Back in 2018, I was in secondary school (year 10) when a girl confessed that she loved me but I couldn’t pluck up the courage to ask her out. I won’t name this person but I had a massive crush on her ever since I met her in year 4. She was outgoing, kind, caring and attractive but above all else she was really nice to me and that meant a lot to me. She had been giving me hints for about a year up until that point (winking at me, blushing, complimenting me, and even making the shape of a heart with her hands) but I hadn’t picked up on any of them. Despite knowing her for a long time, I never had the faintest idea she felt this way about me, we were more or less only on a first name basis and I never saw her outside of school. We only ever exchanged a few words with each other and that was only when we’d bump into each other in the corridor or shared the same class. I knew she was sincere about her feelings otherwise she wouldn’t have said it. I have autism and I find communication challenging so it would have been difficult for me to even start a conversation. The truth was that I was scared of being loved in a romantic way as it was something I’d never experienced before. By the time I got to year 11, life was hard for me and I was dealing with anxiety, being bullied everyday and struggling with revision for exams. I ended up having a mental breakdown which forced me to leave school at 16 without doing any GCSEs. The last time I saw my crush was 2019 and that point it was already too late for me to do anything about it. I know I’m a coward and I should have just gone for it since she obviously would have said yes. The single biggest regret of my life is not anything that I’ve done but rather what I didn’t do and what I should have done. I wish I had the courage to have spoken to her, I feel like we could have an amazing relationship together and my heart aches just thinking about it now. I still remember the day it happened like it was last week and I’ll never forget it. I’m only know beginning to come to terms with it now after seeing a therapist and taking medication for my depression but I don’t think I’ll be able ever get over it.
Thank you to whoever managed to read this long story about my sad love life. I’m sorry for writing the lengthy paragraph and I’ve probably repeated myself several times. I’ve been wanting to get this off chest for a long time and I just decided to do it today. I’d appreciate it if someone could leave a positive message or cheer me up in some way. I suppose the moral of this story is, if someone says that they love you then you should tell or better yet show them how you feel.

I am on the inverse situation, i am also autistic (aspergers), and i find it difficult to pick up on these things, but i also am asexual/aromantic, and have been crushed on quite a bit, making the situation a little difficult to navigate, since I don't plan on having a serious relationship anytime soon, but rather keep them as friends without neglecting their feelings.

Yesterday I went through my first heartbreak. Me and this girl have been helping each other and laughing so hard with each other. Shes a genuinely amazing person. I cried when I heard her say she already has a bf. It bumped me out for two days but after talking to some family members who’ve been through much worse, I was finally able to move on from these feelings. There's a girl I'm talking to and I can only speak to her on the phone. the only times I see her is in the hallway. I wanted to make plans to meet her but I have a football practice on every school day and I found out that I have a football game to play tomorrow, on SATURDAY. This is about my crush story .
He is from my college and we in same batch . He is the one who firstly recognized me (from college chat group ) and come to me and talk to me. That's the moment I got that curse , I mean falling love with him. My friends also started to couple up us. But I already knew he is younger than me for 2 years and I am older 2 years more than him. When I say about it to my friends they stop couple up us because they knew it is not possible to have a relationship with that age gap. (Our society strictly prohibited for that kind of affairs, like they are some kind of sin) but you guys know , I already got falling love with him. Now it has been 2 years after falling love with him. But I bearely talk more than 10 words. I keep avoiding him. It's feel like he going to know all my feelings if I talk to him.
I love him sooooo much. I don't have courage to confess my love about him to him. I cry for days cause I already loose him because he liked someone else in his age. But you know that girl rejected him. It's funny right someone's diamond become someone's dump. You guys don't know how much I relieved after here that there affair didn't work. I know I am being selfish but, how I see my love go away. It's like ripping my heart out of me when I am alive.
I know he never like me before or now or never even think about me. I spend my all strength and time for him by helping him when he need support and made good connection between us. But after all of that I realized I was just a supporter or just friend for him.
