- Some Ozempic and Mounjaro users are dealing with severe side effects after using the injections for weight loss. A new lawsuit is suing the makers of the drugs for a “failure to warn” patients about the risks of stomach paralysis but one local doctor says the claims are unfounded and not backed by research.
i am a diabetic taking monjaro. It has been a game changing drug for me but i do hate the nausea and vertigo. I have seen nutritionists in the past i wish it was as easy as changing my diet with willpower alone. this drug has killed my appetite so i finally have self control
2 weeks on and Experienced excruciating pains headaches , nausea in second week.
Had diarrhea for a week. I wanted to go to the ER but I was too embarrassed. Wanted to call 911 but I was too embarrassed with diarrhea all over the bed, floor, me, the walls, it was a crappy nightmare. My kidneys almost shut down. I was drinking water but it was not going through my kidneys.
I just went from 2.5mg to 5mg and since increasing the dose, I've experienced exactly what you've described, except I also had vomiting (last night). I'm unsure what to do at this point. Did you end up going to the ER? Did you stop taking Mounjaro? I could really use some advise, and I would contact my primary care physician, except that their office is closed on the weekend. 😢

What research? This just became widely used for weight loss last year.
It's a drug for diabetes that people are using for off the record weight loss

@@Abc-li1ij What do you mean? If you are asking how I got prescribed Ozempic is because I have type 2 and was taking Metformin and I have to be carrying it in my pocket which made a lot of noise, and I ask to be on it.
He said "fairly safe". Not so confident Mr doctor
I had/have chronic diarrhea. I had diarrhea March 3rd and 4th I also had a week after 11/12 and again 20th and 21st. My first time nausea/ diarrhea and crazy stomach pain stomach bubbles if you will, the following two time diarrhea and bubbles. Absolutely affected my life I just stopped immediately
This stuff needs taken off the market now!!!!
People just need to get control over the trash they put in their mouth and stop wanting a quick fix while still not changing their lives.

The Ozempic has really helped me, I have type 2 diabetes and it helps control your craving for sugar which is extremely hard to fight. After eating a healthy meal I would be hungry again in just a few mins from the type 2 diabetes messing with me. I take the injections very cautiously paying attention to what my body is telling me, like I started off with 0.25 milligrams and I took it for quite a while before I had to ramp it up to 0.50 milligrams. I am almost on 1 milligram and it’s been quite a while but it does help with unnecessary cravings that come with type 2 diabetes
This is why I don’t like taking anything new
I take Mounjaro for the diabetic benefits, and I felt a little occasional queezieness for the first couple weeks. My doctor told me all about the side effects of using this drug before he started me on it. If you get this drug without a doctors supervision, then you get what's coming to you.
