Save that propane light above the range, they are highly desired by restoration folks that restor old trailers. Next episode one excavator and a dumpster, haul the metal to recyclye everything else is dumped, save the trailer frame for a equipment trailer.
If you still have everything then put everything in boxes and haul to some auction. Just try to group things together or make "jumble boxes" - people will buy anything at auctions. Even that suitcase that is green 💚 "@@betweenthesharksgarage
dude you are not wrong... i shook it, it was light and sounded empty... didn't make the cut... it was awwweeeefuuul to be in there.... but kudos on the most enthusiastic comment yet most everyone says set it on fire... and cool video on flathead vales though, that will help some folks
@@betweenthesharksgarage Thanks on the kudos and video comment! But I must admit my real plan for the camper is close to what others said. First I’d dig out a fire pit and get a medium sized fire going. Then I’d start systematically emptying the trailer and create three piles. Clothes, wood, books and such get stacked near the fire and slowly added to the fire throughout the process (don’t want to create a bonfire that attracts attention). Pure garbage that you don’t feel is ok to burn (anything that’s going to create lots of nasty black smoke that will attract attention) will be a pile for trash/dump. Then the 3rd pile would be metal for the scrapyard. There maybe a few things like that light you want to save along the way. Basically strip it down to the frame to make a small utility/implement trailer like others suggested. I’d also probably start by ripping off the door and cutting some big holes in the walls to get a bunch of airflow and make the clean out less gross!
Looks like a good demolition project for your new equipment ! It won't take much to reduce it to a manageable pile, to be hauled off ! Sorry about your LUCK. Cheers, ...Newk from Kentucky
Sawzall down to the frame and everything to the dumpster. Repurpose frame to haul you excavator maybe. If you were really industrious I guess you could try and peel the aluminum sheets off to recycle for a few bucks.
That thing is ROUGH, could be fixed with some dedication. I think if you cleared all the garbage out first it would be less shocking.... If you do, insulation suit with a mask, goggles, and gloves for sure. The floor would be the hardest part but again its really just a TON of rotten wood and a TON of time. HD carries the thin wall paneling and cheap foam board insulation. Also depends on if you have paperwork lol. Trailer frame, scrap maybe. Make the entire back open and turn it into a mobile workshop!!! haha. Awesome video!
@@medfordJimmy ...well thank you jimmy medford...i have my own videos maybe you will like...its puppets and hot wheels theft. i already subscribed to you.
If it were on my property, I'd open the windows and after it airs, strip out all the appliances. After you get valuables then worry about how to get rid of it, maybe strip it down to reuse the frame.
Brother, wear a mask 😷 tyvek suit and toss everything that isn't factory outside. Once you get all the trash out and clean it up, you will be shocked at how much better it will be. That is a sought after size in bumper pull campers. I would rebuild it, just remember that you have to tear it down in reverse. Take all the windows and siding off, then detach the roof then walls. The inner cabinets and walls are what gives the camper it's strength. Then with the old walls face down, measure, cut and assemble the new frames on top of the old.
Salvage the windows and sheet metal on exterior sell on marketplace as vintage camper parts. Get rid of any wood component. Check trailer once stripped for usability.
that s a cool channel thanks for introducing me to it.... i ll tag him in the comment here and we will see if it works.... @RobTheRebuilder laurafiler3760 recommended i reach out to you about this camper i have... maybe you need parts, maybe you need to rebuild whatever you have, or have some advice on what to do with this one
Best thing you can do is have an 18 yard dumpster delivered then go rent a smaller excavator with the claw and tear it apart buddy . Then you can also clean up the yard a bit and get rid of unnecessary junk .
