    So inspiring to see how long you came in your journey. I'm truly happy for you regrowing your hair, and for always sharing tips and experiences with the community.

    I started watching your videos in 2017 when I first got Alopecia at 33 years old, it was the most traumatic experience, your advice on stress, food and AiP diet have given me control over it (along side steroid injections). Totally get the PTSD thing too! I feel like I panic as soon as I have a lot of hair shedding. Thank you so much for sharing. Its been so helpful!

    Thank you for sharing your experience through alopecia... since being diagnosed last year its been rough ups and downs and alot of insecurities with hair loss then regrowth then loss then regrowth etc... no one understands or can relate unless they've experienced it also... i so appreciate your videos on your journey. God bless you.

    Just found your channel & I just wanted to thank you for sharing your tips with us. I love your content. I found my first bald spot in 2018 and lost practically all my hair in 2019. Finally experienced growth after delivering my son in June 2019 and was down to 4 bald spots on the top of my head (so excited!) until I noticed new spots that are growing rapidly. Your story gives me hope that my hair will grow back for good! Thank you so much ❤️ Following you in IG too now.

    You’ve been my biggest inspiration on this journey that’s showed me that it is possible to grow back your hair with a healthy lifestyle. What were your biggest food triggers and how did you know?

      I can’t say I know for sure but I think intuitively you can get a sense. I believe it was gluten primarily as well as dairy & soy

      I did have a food sensitivity test which listed those amongst other things but I could tell it was primarily those things as I can feel the difference in my body when I consume too much of those things

    I had three totally balls patches on the back of my head and one bald patch on each side of my head, near my ears. I'm having trouble with the regrowth on the top front of my head. I just wanted to let you know that you are truly inspiring and your videos encourage me.
    Thanks to my head injections from my dermatologist and a few essential oils, the balls patches are filling in on the back and sides of my hair. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

    I had huge patches at age 25. I’m 41 now and still have them once in a while but I also have hashimoto. It’s a real curse. Ptsd was a good one. 2-3 months after a severe stressful episode in my life I see these ugly patches in my head. Im going to try AIP next. Sick of it.

    Back in March I had the corona virus so 3 moths later I noticed in my hair brush that my hair was coming out in chunks as I brush it.... especially in the shower everytime I would shower it would come out in clumps. My doctor took blood tests and said that there were no vitamin deficiency so I’m assuming it could be “telogen effluvium” which is a stress related event or sickness that occurred months ago and side effects can be different for everyone which can result in hair loss....... but when you noticed you had alopecia did you completely lose all your hair and when did you notice a stop in hair shedding ?

    • @DeepaBerar
      @DeepaBerar  4 роки тому +1

      So I lost 70% of my hair within 5 months. I started trying a bunch of natural things about a month after I noticed all of the hair fall that was happening and that it was out of the norm. It stopped falling out and started growing back in at the end of the 5 months of shedding.

    Have you ever done an acv rinse or hair mask? If so how often did you do it and would you recommend it? Currently doing a lot of what you talked about in this video...My dermatologist told me to do a Apple Cider Vinegar hair mask/rinse to help with my irritated scalp that I got with my alopecia.

    I do not have patches; I have hair loss and thinning all over; it’s super hard to apply products because it’s not just one patch, it’s the entire thing. I have gone to a trichologist and I’m not noticing any difference almost halfway the treatment. :/

    Very inspiring journey, keep up the good work!
    I've been diagnosed with psoriasis & seborrhoeic dermatitis some years ago. And lately I've been experiencing quite aggressive hair-loss, although I don't have any patches on the top of my head, only on the lower part, near my ears, where the hair is totally fine. Do you think the hair-loss and psoriasis might be connected, if yes, what would you suggest doing?
    Thank you for your help in advance!

    • @DeepaBerar
      @DeepaBerar  4 роки тому

      Hi! Yes they are both autoimmune disorders. When you have 1 you are more susceptible to developing others so it’s so incredibly important to get in tune with and heal your body. I believe autoimmune issues are a sign that something is out of balance.

    Thank you for your video - again! I would be really interested in your AIP experience, how did you start, what was the best and worst etc. I have heard others talking about AIP and hair loss/growth, some say its helpful, some say it did not help. So I would really like to hear some more details about your AIP journey. Nowadays I dont have any hair. But I believe that I can reverse it. :) Thank you!
