D Joe, that's not accurate. The complaints from the wr's out of practice was that Jalen does not read. He only throws to a receiver if he's wide open. There are comments from foster and Ridley available online about receivers being open and not getting the ball. It's why Saban put in tua, it was also hitting the recruiting trail that Jalen can't throw or distribute the ball. The kid is not a great qb ...simple
He is a terrible QB maybe if he was in the mountain West or Pac 12 he would be fine throwing the ball, but the complexity of defense in the SEC is just too much for him and he just doesn't have the natural tools of a QB. He shouldn't leave though because he isn't going to do any better anywhere else he goes because he will have less talent to work with than alabama. He might as well become a running back his instinct as a rusher is miles ahead of his passing and his vision is great! Coming from an Auburn fan I agree with Kirk Herbstreit. This is by far the best coaching job Saban has done since he's been there. With all the season ending injuries and small injuries, he had to go to the bench and coach those young players up. Shutting down a good Clemson offense and a 2nd half performance against UGA and putting in a freshman in the biggest game. I wish Malzahn could make big time adjustments in big time games. 1-4 in big games is no adjustments

Coming from an Auburn fan I agree with Kirk Herbstreit. This is by far the best coaching job Saban has done since he's been there. With all the season ending injuries and small injuries, he had to go to the bench and coach those young players up. Shutting down a good Clemson offense and a 2nd half performance against UGA and putting in a freshman in the biggest game. I wish Malzahn could make big time adjustments in big time games. 1-4 in big games is no adjustments
