In terms of pure shooting maybe Steph but he has a hard time getting his shot off at 6'3 and Reggie never had that problem at 6'7. If Reggie was on the Warriors with free range to shoot as many 3 pointers as he wants with no hand checking he would have doubled his production.
@@500erider I can understand people thinking Curry is a better shooter than Reggie and his numbers will be much higher at the end of his career. Yes but the 3 point shot hasnt existed forever and its become a much bigger part of the game in the 90s and even more so now so it makes sense the best 3 point shooters are from the last 2 generations of nba players.
Doggy Style so many How bout Allen Houston, Drazen Petrovic, Mark Price All three of these guys shot Career 3 point percentage in 400s. They were deadly. Glen Rice was hitting .470 one year but his long career brought his percentage to an even .400 The game has become a shooters game with the Patrick Ewing 10-12’ money ball barely used at all. I am not saying these guys of today’s game are not anything but amazing. But you simply can not compare the two side by side.
Jose Alfonso Terrero yep! He was awesome. When these guys were in the game it changed everything. It’s simply amazing to me to see people like the Lopez brothers hitting 3’s. The Flying Dutchman Rik Smits would occasionally drop a 3 and it was like a pitcher hitting a home run. It just didnt happen
I pains me to think about all of the little kids who think Dirk and Steve Nash are just skinny white boys and don't realise that they used some of the most dominant forces in the NBA.
I don't think it's even close for nr 1. People love living in the past.. Steph makes much tougher shots at a higher percentage than the only 2 players that rival him - Reggie and Allen. Allen was my favorite player growing up, but there is no question Steph is the greatest shooter we've seen.
The video did a woeful job of justifying Curry's place. He's number one even according to Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, etc. because he shoots the 3's off the dribble, off picks, catch and shoot, step back, from 28 feet, from 35 feet, and even from half court. The rest of them are great shooters but Curry made NBA defenses dance frantically to try to stop him. Whether he has the ball or not, the game revolves around his presence.
Great but I can guarantee you that wasn't your own assessment you got that off ESPN but the one thing you can't match is Larry Bird's game winning shots has Stephen Curry doesn't even come close to that
By area : 80's Bird / 90's Miller / 00's Allen / 10's Curry. NBA cahnge a lot, you can't compare. Player are becoming more and more able to shoot from the parking through the decays
How about Jason Terry where??? Remember the 2011 semis playoffs between lakers vs mavs... Can do watch the highlights most of all the raining 3s of The Jet.
Why does everyone all of a sudden hate on Steph now? Its like why you salty? Stop hating on Curry just because he's on top. Who has ever came CLOSE to 400 3's in a season? Who have we ever marveled at such 3pt skill like we do with Curry? Stop being an old head that's stuck in the ways of the past, and accept that you're witnessing a new era
I totally agree with your top 4 and the order that it is in. Steph is and should be no. 1. But his father Dell and Kevin Durant should definitely be on this top 10 list.
After having watched basketball since the 70's, to me Glen Rice was the best pure shooter I have ever seen, 3 or 2 pointers. Evidently the voters haven't watched much basketball.
Glen rice is one of my favorite pure shooters too, however Bishop, don't be blasphemous lololol... I think we're watching the best pure shooter of all time in Steph Curry no question.

