it'll be resolved in the future.
I hope Shmee will take part in the 2025 Gumball, I live in Romania and it would be a dream to see him and all the cars!
I am so frusted when he didnt follow gumbal this year.my asean county all know who shmee .DDE is more interactive & car channel in my county so proud DDE come.so maybe is time for shmee to do this
he aint allowed back
I wish Shmee would release the video to show his point of view with DDE
Wealthy Woke Whining, he proudly encourages & reps the new Jag commercial!
Garrett is the owner of The car he explained he got to the bank late and the payment didn't make it in time shmee is liar an no one hired an actor to get evicted from a building it was the f12 and the lease on the f12 and that was Dave get your stories straight shmee
Dave is a schmuck for f12 thing jus sayin
Can't stand tim his content sucks and his voice is irritating
Just make peace guys… life will be much better…. From Mozambique 🇲🇿
Love the podcast. Been watching Shmee for over 10 years and it’s crazy how far he’s come. Honestly, don’t give a 💩 about the drama.
Tim is a real gentleman, much respect (even more after this podcast, big up)!!
I wouldn't want to put DDE stickers on my car either.
The amount of clashes DDE has had with other UA-camrs should be a clear indicator on who's wrong.
💯 Dde are a bunch of school girls with non stop drama and boring videos with nothing but click bait
