Iceland Ring Road Part 1

Iceland is a land of truly spectacular scenery: waterfalls, mountains, nature baths/hot springs, glaciers, and beautiful horses. Join me with my granddaughters, Isabella and Charlotte, as we start our journey on the Ring Road heading east. The loop is about 850 miles long, and with all of the side trips, we perhaps doubled that mileage on our trip.
Part 1 is our first full day, including two mighty waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss. We took a magical and exhilarating walk behind the first; then we hiked a beautiful couple of miles up toward the source of the second for stunning views from above.
