This is insane. This changes everything for any DIY project, van or small utility trailer conversion to camper. Solar panel hooked up to this...... Done....... you just made my Jackerys obsolete, yes I have two, the 1000, and 500. And I do like them.
The overhead of the DC makes the unit only 20% more runtime on DC than a Jackery E1000, at 3x the weight. That's a big tax for my primary use, 12v Fridge. Honestly, I only have 200W of solar and am just a weekend warrior, but one or two new features doesn't obsolete other units if they fill different needs. FYI I was sold on the EB140 before I went E1000, I couldn't believe it myself, but 22lbs works for my wife to lift, and fits in the space we need, but this is an impressive unit and I hope Bluetti continues to improve.
@@1bsbsbsbs Yes, the weight is the biggest downer, and since solar charging requires 30v minimum it would require a second panel in series, but I would probably want that anyway, for such a large unit. Was thinking about getting one anyway for my Jackery 1000.

I'd like to test your unit powering my electrical devices in my apt? With 2 ac's, a fan, 3 TV's kitchen appliances, shampooed, vacuum cleaner and ceiling, florescent bulb and lamp lighting. Would it handle that configuration using a industrial extension cord? Could it be connected to a fuse box to power outlets in an apartment? What could be used to connect electrical outlets to the generator via the fusebox? I mean using the generator as the power source cutting off the juice from the grid and the generator being the substitute for the grid powering the outlets without using an extension code? 3474587600

Rhoni Winston well first of all you can’t power all that crap with this little box at once. Power is simple math. Sounds like you’re more on meth. If you’re talking about using something like this temporarily during some sort of event you would use it just like a generator you would find a way to connect it into your fuse box disconnect your fuse panel from the city feed so you don’t electrocute anybody outside of your building or apartment when you run your generator or power box battery thingy but with this you could only run one or two of those items at a time you would still have to manually choose what you get to run and you’re not gonna get to run those items near as long because they’re going to suck way more power then something you’re using in your car or RV or van come on now start thinking about how this works it’s just math not meth.

Best solution for the lack of QuickCharge port is to use a multi-port QuickCharge car adapter. I have a DIY 1.2KWH solar generator and I loaded up the panel with five 12V "cigarette lighter" power points rather than dedicated USB ports (I did include one - WITH QuickCharge...). With all the concern about "clean" power running sesitive devices, including a fridge, I am curious of your statement around 26:00. Will this unit accept "dirty" power from a backup gas generator and, since the inverter does not bypass, clean it through the internals and make "clean" power for ones devices? And of course depending on the output of the generator and the draw of the devices charge the batteries as well?
The power brick this comes with will "filter" dirty power so you "should" be able to charge it with a modified sine inverter or a low end non-inverter gas generator. The power coming from the AC200 will always be clean.
Name it the Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator! Can you speak about the 120W panels Bluetti is selling with the early bird special? I bought the AC200 with 2 panels. Hope they're good! Thanks for your time
Camp Runamuck Not that challenging. I already have something that’s about 75% built because one of my original plans was to be able to charge my van’s house system via an EV charger. You can purchase the adapter that talks to the charger cpu online. The biggest issue is needing to safely kill one leg of the 240v that the charger normally outputs.
i have an eco worthy 120 wat folding panel with only a 5.5mm barrel connector output cable. How would i connect that to PV charging port on the bluetti?

