Name one weight loss drug that wouldn't be considered a problem
Amphetamines
Exercise
Caffeine?
@@NekoNebula1313 Exercise does not work for people who have diabetes.
Everyone wants an easy way for everything 🙄
Don't you? That is the dumbest comment ever...
It's not the medication, it's the emergence of unresolved trauma issues that the food was suppressing.
Baby i think this is why i eat so much!!
Stop stop stop
It's not the drug, it's the person. I managed my eating while taking one of the medication and I'm healthy. Lost weight over 8 months and my A1C has dropped from 6.8 to 5.8. Healthy meals and exercise helped in my success.
@@suerob09Come on now….everyone is different. 😊
Yeah, it's unfortunate how few people understand this.
Im on Wegovy. Everyone on it keep saying how it cured their binge eating and obsessive thoughts on food but I feel gaslighted cuz nothing changed with me. Yes I feel full all the time but those obsessive thoughts are still VERY MUCH there and I find myself "craving" to binge eat even when Im achingly full. My food psychiatrist told me that it doesnt matter if you're on Ozempic, wegovy, or even have weight loss surgery, if you dont cured your mindset than you will never lose weight in the long term.
That's a psychological issue
I am the same. I can be so full, I am in pain but will still keep binging 😢
Amazing you need to go to a doctor to find that out
@@23ButanedioneSo have it on UA-cam where ppl can go your account sooo u continue to be negative on every comment 🙄 for all we know you! U could be 700lb and living in ur momma’s basement 🙄🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Sooooo Sick of Weight Worries...
WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT
Well, actually, the medication cured her binge eating disorder, but she got anorexia, which is an extremely dangerous disease that kills lots of women in America every year
The medication was created for diabetic patients. Thats one reason there was a shortage. They are not looking at a Patients mental health. The are looking for a bigger profit.
It's not a disease it's a mental condition
When Ozempic was first introduced I asked my doctor about it. I’m diabetic but not obese, maybe 10 pounds overweight. She said that the side effects were not all known yet and wouldn’t prescribe it for me. Glad she didn’t
Your doctor is a keeper.
There aren't any real side effects except low blood sugar
Look people, binge eating, emotional eating, obsessing over food…..these are EATING DISORDERS as well!!!! So tired of the sympathy people have for those starving themselves because of a mental disorder but none for those who over consume because of the same mental disorders.
for some people this med helps the binge eating, and they will need to stay on it like some people need to stay on antidepressants for life.
I give you my sympathy.
Well it's because they want to blame us. Not that we were abused as kids ans needed the food to make the dopamine that we aren't getting/ or can't recieve .
It's because it's infinitely more difficult to starve then it is to INDULGE
@@23Butanedione -That’s not true at all. If you’re in this type of mental head space, whichever way you go is torture. I’ve watched love ones struggle with both. What people who are healthy mentally don’t get is there is no pleasure in binge eating. It’s done as punishment the same way starving yourself is. There is this self loathing aspect that is present. Don’t think for one minute that one is “easier” than the other or that one is worse than the other.
There are no shortcuts to get what you want . I dont think anyone will ever learn .
There ABSOLUTELY is shortcuts for almost everything in life
I was wondering when this would hit mainstream news. Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be the only issue.
Waaaaah give me meds that fix all my problems
@@23ButanedioneU NEED IT BECAUSE EVERY COMMENT U R TROLLING 🙄 IM GOING TO REPORT U TO UA-cam
@@Yah-Yah733 reported
A quick-weight-loss wonder drug might have some adverse side-effects? SAY IT ISN'T SO!!
It cured my binge eating disorder, so... I lost 100 pounds in 8 months and have kept it off for a year. And most important, my blood sugar is finally normal. No medication will affect all people the same.
Congratulations on taking the easy way out
It's almost like you could have fixed that you whole life with diet and exercise
@@23Butanedione congrats on doing things the hard way.
@@23Butanedione What's easy? you still have to put the work in, it doesn't just fall off. And I'll say it again... that is the dumbest comment ever!
I took ozempic 6 doses and was so ill, couldn’t eat, lost consciousness in a fall suffering several injuries and needed trauma surgery. Very bad experience
Because you didn't do the proper dosage 😂😂
@@ugandahater And that's funny to you?
@@same5952yes
I met a very attractive lady around 50 years old, with a very nice figure, her skin looked healthy and young. She was actually quite beautiful. She did these injections. Months later she looked like she was in her late 60's to 70's. She had a lot of loose skin (appeared to have had severe muscle atrophy) with a lot of wrinkles on her face (around the eyes, lips, cheeks, and neck) and body (her arms and legs). And her skin lost that healthy young look. She looked severely aged.
