I ran into Steve at the Best Buy in San Rafael California two years. I had to stop him as he walked by to thank him for his music, and to tell him his voice was magic, and the #1 voice of all lead singers from the 70's to then. He was a complete gentleman and put both hands over his heart and thanked me. Not only a great singer/performer, but a class act as a human. Thank you Steve!
Yes you are totally correct, he does have a daughter and I heard that interview myself on UA-cam but he didn't really overly go in depth and detail about her as he was trying to keep her more private and not people being in their personal business which was actually really cool of Steve to do and protective as well. His voice along with the pation he includes in every song. Makes him #1 on my list and in my heart. The song Open Arms was the song that perfectly described the relationship between my husband and I. It was "our song". We were going to make it our first dance on our 40th wedding anniversary. We planned to renew our vows. Unfortunately the only true love of my life passed before we could. I listen to Journey constantly. Pulling out old records. I hope he continues his solo career. His voice is as strong and emotional as ever. His fans seem to be continuous. I'm 58 surviving a brain aneurysm no one thought I could. Even the surgeon gave me a 50/50 chance. Meeting him is at the top of my bucket list. It's a crazy idea that will never happen. It's great to think about anyway. All the best to him for a long uncomparable life of song. He's a star in the sky we love to admire.

Wow! Steve is the same age as my mom. A singer who has a magical voice , also, is Jodi Benson. She's mostly known as the voice of Ariel in Disney's - The Little Mermaid. Jodi Benson has been performing the song, "Part of Your World" for over 30 years. She guards her voice carefully by eating very healthy. Only drinking water, no coffee, no sodas, no alcohol. Her voice quality is just as beautiful as it was over 30 years ago. Jodi has been married for over 20 years. She was almost afraid to have children as it definitely changes a womans singing voice. She had 2 babies, had to work at getting her voice back up in quality. She sings so beautiful! As a side benefit of her very healthy life habits, she still is so beautiful, has a youthful glow She has made many appearances at birthday parties, wedding receptions, Disney Con. She sings at special events because she loves sharing her vocal ability, no money involved. I don't know if Steve Perry has guarded his vocal abilities or not. Such a great voice!

I totally agree with you and I think for rock singers he should be in the top five for sure as I have always left his voice so I totally agree. Also the narrator of these videos doesn't always get everything spot on but I like watching them anyway and I am not familiar with the journey album evolution but I didn't hear him say infinity which was the first album that Steve was on so sometimes the narrator doesn't always get things right but still appreciate all the videos anyway.

I’m familiar with ReBanda. I worked with Roland at SOS. I now drive for Upstaging. I worked the 2018 stadium tour that Journey did with Def Leppard.

Wow! Steve is the same age as my mom. A singer who has a magical voice , also, is Jodi Benson. She's mostly known as the voice of Ariel in Disney's - The Little Mermaid.
Jodi Benson has been performing the song, "Part of Your World" for over 30 years. She guards her voice carefully by eating very healthy. Only drinking water, no coffee, no sodas, no alcohol. Her voice quality is just as beautiful as it was over 30 years ago.
Jodi has been married for over 20 years. She was almost afraid to have children as it definitely changes a womans singing voice. She had 2 babies, had to work at getting her voice back up in quality. She sings so beautiful!
As a side benefit of her very healthy life habits, she still is so beautiful, has a youthful glow
She has made many appearances at birthday parties, wedding receptions, Disney Con. She sings at special events because she loves sharing her vocal ability, no money involved.

I totally agree with you and I think for rock singers he should be in the top five for sure as I have always left his voice so I totally agree. Also the narrator of these videos doesn't always get everything spot on but I like watching them anyway and I am not familiar with the journey album evolution but I didn't hear him say infinity which was the first album that Steve was on so sometimes the narrator doesn't always get things right but still appreciate all the videos anyway.
Jimmy Jamison the front man for Survivor should have also been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Jimmy also had a beautiful amazing voice, sadly, He has passed away. It is sad that He passed at 63 without His rightful place in the music industry. R.I.P Jimmy Jamison from Survivor. You may be gone, but your songs and beautiful voice still remain in the hearts of all those who knew and loved you...❤