Those 🥾 r made for walking...scrap it, fridge stove and sink may be salvageable. Too many spider's for me! Sounds like the squirrel was upset, my dog noticed right off!! Maybe save the frame for something else. Gas can + lighters hum... bonfire?!? 🔥
Look in the walls, door, oven & lights all the hiding places that the eye can't see, cause looks to me there could be money stashed, don't look like he was spending it, heaps of little hiding places to be found, good luck 👍
Great video, did you check the books? Some people leave money in the pages, no idea why, maybe a little dementia or maybe just eccentric. You are way braver than me, if I saw one spider, I would have screamed like a kindergarten girl, and would have set the place on fire running like the hounds of hell were after me lol.
Fill it with all the other junk that is left behind and if you property is big enough drag it off and leave it for the next people that buy the land from you or for archeologists in the future to figure out.
take it a part and make a small trailer hauler out of it that is what i am planing on doing when i find 3 of them i am going to take them a part and make trailer for hauling my scrap around to the scrap yards in my town
Hours of fun with the excavator then load it up and take it to the scrappy and get paid out. Buy pizza and a drink, great content for UA-cam, win win situation. 😊😊 Gary 🇬🇧🇬🇧
The excavator would make some content, but, is that what you want to spend time on? maybe a scrapper would take it off your hands for a small fee. That just looks like encephalitis on flat tires to me. I wouldn't even want to spread the spores that live there. Even burning it would pose more risk than it's worth. I do think that would be the most fun, though.
fire seems like the most popular option. the excavator is an amusing thought, maybe there s something else in there i miss that would be found when scatted about? is it worth trying to salvage the trailer? but is it how i want to spend my time.. probably not ...but one way or another its gotta go
I would take stove, refrg, vent hood and air cond out see if they ,clean them up and sell them if they don't just set back camper on the floor and junk all
How much money would it take for you to spend the night in the camper bed, pillows and all? :D Joking aside, I used to work at a salvage yard and we would scrap those for the metal. It's not difficult, just tedious. Thanks for the tour.
Bro, how many of those cig lighters work. The one you tried and it worked long enough to start a burn pile in the yard to empty all of that trailer's unwanted contents.👍👊💪🥴😷
You can even take it to a scrap yard Because of the interior, he got a got it and then scrap it start a burn barrel in your backyard start burning all the interior
Remove stuff out of the camper starting at the front, work your way towards the back, open the windows, salvage windows, appliances, lights,, trailer skin, everything else is questionable.
Alot of people are doing mini homes, or buying these things to fix up to live in...maybe try selling as-is they pick up...or just get a big Ole dumpster and haul that sucker away
Damn I just saw that this video was a whole month ago I was going to come to the comments and say if you really don't want that trailer I'll take it I'll give you the gas money for bringing it down to Lawton Oklahoma. But this video is a month old and I'm just now seeing it so you've probably already done something with the trailer. 😢
Save that propane light above the range, they are highly desired by restoration folks that restor old trailers. Next episode one excavator and a dumpster, haul the metal to recyclye everything else is dumped, save the trailer frame for a equipment trailer.
Think that’s the best course of action
If you still have everything then put everything in boxes and haul to some auction. Just try to group things together or make "jumble boxes" - people will buy anything at auctions. Even that suitcase that is green 💚 "@@betweenthesharksgarage
Tear it down and use the frame to make a trailer out of. The siding and other items can be scraped for money
That's what I was going to recommend. Strip it down to the frame and make a utility trailer out of it.
Camper frame would make a good equipment trailer
This.
The trailer is telling you what to do! It provided the lighters ….. burn it !!!!
One word comes to mind. Tannerite!
that would be very fun
Seriously, you didn’t open the suitcase? That’s where DB’s money is!

