www.motelwestcoast.nl Finale concert van Motel Westcoast in de Heineken Music Hall te Amsterdam. Op vrijdag 27 april 2007 vertolkte de gelegenheidsband Motel Westcoast met topmuzikanten zoals Syb van der Ploeg, Julian Thomas, Edward Reekers, Mirjam Timmer én special guest, waaronder de westcoastband Venice, de mooiste songs uit de hoogtijdagen van de Amerikaanse Westcoast-muziek.
Naar het afsluitende concert in samenwerking met Radio 2 luisterden meer dan 1,1 miljoen mensen!

Is een prachtige song. Ik lees dat dit op meer afscheidsbijeenkomsten wordt gespeeld, terecht. Dit zegt alles over familie! Ik vond het eerder al een prachtig, betekenisvol lied, maar na het afscheid van mijn schoonvader blijft het die lading houden. Beetje jammer voor de makers dat het tegenwoordig vaker bij een afscheid wordt gespeeld, want het betekent zo veel meer!