THANKYOU for responding I appreciate that very much That’s fantastic you guys all touch base on these amazing pieces of technology I never thought we’d all see outside the military but secrets get out and ideas run wild These solar generators are already generations ahead as the military has a system that somehow charges by lack of photons at night I dont know how classified it is if it is at all But think of how a heat pump works or a thermal core heater that is drilled a grand into the earth and uses the earths temp differentiation to both heat and cool homes In that sense the process to produce electric current can be achieved by solar sunlit power as it can also be equally or supposedly surpassing it by a reverse process of going dark I can only see that happening from the sun setting til it’s deduced into all darkness to create a polar reversal and produce current but once in constant state of darkness how the hell does lacking photons or what exists within the dark that produces endless juice where as I was told these generators are basically just buried into the elites bunkers as well as Trumps and our military And basically you can easily create darkness anywhere anytime But the trillion dollar literal industry they wont reveal is parallel with say COLD FUSION These two endless free power no moving parts gifts from GOD due exist with one most certainly for sure being the DARK PHOTON GENERATORS somehow the polar opposite of a daytime or lit photon albeit a darkening and dark photon that is always theoretically in motion as it wants to ignite It’s at a constant battle with itself to illuminate as all photons come alive within the suns rays In this sense it begins to somewhat turn on the proverbial lights all pun intended It may also be total nonsense but if you and Will are the guys to pull it off you must cut me in on a percentage Have a great Fourth of July 🇺🇸 brother

@@HOBOTECH OK thanks. Can we buy in bulk? I'm also looking into buying smaller portable solar generator up to 100-200 watts. Most of the best ones are made in America. Should I buy a step up transformer? Or do you have a better idea?
Is this one to replace/upgrade the “blue” Bluetti or is it a bigger one and the blue one is a smaller option? I am confused. Thinking this is upgrade. ?
I never saw the $999 price and I was there when the link unlocked - I was signed up beforehand. Not sure what you had to do to get that. I went for the $1659. @HOBOTECH a review of the folding 120W panels would be cool.
What is the best backup for a server size desktop with 4 4K monitors & two giant laptops and one ipad? That would turn on if electric source cuts off (or we turn on manually) and run for at least a day and then be able to solar power also and recharge and run for indefinite on solar and batteries? these are our source of work, and even if have to work in the dark and eat canned beans, we need these to be backed up. Oh, yea, and we rent, have to move someday, so all of this needs to be semi portable, we could use a dolly- but can’t hook up permanently to the house, like no rooftop solar array stuff. Newbie here, just learning all this, signed on patreon and shared your site. THANKS!
UK delivery costs really kill the deal. I was all set for an AC200, AC50S and a couple solar panels, but the shipping was almost half the cost again. Really gutted.

I don't like that having to select the DC input, as every time you park or drive you have to go change that manually. Can't someone make an auto-switch or combiner of some kind, similar to Renogy;s DC-DC charger that has MTTP built in?
i cant find any info on what youre supposed to do with the 12v 3a outputs, which is unfortunate cause i have two 12v fans that i need to power and that seems like the only place... anybody have any info on that?
Anticipating the arrival of my AC200 but curious...how would one use the 25a "rv plug" with a typical travel trailer? Assuming there's some additional wiring needed on the travel trailer side of the connection.
Was a few days late to the party but they still had the extended packages available, which include 2x the good solar panels. I think they have closed it by now though
Would it be possible to allow the 12v output to be switched between 12V & 13.6V? The reason is that I am a ham radio operator and electrical eng. that has a large collection of mobile 2-way radios. The radios are designed to run on a 12V system that will be 13.6V when the car is running and the battery is being charged by the alternator. These radios will typically run in receive mode at 12V OK but in transmit mode the transmitted power is reduced if they are not operated at 13.6V. An adjustable 12V output would be a big plus.
Rookie Question I know... I have two plugs on my Ac200 that I've never seen and I have no idea how or why I would ever use them. I tried researching them and found nothing at this fundamental level... One says "DC Output 12v/25a" and the other is "12v/3a". What would a typical person be using these two plugs to power please? Thank you.
Hobo I pulled the trigger on the unit. First time that I have purchased something like this. So grateful for your videos. Novice at this so what do you recommend I get for solar panels? Thanks a ton for your help and subscribe for your channel. Thanks again
Someone please help me understand- How would one go about powering multiple 12v dc electronics to this device? The items I would need to power are a nature's head toilet, maxx fan, leds, possibly a fridge? I should mention I do not have an RV and I do not have existing wiring to tap into. I would like to build off of this, if possible.
