- Another video which I thought was an essential for UA-cam. Watch as, when it finishes, a Related Video has an extended link that's been around for a few months.
The Binding of Isaac has some great music, works well for the game. When you manage to unlock a shop in the game, this is the music that loops until you leave. A track that sounds like it's being fed through a tinny speaker from the corner of a small-town convenience store, designed merely so that the shop isn't silent. So what better to do than extend it to an hour long and upload it to UA-cam?
Change your local shop's radio to this, and set the mood! Amaze your friends! Depress your clientèle!

I also don't own The Binding of Isaac, or the picture used in the middle of the video (like you'd watch that part :V). That's owned by Edmund McMillen and Florian Himsl, or the guys who made Super Meat Boy.

It's not a liquid, it's a great many pieces of solid matter that form a hard floor-like surface

I wonder what caused Greed to hang himself? He was once an honest shopkeeper until his deadly sin consumed him and turned him into an abomination.
This tragic tune seems to tell his tale.
What makes you think he was once an honest shopkeeper? Maybe he was greedy his whole life until karma or something said it's enough ruined his life, so he hanged himself in his shop.
He's got a rope tied around his neck like all the other shopkeepers, who hung themselves. Greed mainly appears in shops. There are also the "Hanger" enemies which look like Greed and are suspended on nooses and spit tears like Greed that knock coins out on contact. There are also the "Keeper" enemies which are Greed heads and spit tears that drop coins (and their name is similar to "Shop Keeper".)

That's true, thought I'm not sure what that has to do with why Greed hung himself, lol. Regardless, I personally enjoy to talk about this sort of stuff, The Binding of Isaac is, although kind of cute looking, a rather dark game full of symbolism. Most people don't pay any attention to that part, which is a shame, imo.
mimihigurashi That's just it...we don't know why he hung himself, but I think he was one of the shopkeepers before he died. There could be a reference between Greed and Judas of the Bible, who betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. Later, he became sickened by the guilt of his betrayal (and greed for the blood money), threw the coins back at the men who hired him, went to a field, and hung himself. Just my theory, though. And agreed on the symbolism being subtle, yet sinister at times. Gives the game almost a creepy vibe in some places the more you find out about it :0

Judas hung himself? Interesting, I didn't know that. It makes sense now that you mention it. Judas should start with 30 cents, it would be more fitting, lol, but I guess a bit OP from a financial standpoint.

The song that plays when you fight greed is the music that plays with all of the other Deadly Sins.
My point being that it's called "Greed" because you venture into a shop. If you go into a shop then you have some "Greed" in you.
Idk why but this song makes me think of that part in fallout 4 when you come out of the vault And see everything destroyed and turned into a nuclear wasteland

Here's a tip: get the best headphones you can obtain, then put the volume at max (caution: your ears might bleed), then put video volume at max, press play, enjoy a serene yet decrepit sound filled with an echo of insanity in the background. (caution: you may experience nightmares and insomnia from this)
It's a drawback to the original layout by all means, also you'll probably think I'm trolling so you would not consider this idea. I do seem like the Devil giving you a deal and at the end I will take all.

or when you have the Yum Heart and there is Habit for your healing item in the shop, you complete the whole floor, find every secret,room, and then just almost there (about 12 - 14 pennies) you start bawling how much you failed to get Habit.
