- There is a lot packed into this tall double barrel cake, and I love all of it! In this one I show you how to use butter ganache to make a marble effect, abstract faultline technique, scratch edible glitter, horizontal texture and isomalt petals! I hope you are ready!

Mary that’s really a very neat cake. That’s the first time I have ever seen poured ganache love the flowers. I’ve never done that great job as usual. Thanks for sharing Alice.
So many techniques going on but you always make it work. I love the homemade sprinkles . The color combination is beautiful especially the gold. Definitely saving this to refer back to. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜
Beautiful! I got a similar effect by mixing some gel food colouring into granulated sugar. It looked lovely and sparkly.

Beautiful! At first glance when I saw the thumbnail I thought you did black glitter stripes with plain black stripes and the surface was flat (I was on my phone). That would be cool too!

Making our Christmas cake today (I’m Australian, we make ‘em early and “feed” them brandy every week or so), and thinking the isomalt technique would make gorgeous holly - tho I’ll probably cheat and use gum paste for the berries. Fab video again. Thanks!