Its possible the screen on these devices could get damaged by accident if struct by an object. So a plexiglass insert or coverdoor would be nice , or make one. As for the 12v car port, I think those are fuse limited at 10A for safety due to thin consumer device wires , hence can only supply 120w but thats usually enough.
I am ready to purchase my first solar system. I’ve been looking at the Inergy Flex 1500 power station. Can you tell me how it compares to this Bluetti? Thanks
Could you use this as a replacement for two lead acid batteries on a travel trailer? Can this power the power lift Jack? What about the fridge? Thanks!
On the video on their website they say it will automatically power down if less than 50 Watts is drawn within 4 hours. Does this mean it will turn off if it's only running my refrigerator for 4 or 5 hours? Is there an override for this setting?
I ordered over 5 months ago and still have not received my Bluetti ac200. I'm getting really more than worried now. I saw through my messages that the last 2 batches were due on Jan5. Haven't heard anything about if they did or when to expect them. I'm very worried.
Do you think it possible to have a solution where you can have it charge input from both the solar panels and the alternator using a CTEK D250SE with a 200W solar array? i.e. simultaneous DC charging.

It's not going to run constantly because I insulated my trailer pretty well with some R15 insulation. How do you calculate something like Wh needed for something that cycles on and off throughout the day and night?
How can i use the Bluetti AC200 for my appliances that are 220V such as air conditioner 5000BTU? Is there an adapter i can use to plug my foreign appliances that are 220V?
Looking for a home backup/didn't really want a gas generator...I know it can power lights and a fridge...but how long could it power 2 5000 BTU air conditioners? along with lights, standard home fridge, cook top, ect?

The power brick this comes with will "filter" dirty power so you "should" be able to charge it with a modified sine inverter or a low end non-inverter gas generator. The power coming from the AC200 will always be clean.
I love how all the reviewers refer to the 12volt adaptor as the “cigarette lighter.” When was the last time you saw a cigarette lighter in a car?!?😂
Shows our age.
H K and your point is???
Sorry. When I saw your post, I saw “Shows YOUR age.
We are good.
When was the last time you had seen someone stick gloves in a glove box?
Name it the Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator! Can you speak about the 120W panels Bluetti is selling with the early bird special? I bought the AC200 with 2 panels. Hope they're good! Thanks for your time
They didn't send me panels yet. That will be a future review. I'd go ahead and get them though as they are guaranteed to work with the AC200.
It would be cool if you could charge them from a Tesla charging station
Maybe you could invent the adapter........... just sayin.........its a great idea.
Scott Christensen looks to me like it would be a good ideal
Camp Runamuck Not that challenging. I already have something that’s about 75% built because one of my original plans was to be able to charge my van’s house system via an EV charger. You can purchase the adapter that talks to the charger cpu online. The biggest issue is needing to safely kill one leg of the 240v that the charger normally outputs.
Stephen Otto thanks man for the input . That would sure be a cool option.
i have an eco worthy 120 wat folding panel with only a 5.5mm barrel connector output cable. How would i connect that to PV charging port on the bluetti?
Name the heat gun “Karen”
Your solar panel was 2 inches above regulation height, don't worry I took care of it.
That packs a lot of punch! The only one item that would be nice to have would be a 30amp plug to connect to an RV or Trailer.
"The Watt Wacker"
Hi, my first reply.
The regular 110-120 withe you phone comes with a quck charger. Thank you, your the greatest👍👍
110-120 watt plug in will suit the smartphone fast charger that comes with it.
JUST WHAT SHE NEEDS IS A “GOOD ROGERING”!!!!!!!!!!...........!
I can’t tell you how great your channel is bro
I got to get one of these to keep our tasers hot
It would be a hell of a show to get you and the GREAT “””WILL PROUSE””” on a simultaneous show or better yet together making your own partnered masterpiece
I hope to make a trip to Vegas eventually and will ask him about doing a collab of some kind. He and I do chat offline.
