I'm 5'9" with a wingspan of 72". Forearm to upper arm are equal at 14 1/2". I think I'm more center post but due to experimenting with weight shift to try to hit it farther I'm not sure. Testing with my hands together and moving trail arm back my palms stay pretty much the same. I'm right hand dominant but play golf left handed. Also I'm right eye dominant. I believe that dominant side has an influence on movement and swinging patterns. My grip has been pretty much side on for my trail hand and slightly toward strong with lead hand. Any suggestions on what I should be doing to improve my swing?
@terryrowles , I watch and read everything you and Mike have out. I understand the matchups and everything. I’m an ex bodybuilder with really big shoulders legs and chest. When I use the matchups I have they never seem to work and I know a lot of it has to do with my muscle getting in the way. I’ve read mikes book laws of golf and I know I’m considered a width player but I’m more of and under golfer with center post. The width player Mike used to talk about has an on top grip closed stance and not a lot of rotation. My matchups are just all over the place with my muscle. I have hit a few drives 325 yds I just need to get the right set up to be all gas but I’m always holding back.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. 🙏🏻
Mike doesn’t use laws anymore. Big chest and arms restrict degrees of freedom. Turn chest out of the way early in backswing and most likely stand closed at address.
@@terryrowles yeah you guys use matchups and technology such as force plates etc. I’ve watched a lot of your stuff and love it. I just never really heard you guys talk about more muscle bound golfers that’s why I looked at the laws book. Thank you for the information I really appreciate it!
@terryrowles , I have a question about backswing plane. My wingspan and my height are the same length, but 2 years ago I broke one backbone in my back and now I am 4 centimeters shorter in height because of my injury. Does this affect my wingspan and height measurment, so it affects my backswing and downswing plane?

Interesting analysis Terry. Inspiring to see as a front post golfer that also has a lot of steepeners! :)
Great info Terry
Looks like a swing that Andy Plummer would like very much.
Yes very stack and tilt I did not realise this by just watching him swing
Cool video!! this is the right stuff!
