The idea that people have a right to do whatever they want shame-free is a modern idea. That's not the way it was for most of human history. The only way the no-shaming creed makes sense is if we have given up on their ability to change. Shaming people for something that is beyond their control is mean and unproductive. Is that the conclusion we have reached about fat people now? They are doomed to be fat forever and there is absolutely nothing they can ever hope to do about it?

I didn't enjoy the prequels much, I thought there was a great story in there that was badly told - sorry George - but my son did and maybe that was his 'Star Wars', and I feel blessed to have had that as another thing to bond with him over - thanks George. That's George Lucas Star Wars, and it still exists - and I can watch it any time I want - whatever these mean spirited people do with their branding iron now, so there's really nothing to let go off. It's fine, they can revel in their own shit as much as they like.

Apparently that Greek word translates to something like 'longing for a time when we felt at home' - whatever 'at home' means to you. I didn't enjoy the prequels much, I thought there was a great story in there that was badly told - sorry George - but my son did and maybe that was his 'Star Wars', and I feel blessed to have had that as another thing to bond with him over - thanks George. That's George Lucas Star Wars, and it still exists - and I can watch it any time I want - whatever these mean spirited people do with their branding iron now, so there's really nothing to let go off. It's fine, they can revel in their own shit as much as they like.
That's only the millionth time I've seen that title in a video since Disney bought Star Wars. In another ten years there will still be grifters claiming "Star Wars is dead".