The doctor recommended I take this drug! I need a new doctor.
Yes you do.
He probably knew the truth that you have no will power and realized this was the only way you can stop eating like a piggypiggypig
Depends on if you are Overweight to obese.
Are you going to stop eating sugar and simple carbs and fast food?
Discipline is better than any drug
Yes! But big pharma wants us to rely on them. There's no profit for them in our self discipline
Discipline is not the entire solution for weight. It's in there, but it's not the only factor.
Are doctors explaining the effects and drug mechanism to patients? A lot of people seem to be very under-informed about how and why the medication should be used
"Doctors" want to sign that script and make that commission. Glorified dope dealers
@@Cooper906outdoor Exactly right! Legal drug dealers. It's on patients to educate themselves on side effects, pros and cons.
It’s a diabetic medication, it’s called Ozempic just think what it does to your liver😮
Nothing really.
Thyroid also.
@@ugandahatercorrect it doesn't really affect the liver at all
I was on Ozempic and it gave me bad side effects.
I've been on it for almost a year for diabetes and have not lost a lb. I've never had any side effects either.
False for me. I maintained my weight and i eat much healthier. I eat lesser and made me much better having control on what to eat and when. Yes you get urges your human but you must self control. Ive been on it for 1 years and been off for 1 year and doing very well!
They should only prescribe that drug for what it was intended for.
That drug should be pulled from the market.......
@@birdlover-zu7ezwhy? Because it works?
There is always something over the decades, until a few years later it makes you permanently bleed from your butt or some other horrific side effect....
When i took my wellness course the thing that stands out the most is fad diets, which is dangerous and necessary stress.
Except keto which works, the only way to lose weight is a calorie deficit. Doesn't matter what macros you eat, you could eat 1800kcal of butter
Oprah recommends it. 😂🤦♀️ that should be a 🚩
No she didn't. She said she's taking.
Just making stuff up now.
@@stephaniejames4940 OK, go back to shleep 🤣🤡
It's helped many people
Anyone report eye issues?
Good 4 U, but as a diabetic this won't work. You are always planning your next meal to avoid sugar imbalance
Science suggests otherwise
@@ugandahaterthis person's a diabetic dude, they are clueless
Just get on lizzo 😊
There are no shortcuts to weight loss. More exercise and better eating habits or just call it a day.
There absolutely is shortcuts to weight loss
#Sad 😢
but the motto says, eat 3 meals a day, and these portions, and these foods are healthy for you, embryotic and nursing fluids, and the common foods that are half preservatives, additives and everything has added sugar in it. the nation with stockpiles of mre type foods, and always worried.
It changes the brain too????!!!!😮
Nature Bats Last.
We knew this
Also it seems to me that there has to be a point whereby the individual gets himself off the drug and normalizes. I say himself but isn't it more often herself? But it seems many people just keep on it like it's vitamins instead of a drug with side effects. Perhaps it's more like a pacifier at some point and they don't want to lose that comfort.
RIP
Hair loss?
Perhaps they should try smoking and Mini-Thins with a cup of strong coffee.
I just got home from the gym. Stop being lazy, eat a salad & take a walk.
Someone ate their sour grapes today.
@gingerredshoes diabetics that can't get their meds are pretty sour, you're just uninformed.
Oh please! There’s always that one guy who says this. Seriously doubt you went to the gym or had a salad.
@Junkinsally I did both today. Enjoy your pringles.
@@gingerredshoeswhy are you mad? Too lazy to walk tuby? You’re using a medication for diabetics. And you aren’t diabetic? Selfishness at its finest. Why even care about your body if you’re past 30. No one’s gonna want you after that 😂
Just put the fork down
So let me get this straight. They are recommending someone obese enough to qualify for the drug be screened for anorexia or bulemia. Huh???
You can have anorexia and bulemia and have a big body. Thinking otherwise is a common misconception that leads to a whole demographic slipping through the cracks of care. In fact, society encourages it, praising people in big bodies who stop eating or become obsessive about calorie intake.
How about instead of huh huh huhing your way around the internet you actually just, like, look up either of those?
People can have a history of a condition that makes them more susceptible to having it re-emerge.
@@lydia1634waaaah who will think of the rotund people
I need me a burger 😂
Going from binge eating to anorexia. Interesting.
There is no IF or MAY. Like… they will worsen.
DONT FORGET TO GET VACCINATED
I thought being fat was beautiful?
people could just start IF, and that would start to diminish your hunger over time.
She still looks pretty chunky to me
Shame on you!
