If you lived on the island of Koh Lanta like me, you would not say that about those tires. They are perfect for Thailand roads, because they change from tarmac to mud to red dust to gravel to 6 inches of water every 2km. Road tires here are crap. I even put knobblies on my old honda dream 125 excess because Thailand is more suited to that regardless sof whether it is a road bike or offroad. The Ducati scrambler is afantastic bike for good and bad roads and can power through a load of holes gravel and bumps at 80 mph without even feeling a bump. However, if you fall off and damage it, it wil cost almost the same as a new one, to fix. I know my night shift cost me 430,000 Thai Baht and they want 230,000-300,000 Baht to fix the exchaust tank and footpegs - So it is not cheap to maintain. You need at least twice the price of the bike to keep maintained for five years. Lke a marina yacht, having enough just to buy the bike, is not enough, you need a lot more money to pay the maintainance continually afterwards, so it is a bespoke bike, and not for those faint hearted to spend money on it

@@ILikeMotorbikes yes, looking at the moment, I only like the full throttle version, they're a bit few and far between though. They seem to keep their money and nice ones that havn't been molested and altered are like hens teeth!

@@pshotton3752 yeah all scramblers seem to hold their value pretty well! Partly I think because many of the ones I've seen for sale used have very low mileage.

@@ILikeMotorbikes Ive owned loads of sports bikes didn't really notice the rear suspension being soft but this was the first up right bike I've ever owned maybe I just didn't realise as it's different to sportsbikes

Look around secondhand. Plenty of them are coming up for sale around that price. Ebay, Facebook marketplace, auto trader, gumtree etc
Dealers are unlikely to list for that price unless they are high mileage examples