Lets update that list: 400+ 3 pointers in one season 13 3 pointers in one game 43.6% career 3 pointer percentage 2000+ career 3 pointers Curry will be undisputed best if he continues in this form for 5-6 years Fun Fact: He made 402 3 pointers and 403 2 pointers in his second MVP season
1. Steph 2. Ray 3. Klay 4. Reggie 5. Korver 6. Larry( was a great three point shooter for his time but didn’t attempt as many threes as the other players on this list. Def one of the greats tho) 7. Nash 8. Kerr 9. Dirk 10. Peja Honorable mentions: KD, JJ Redick, Mark price, Paul Pierce, Dame, Harden, Dell Curry, Dražen Petrović
I'm authentic warriors fan but now way in hell Curry is better then Miller and Ray Allen. I been a fan of Ray Allen since 2006, I can tell you Ray Allen is number 1 in all-time 3 pointers made. I'm not that much of the a Reggie fan but he's fucking legit and is 2nd in 3 pointers made. Curry is still way too young, even though he has more championship than Reggie Miller that Curry that doesn't mean shit. Were talking about shooting not playoff experience or MVPs or Most championships. So Ray Allen #1, Reggie Miller #2, and Stephen Curry #3.
+Chris Aguirre Stephen Curry's lowest 3pt shooting %? .424 Seasons Ray Allen has shot that or better? 5 out of 19 Ray Allen seasons making 200 or more 3's? 5 Steph Curry 200+? 3 and he's only played 6 seasons. Ray Allen made over 250 's one time when he set the one time NBA record for 3's @ 269 on 653 attempts. Steph Curry's last 3 seasons? 272/600, 261/615, and 286/646. Curry makes more, takes less and does takes wayyy more difficult shots in the process. Steph Curry 44% for his career.. Ray Allen 40% Ray Allen can barely even shoot 44% for a season while shooting catch n shoot and taking a third of the attempts Curry takes. Curry is the greatest 3 pt shooter ever. Off the dribble, hand in his face and under pressure, from 5+ ft behind the arc, quickest release.. and he still manages to shoot 44%. Curry needs 1800 more 3's to pass Ray Allen. Even at 200 a season, well below what he is averaging now, he would still pass Ray after his 15th season... Ray Allen has played 19. Even Klay has never shot under 40% and has made 200+ 3's the last 3 seasons.. something Ray Allen only did 5 times in 19 season
4 years forward, Curry and Thompson elevated far their standing PERIOD
I agree ith the fans.
Steph Curry is easily the greatest 3-pt. shooter of all time. It's simply because he hits threes off the dribble and still makes so many.
If his health holds up, he may amass a 3pt career total, by the time that he retires, that no one will ever touch. EVER.
In terms of pure shooting maybe Steph but he has a hard time getting his shot off at 6'3 and Reggie never had that problem at 6'7. If Reggie was on the Warriors with free range to shoot as many 3 pointers as he wants with no hand checking he would have doubled his production.

" we're a little skeptical of this one " well 5 years later there's no doubt .. 11 votes separated 1 from 2 .. now it would be unanimous
Yes steph. Jesus is great in shooting, no doubt. But he had height and stuff. Steph had to lauch that ball from anywhere on the court, quick and dribble past someone at times.
Bird won 3 straight 3pts contest and in one of them without removing his warm up jacket. Enough said...
At a time when 3 point shooting wasn't as prolific nor were there enough 3 point sharp shooters like today's game
@@Ns205 Larry was the first member in the 50/40/90 club, very few people in that club.
Curry is too young And he has been in the legue for 6 yrs And im not saying curry is a bad shooter but its too early to say that he is the greatest
Alex Pihlstrom Yeah, that's kind of how we feel too. If everthing continues the way it has, he'll be in the conversation as the greatest of all time, but it's too soon to tell.
Yes though I'm a warriors fan curry would still not be like in Ray allen and those people but curry at the end of his career he will be better than Ray Allen and Larry bird Reggie miller and those people
hes also made the most three pointers on a playoff run and most in a series and tied Ray allens finals three pointers made on an off three point shooting finals for Steph he is the only player in history to get 7 threes on two consecutive finals games if he keeps going like this he will definintly beat Ray Allen in three points made with a better percentage at the end of his career but as of now he is the greatest three point shooter
Alex Pihlström he is on paper to be the best of all time at 3s
Curry is totally worthy to be no.1 on most lists
This Viewer vote thing is ridiculous. The current athletes are getting way overrated. People like rice and ellis deserve a spot.
+Kai Gardner The viewer vote rankings get pretty crazy. We've though about not doing anymore of those.
+Mixed Tape Videos that would be a shame. Because these lists show a preety good example of a sample of people, who like/love the sport. But it also shows the hype generated by some players. It's quite fun to see the results.
Keep doing the Viewer Votes. Although their lists do get crazy it's still a very good way to interact with your fans and hear their opinions.
Ginobili too
+David Marino Thank you
7 years later . curry way ahead of whoever you wanna consider second . also Klay has gone up the charts as well.
klay 2nd or third?
@@_Maxten not sure about 2nd or 3rd but definitely in more like top 5 . Way above 9th is what i meant to say. We have seen him splash 3s at some crucial moments
no Glen rice , Allen Houston, seriously??? Steve smith
Mark Price
Avery Johnson? Jason Kidd?
Robert Horry?
LARRY LEGEND
1.Curry
2.Ray
3.Reggie
4.Bird
5.Klay
6.Korver
7.Kerr
8.Dirk
9.Nash