😂
Take the a/c and see if it works and put in the shop after cleaning
The windows look pretty good. Worth at least $100 each. I have the exact same trailer and if I lived closer I would come get them
The lighters and paper towels give me a idea maybe a little diesel fuel. Lol
Looks like a good demolition project for your new equipment ! It won't take much to reduce it to a manageable pile, to be hauled off !

Back in 2020 finding that roll of toilet paper was a gold mine during the great toilet paper shortage lol
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 meanwhile I just started buying Kleenex. I just didn’t flush it 🤦🏾♀️
Fill it with scrap from around the property and take it to the dump
The lighters is probably the most valuable in that...... Not joking- with the right advertising on them they can bring a few bucks 🙂
I would clear it out replace floor and ceiling and use it for storage
Love the Cruiser. I had one in 1984 till 1994. Went almost anyplace I pointed it.
Sawzall down to the frame and everything to the dumpster. Repurpose frame to haul you excavator maybe. If you were really industrious I guess you could try and peel the aluminum sheets off to recycle for a few bucks.
Redo it use it as income. Start with the baby scraps. Take a before and after pic. Love it! Awesome
we may just have to stay tuned!
Cleaning up the RV

You got the mini x, get a roll off and tear it down and make a little utility trailer. They make great trailers.
THE MUSIC SCARED ME SO MUCH I ALMOST PEED MY PANTS N THE LIBRARY
😂😂😂❤

Congratulations you've landed a hillbilly heaven complete with a spidah farm! 😂 Seriously you should try to salvage..
That is all true Should make postcards that say that. Greetings from hillbilly heaven complete with spider farm… wish you were here
Prices are going up on those 70s trailers. Young people think they're vintage

you make it sounds so easy... but yea you are probably right, if i really committed and cleaned it out it would probably get a lot better fast
Salvage the windows and sheet metal on exterior sell on marketplace as vintage camper parts.
Get rid of any wood component.
Check trailer once stripped for usability.
Disassemble it and keep the frame/trailer. Btw love your Land Cruiser
I would try save it
Fire seems like a good option...
100%👌
If the box with the red bow says Esther Price candies, trust me one has good taste
See if the tires hold air, next step tow that thing to the dump and be done with it
Spontaneous combustion in the middle of the night
You should talk to Rob the trailer rebiulder.may have some parts he could use on his trailers. Lights, glass marker lites possibly tail lights.
that s a cool channel thanks for introducing me to it.... i ll tag him in the comment here and we will see if it works.... @RobTheRebuilder laurafiler3760 recommended i reach out to you about this camper i have... maybe you need parts, maybe you need to rebuild whatever you have, or have some advice on what to do with this one
One way trip to the landfill
Maybe it was an old poor man that lived there . God bless his soul ! Please don't down what you do not know !
Looks a bit like horror houses from resident evil.. demo it with mini-ex and haul it to the dump :D
Complete Gut It Out And Start From Scratch,,,Design and Make It Your Own And New God God Bless You❤
Yes! Thank you!
Whoever lived in this little camper, must have been very poor, I feel sorry for them, hopefully they were able to get better accomidations!
Junk the thing, more work than it's worth.
Best thing you can do is have an 18 yard dumpster delivered then go rent a smaller excavator with the claw and tear it apart buddy . Then you can also clean up the yard a bit and get rid of unnecessary junk .
Tear it down to the frame and turn it into a lawn mower trailer.. there's a few things in there you might be able to save..
not a bad idea
5 gallons of diesel fuel and a road flare should fix it right up
Make a flat bed trailer for hauling
There is pleanty of junk still to get rid of
Those 🥾 r made for walking...scrap it, fridge stove and sink may be salvageable. Too many spider's for me! Sounds like the squirrel was upset, my dog noticed right off!! Maybe save the frame for something else. Gas can + lighters hum... bonfire?!? 🔥