THANKYOU for responding
I appreciate that very much
That’s fantastic you guys all touch base on these amazing pieces of technology I never thought we’d all see outside the military but secrets get out and ideas run wild
These solar generators are already generations ahead as the military has a system that somehow charges by lack of photons at night
I dont know how classified it is if it is at all
But think of how a heat pump works or a thermal core heater that is drilled a grand into the earth and uses the earths temp differentiation to both heat and cool homes
In that sense the process to produce electric current can be achieved by solar sunlit power as it can also be equally or supposedly surpassing it by a reverse process of going dark
I can only see that happening from the sun setting til it’s deduced into all darkness to create a polar reversal and produce current but once in constant state of darkness how the hell does lacking photons or what exists within the dark that produces endless juice where as I was told these generators are basically just buried into the elites bunkers as well as Trumps and our military
And basically you can easily create darkness anywhere anytime
But the trillion dollar literal industry they wont reveal is parallel with say COLD FUSION
These two endless free power no moving parts gifts from GOD due exist with one most certainly for sure being the DARK PHOTON GENERATORS
somehow the polar opposite of a daytime or lit photon albeit a darkening and dark photon that is always theoretically in motion as it wants to ignite
It’s at a constant battle with itself to illuminate as all photons come alive within the suns rays
In this sense it begins to somewhat turn on the proverbial lights all pun intended
It may also be total nonsense but if you and Will are the guys to pull it off you must cut me in on a percentage
Have a great Fourth of July 🇺🇸 brother
Dueling heat gun match. My gun is bigger than your gun.
Does this have the ability to have software updates?
No.
I like the idea of naming their chargers after aircraft carrier types/classes. And yes change the graphics on the top to look like the deck of an aircraft carrier for landing zones for the phones.
What if you live in a country that has 220 volts and plug types C/E? How can we use it?
You buy a 220v for your country.
Love your channel. It’s awesome / thank you for all your great solar videos. 😎🎷
This Product is Going to Make Proudly Smarter People' Just In Understanding How It Works!😶👍
I never saw the $999 price and I was there when the link unlocked - I was signed up beforehand. Not sure what you had to do to get that. I went for the $1659. @HOBOTECH a review of the folding 120W panels would be cool.
Awesome. They are on the way!
Sorry, just rewatched the video. Menu select PV or Car. So PV on the roof. Could I have an inverter connected to the van battery then charge the Bluetti with the AC adapter while driving? Tx.
Yes.
I would like some information about the video that somebody put out there allow the bluetty generator the low temperature it's not marking well so is there any information about defaults?im scared
Thanks for your video! Your timing is excellent. I appreciate your honesty.
What are your thoughts on using one of these with the Ford F-150 power boost system that creates 7200 watts of power in the bed of the truck? Ideas for backup power on a house? Solar? AC cooling in the summer and Infrared heating for winter camping? Thanks for the quality content you put here on UA-cam!! Appreciate it...
Great review & seemingly solid product from Bluetti. I’ll consider this unit if I need to up my power from the GoalZero 1000 & Jackery 500 that I’m currently running.
A quality extension cable included, with the other adapter cables would be good, for using the panels outside, with the generator inside
I never laugh,i dont have time to,I was afraid I'd be wasting my time watching these videos but surprisingly hes very precise and accurate.
The cat at the end commanded me to subscribe:) ha
Awesome review! Thank you!
Hoping to see a review of the INERGY FLEX 1500 POWER STATION
Write to them. Maybe they will send me one. I wrote to them twice and they don't want my help.
Thank you for the awesome review. I preordered one for my 4x4 ambulance RV conversion.
Good job Hobo!!! Thanks man...be careful of wind and fires out there....I'm surprised I don't see spoke in background...tak care man!!😊😊
I don't like that having to select the DC input, as every time you park or drive you have to go change that manually. Can't someone make an auto-switch or combiner of some kind, similar to Renogy;s DC-DC charger that has MTTP built in?
