Hello! I think this is my first time watching your videos. I am obsessed with seeing other peoples TBR even though mines is way too long. I recommend Beverly Jenkins if you haven’t read anything by her before. One of my favorite standalone books by her is called Wild Sweet Love ( I know the title is… interesting) it’s so good. This month I am going to read Destiny’s Captive this is the third book in a trilogy which follows one brother and love interest each of the Yates brothers. 😊

I'm currently reading Powerless and I'm loving it so much. I now understand the hype. I'm not into fantasy books, so it took me by surprise by how much I'm enjoying the book. I also recommend the audiobook. I really enjoy the voice actors' voice for Kai.😊

Beartown is super emotional
Powerless was a DNF... Copy of Hunger Games & Red Queen... I gave it 7hrs and it was a direct ripoff 👎🏽 She's getting a pass because she's a BookTokker... Anyone else who copied Hunger Games would be getting raked over the coals 😣

You mentioned Ninth House and I just bought the B&N Exclusive Editions and they are BEAUTIFUL, so plan to start those this month
Oh wow, I know most people seem to love Powerless, but I did see someone else on booktok also say it was just like the Hunger Games so they didn’t like it!

I highly suggest looking up trigger warnings for None of this is true. I didnt and regretted it. The book itself is well written, but just make sure you know what you are going into. Im also starting Once Upon a Broken Heart :)

@carolinerichards_ Update - I really enjoyed Once Upon a broken heart. I will be picking up the second because it ends on a cliffhanger of sorts. Its fairytale-esque and a little dark. It was a fast enjoyable read.