you might be right
Take the aluminum siding off it turn that in turn the frame into a trailer to haul off more s***
With the siding and the cans there might be enough to make it worth while
Great video, did you check the books?
Some people leave money in the pages, no idea why, maybe a little dementia or maybe just eccentric.
You are way braver than me, if I saw one spider, I would have screamed like a kindergarten girl, and would have set the place on fire running like the hounds of hell were after me lol.
Excavator, dumpster. Good trailer left for haulin.
Fill it with all the other junk that is left behind and if you property is big enough drag it off and leave it for the next people that buy the land from you or for archeologists in the future to figure out.
There's a man who likes restoring old campers
If the stove and oven are gas that would explain the lighters. and the propane lamp
My guess is something is in the fridge. That is trying to decompose lol my guess on the smell
i dont think i looked...if i did i blocked it from memory
take it a part and make a small trailer hauler out of it that is what i am planing on doing when i find 3 of them i am going to take them a part and make trailer for hauling my scrap around to the scrap yards in my town
I hit the subscribe button when you said “Don’t try this at home; I’m a professional”. 😂😂
I think you may enjoy the channel then lol... thanks for subscribing it really does help a lot in youtube land
Bon fire
Gut it storage shed
Reading some of the comments and I agree it is beyond salvation.
a total rebuild down to the frame... or scrap it
Hours of fun with the excavator then load it up and take it to the scrappy and get paid out. Buy pizza and a drink, great content for UA-cam, win win situation. 😊😊 Gary 🇬🇧🇬🇧
That is a positive mental attitude. I like all of it we may just do it
If you dont want to haul it off get a dumpster and use the mini exc to bust it up and load in dumpster
Bond fire 🔥
I would take the ac unit, mini fridge and microwave then junk the rest.
God bless you!
The excavator would make some content, but, is that what you want to spend time on? maybe a scrapper would take it off your hands for a small fee. Is that a terry trailer?? I think I had the same one!
I never found a brand label on it sooo maybe?
I would take stove, refrg, vent hood and air cond out see if they ,clean them up and sell them if they don't just set back camper on the floor and junk all
People dig a hole , rip everything off the trailer frame and fill the hole , turn the trailer into a usable flatbed and make your money back from it
Fix it up and rent it. Even beat up ones here are worth much more than market value because of the housing shortage.
i would have checked out what was in the suitcase
Yes about time lol sorry I wish I never got you to do it now
man... it had do be done... but dear lord
Get that you better get that spider web
Put it on the back of a flatbed and hall it to the scrapyard
Use one of those lighters and burn a bit at a time give the metal away 😅
certainly seems like one of the more viable options
How much money would it take for you to spend the night in the camper bed, pillows and all? :D Joking aside, I used to work at a salvage yard and we would scrap those for the metal. It's not difficult, just tedious. Thanks for the tour.

There are places you can take it back you have to pay alot for them to take it
It looks like a start to a fallout 76 build but with the roofs has been leaking for that long I would bulldoze it down
Have an uncle that would take just the frame and build a huge smoker on it. He'd sell them for 2500 or more
Remove stuff out of the camper starting at the front, work your way towards the back, open the windows, salvage windows, appliances, lights,, trailer skin, everything else is questionable.
Smokes and lighters, loose change, pan handler
i mean.. .that or maybe i lived there 20 years
You are about my sons age so I'm a mom. Be sure to throw those gloves out when you're done.
I would strip it and get a dumber and haul the junk off. There is copper and aluminum in it you could probably get a couple of hundred out of it
That thing will have to be completely gutted all the way down to the chassis.
Redo the camper That would be a great video! You might be surprised.
i may have to this video is getting a strange amount of attention
Take it to the recycling plant
Sucks about the Dually and the Jeep.
indeed i was stoked on those
I'm hoping it's more lawn mower parts
if only it were as good as lawn mower parts
@@betweenthesharksgarage so true lol rip it up
Strip out rubbish, put in some lights and then party 🥳
Ill take the lighters!! Always losing mine.
I was a notorious lighter their back in the day. Maybe I stashed them there … this is a fine loop. And if I dig deep enough I ll find my own stuff
Turn the old camper into a utility trailer or dump trailer
Kerosine and a match!
Alot of people are doing mini homes, or buying these things to fix up to live in...maybe try selling as-is they pick up...or just get a big Ole dumpster and haul that sucker away
Hitch it up, haul it off
Scrap it out. To my eye, I see about $80-100. And the light fixtures and door can be parked out for someone restoration project.