Would you pick this over the Bluetti EB240? Thanks for the detailed reviews!
I would. Battery is smaller but it's better in every other way.
i cant find any info on what youre supposed to do with the 12v 3a outputs, which is unfortunate cause i have two 12v fans that i need to power and that seems like the only place... anybody have any info on that?
Holy Solar generators Batman!!! I would need a 1 ton axle to carry that thing! Great looking power source professor!
They now offer a wheeled trolley with bag as part of the campaign.
Great information! It's good to see your Subs getting up there.
Anticipating the arrival of my AC200 but curious...how would one use the 25a "rv plug" with a typical travel trailer? Assuming there's some additional wiring needed on the travel trailer side of the connection.
You wire it into a fuse box.
@@HOBOTECH That's what I was thinking. Just needed the expert for validation :). Thanks
Was a few days late to the party but they still had the extended packages available, which include 2x the good solar panels. I think they have closed it by now though
Thanks for this. Excellent review.
It's fixed at 13.4v.
Thank you.
Watch my 4 AC200 videos and all your questions will be answered.
Hobo I pulled the trigger on the unit. First time that I have purchased something like this. So grateful for your videos. Novice at this so what do you recommend I get for solar panels? Thanks a ton for your help and subscribe for your channel. Thanks again
I suggest getting the Bluetti ones as part of the bundle. Otherwise, the BougeRV ones on sale right now.
You run the 25A output into a DC fuse box then run your accessories off that.
@@HOBOTECH Thank you :)
Thanks
Stick with the etti unless you really need to add batteries for some reason
Could you use this as a replacement for two lead acid batteries on a travel trailer? Can this power the power lift Jack? What about the fridge? Thanks!
Yes
Can you over panel this thing for cloudy days?
Yep.
On the video on their website they say it will automatically power down if less than 50 Watts is drawn within 4 hours. Does this mean it will turn off if it's only running my refrigerator for 4 or 5 hours? Is there an override for this setting?
I covered this in the video. You can turn off ECO mode to disable this feature.
Just how long would that be able to power the Air Conditioning unit in your RV.
Depends on the a/c and outside temperature.
I ordered over 5 months ago and still have not received my Bluetti ac200. I'm getting really more than worried now. I saw through my messages that the last 2 batches were due on Jan5. Haven't heard anything about if they did or when to expect them. I'm very worried.
crowdfunding@bluetti.com
@@HOBOTECH I will contact them again.
Do you think it possible to have a solution where you can have it charge input from both the solar panels and the alternator using a CTEK D250SE with a 200W solar array? i.e. simultaneous DC charging.
You can't use a battery charger on this. The solar port obviously takes DC, but the AC port also can take DC if you feed it 58.8v directly.
@@HOBOTECH Thank you! It means a lot that you took the time to respond. Love the content and the level of detail you do. Plus your presentation is really entertaining!
Can I charge this with 1 solar panel when I travel ? I don't have room for all three.
is there a 25 amp to 30 amp adapter? can't seem to find one for an RV?
I have 15A to 30A dogbones on hobotech.tv/amazon
So I got a few questions, I'm new to the solar game and honestly don't know where to start. I'm looking at solar generators to power a mini split on my TearDrop trailer which runs at 450 watts.
You need to buy a 220v EU model.
HOBOTECH thank you for your time...great info on your videos
I’m in desperate need of an MC4 to Anderson connector. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.... thanks
hobotech.tv/amazon/#Solar-Adapters
Looking for a home backup/didn't really want a gas generator...I know it can power lights and a fridge...but how long could it power 2 5000 BTU air conditioners? along with lights, standard home fridge, cook top, ect?
1440wh / your watt load = # hours
@@HOBOTECH Ok thanks...new to this..not sure if this would work as a home bkup...thanks again!
