Ugh... The story is really taking a nosedive ever since Olivia was introduced. I REALLY hate these "evil for the sake of evil" characters who ONLY exist to be antagonists for the MC no matter how little sense it makes.
The saying goes that "a story is only as good as its villains" and Olivia is easily one of WORST villains I've witnessed in a story in a long time. It's absurd that an A-ranker goes to this ridiculous degree just to fuck over the MC and it makes even less sense that her vitriol was triggered by the MC using the exact same move to kill people regardless of their gender... It's fucking sad when Mike, a cliche "school bully" antagonists is the best "villain" the story has had to offer so far.
It's a shame honestly, since the setting is at least an interesting change to the typical cultivation setting without being yet another SAO "trapped in a video game" eyeroller, even if the powers are pretty much just game mechanics.

I can see your point of view, but I feel like Dark guild is the real protagonist until we get to the other monarch entities that are on a higher realm than him.

@@oxtailsoup6493 Having listened to all of the chapters uploaded for now I must say that dark guild's motives in general made absolutely no sense until the big reveal later on.
Thankfully Olivia is relatively quickly replaced with better villains. I still maintain she is the weakest character in the story by far.
