Now i feel like a fool for saving different versions of the entire project
Thanks for the tip!
Great advice. I’ve been caught a couple times on projects where something changed in the timeline. Saves me a lot of time!
Fantastic and solid one, boss. I'll embrace this going forward ❤.
Also add the date and time to your copied sequenze so you know what version it is.
i wish PP would version up on duplicates (similar to AE) instead of just adding copy01
me too!
Or, ORR!
Use git to version your files and projects.
I always do that but instead of copy paste, i name it like v1 v2 with the date of change
Easy to remember when you started and how many changes you have done
Much more organized and the way to do it for sure
Nice one Boss. Why don't you have your sequences in a bin though?
I would in bigger projects, but this example was a pretty straightforward one.
@@JavierMercedes Gotcha! I do so, and I typically follow you back to back lol so was just wondering if there's something I should know about. Thanks
If u don't there is an constant auto save. It's tricky to find but you can recover from the auto save.
Nah they use something call outs.. where the have bins and folders with dates starting with year month than day with all the big changes and one for each day.. they never do a sloppy copy like that
Thank you for the great info!
And if you still decide to make copies, at least give the files iteration numbers and a fre words to denote the changes made or about be made