Kerr is 3rd to Stephen and klay
I put Chris mullin in front of Klay Thompson
1. Steph 2. Curry 3. Steph curry. 4. Curry steph.
Klay ranked 9th alltime only and he's played so long in the league enough after this video was made??? That is just false ranking for him no doubt..
Peja Stojakovic amongst the top 4 best 3 point shooters of all time
No 1 for me
Better Allen
Who’s here when Klay Thompson now holds the most 3s in a game record
Now holds? You're late he's held the record over a year now
Real Nigga yea but the video is over 4 years old
14 3s record vs bulls
Sees Ray Allen's name and sits in awe of the vintage footage Chuckles then lightly claps in remembrance. *Comes back to reality* Dang, still can't believe 2015 was 4 years ago. Time flies.
ohh my young friends have no idea what NBA once was :)
Yes but the 3 point shot hasnt existed forever and its become a much bigger part of the game in the 90s and even more so now so it makes sense the best 3 point shooters are from the last 2 generations of nba players.
Doggy Style so many
How bout
Allen Houston, Drazen Petrovic, Mark Price
All three of these guys shot Career 3 point percentage in 400s.
They were deadly.
Glen Rice was hitting .470 one year but his long career brought his percentage to an even .400
The game has become a shooters game with the Patrick Ewing 10-12’ money ball barely used at all. I am not saying these guys of today’s game are not anything but amazing. But you simply can not compare the two side by side.
@@billbag3 dale ellis,
Jose Alfonso Terrero yep! He was awesome. When these guys were in the game it changed everything. It’s simply amazing to me to see people like the Lopez brothers hitting 3’s. The Flying Dutchman Rik Smits would occasionally drop a 3 and it was like a pitcher hitting a home run. It just didnt happen
I’m not insulting you but how old are you? Or how long have you been watching the nba
You forgot to mention Jeff Hornacek of the Utah Jazz... in my opinion.
Jeffrey Jose he not on any of these guys level. If anything hes missing mark price
To say Larry Bird was number 4 is ridiculous!!!
yeah,he should not be on the list

on #2 I really thought they were gonna put rondo I was like wait whaaa😂😂
+Andre Bailey I did to i was like hell naaa

stephen curry at number 1 , it s not a surprise .
6:16 Kawhi and Danny! Love what they are doing with the Raptors right now.
It be crazy if they won a championship
@@pitchblack1798 you can only imagine
I don't think it's even close for nr 1. People love living in the past.. Steph makes much tougher shots at a higher percentage than the only 2 players that rival him - Reggie and Allen. Allen was my favorite player growing up, but there is no question Steph is the greatest shooter we've seen.
ole reigstad Not yet, steph doesn't take tougher shots, most of 'em are open dude.
he doesn't take tougher shots than Ray did? lmao watch the games..
lol. we're done here
ole reigstad Thanks.
+Andrew Endy Please watch more than one season.
Great but I can guarantee you that wasn't your own assessment you got that off ESPN but the one thing you can't match is Larry Bird's game winning shots has Stephen Curry doesn't even come close to that
Ha made lebron james,
The dance master😂
Bwahahaha!
Vincent James Lebron’s better than Curry by far
the only thing lebron better at then steph is being a cry baby
Eric heeks he’s better bro
By area : 80's Bird / 90's Miller / 00's Allen / 10's Curry. NBA cahnge a lot, you can't compare. Player are becoming more and more able to shoot from the parking through the decays
Curry100%
Curry is not better than Ray Allen FUCK NO!
Yes He is Ray Allen can not do half the things curry can do
YaBoy Y STAY OFF THE DRUGS
+YaBoy Y bitch #ray is better
#ray is better
Explains y he has more threes in a season
apparently nobody over 12 years old voted
You are stupid.
Matthew R. True
Ray Allen by far best 3 pt shooter
Rick Barry
LOL
How about Jason Terry where??? Remember the 2011 semis playoffs between lakers vs mavs... Can do watch the highlights most of all the raining 3s of The Jet.
Jason Terry is definitely TOP 10
Curry
Still Ray Allen.... My favorite 3 point shooter...but on the Top.. I will go for the legendary Bird
Where’s curry
Nyahahahaha 2022 now, i know you are fans of lebron James hahahaha
Where is Peja Stojakovic and Tony Kukoc in the listings?
first of peja is 10th in the list, second tony isn't top ten
KAT and Dirk should be on here as the 2 best shooting 7-footers
Ray Allen, only Reggie Miller comes close....
Bandwagon
stephen takes lots tho. record for most missed 3s
Edward Kenway Lol, it's hard to believe anyone has missed more 3's than Kobe lol
Idk y but I see u anywhere on any video lol
Gvaak I know 😂😂😂 I comment on like everything
best 3 pt shooter Steph curry Larry 🐦 Reggie Miller / Klay Thompson
No way Thompson should be number nine. He`s much better than that.
Guess ray Allen dosent exist anymore
I agree to a certain extent
We are talking about shooters. SNIPERS, Ray Allen was.
Pistol Pete maravich the greatest
I totally agree with your top 4 and the order that it is in. Steph is and should be no. 1. But his father Dell and Kevin Durant should definitely be on this top 10 list.
Definitely not.
best shooter all time kogure hes tres monday shot friday
Lmfao
After having watched basketball since the 70's, to me Glen Rice was the best pure shooter I have ever seen, 3 or 2 pointers. Evidently the voters haven't watched much basketball.
Glen rice is one of my favorite pure shooters too, however Bishop, don't be blasphemous lololol... I think we're watching the best pure shooter of all time in Steph Curry no question.
Klay and Allen >>>>

This is Top 10 Greatest 3PT Shooters of the 21st century. Where's Glen Rice bahhhhh
Aaeon Karma I was thinking the same thing.
Exactly! That's why I gave this video a thumbs down
Glen rice was deadly but he might be on the outside looking in. Maybe 11th-12th... definitely worthy of a honorable mention
Same thought!
Lets update that list:
400+ 3 pointers in one season
13 3 pointers in one game
43.6% career 3 pointer percentage
2000+ career 3 pointers
Curry will be undisputed best if he continues in this form for 5-6 years
Fun Fact: He made 402 3 pointers and 403 2 pointers in his second MVP season
cos his greedy
he wants the ball all the tine
He only can shoot 3's. Without that shooting he not shit

8. Kerr
9. Dirk
10. Peja
Honorable mentions: KD, JJ Redick, Mark price, Paul Pierce, Dame, Harden, Dell Curry, Dražen Petrović
Stephen curry and Klay Thompson are so good but and steven kerr
Wow you guys are missing a great deal of people especially netstar Drazen Petrovic
Drazen would be in the top 3... And I would have him take the last shot rather then most of the guys on this list...RIP legend your not forgotten!!!!
Where is dell curry? Dennis Scott?
Right
Jesse Blake Add Jeff Hornacek to that list as well.
Del curry didn't shoot nearly as much 3s as these other players who there entire career still going or not are dedicated to shooting 3s.
+DarthVandigo jeff was also good and should have been on the list
+Jesse Blake bullshit
These guys are all great at the ‘Chickenshit’ line…………..aaaaaah, I mean the 3 point line.
Lmao you know 90% of viewers are bandwagons when you see Klay Thompson here and Curry #1
+Swgaster142 Lmao ikr. He will get voted first place for literally anything now if it's voted on by the public.
Who is the best defender in the league? Viewers vote: 1. Curry 2. Klay Thompson
D. Wu 3. Steve Kerr
+Username 4. Festus ezeli lol
lol, all these people complaining about the list when they specified that these were VIEWER voted.
+John Braddock Yep... even the people who made the video seems to disagree with it.
Isaac bonga willlllll be recognized I’m telling you know he will be the greatest..........
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oscar Schmidt from Brazil, the best 3 print shooter at the world.
glen rice ? chris mullin?
White men maybe can't jump but they sure can shoot !!
so what do you call blake griffin then?
He is half black and the other is white

I am talking about the movie white men can't jump
+Noah Aldabishi he's lightskin
where's Drazen Petrovic and Glen Rice? I mean, I agree with the top 3 but still.
Drazen died too early. And young voters might not know who he is
The video's skepticism on Curry aged not very well.
1. Steph curry
2. Klay Thompson
3. Ray Allen
4. Reggie Miller
5. Larry Bird
Stephen curry is my idol
All the bandwagons are voting for SC but there's no doubt he's not #1, it's way to early to decide that, he could be #1 in the future
Allen is one rn but he might be #2 soon but not now everyone just thinks he's the g.o.a.t
Chris Aguirre Yeah. The moment I read viewer voted in the title, I was like "Oh boy, who could #1 be?"
+Chris Aguirre Stephen Curry's lowest 3pt shooting %? .424
Seasons Ray Allen has shot that or better? 5 out of 19
Ray Allen seasons making 200 or more 3's? 5
Steph Curry 200+? 3 and he's only played 6 seasons.
Ray Allen made over 250 's one time when he set the one time NBA record for 3's @ 269 on 653 attempts.
Steph Curry's last 3 seasons? 272/600, 261/615, and 286/646.
Curry makes more, takes less and does takes wayyy more difficult shots in the process.
Steph Curry 44% for his career.. Ray Allen 40%
Ray Allen can barely even shoot 44% for a season while shooting catch n shoot and taking a third of the attempts Curry takes.
GilxSullinger
Oh and let me remind you that CUrry set the new record for most 3s missed in a Finals game. I don't think Ray Allen has ever done that.
+GilxSullinger not saying that Allen is better, just saying that curry's not #1 all time.
