I have been using Jamaican black castor oil on my lashes pretty diligently for about a year. (Every night, except for one month.) Every night I take one drop and rub it in. I also have done the same with my brows. For me personally I haven't noticed any lengthening, but I do think my lashes are a bit thicker and stronger. No difference in my brows. Just thought I'd share. Seems to work really well for others based on comments.

What if the oil gets inside our eyes??? I used Rosemary oil and it got into my eyes and it is burning my eyes
@@cruxlin5142 I've heard castor oil can help prevent cataracts but not sure if that's true. So assume it's not dangerous. I don't know about rosemary oil; haven't heard of anyone using that. I wouldn't use that. Hope you can rinse that out

Mines is growing rapidly with the mix of castor oil and Vaseline. Castor oil to make them full thick and stronger and Vaseline to make them long length
Yasss that's the best combo, I drop a bit of cold press olive oil too AND BOOM

@@shialanoix4645 well extra Virgin olive oil, sorry the olives are cold press so all the things you need get extracted and so on, just find the most natural olive oil AND BOOM

@@cleo5079 honestly after three days my bottom lashes began to grow alot. You need to get like a mascara brush and like comb them out, that way all the lashes get some product as well as rub some product on the lash line! And no problem I hope you see results soon! I have like 3 weeks with it and my lashes have grown a bit more, I hope your journey is just as great!
Everything I read says it takes 4 weeks minimum to see results so a 7 day challenge may be very minimum results at best
I'm constantly testing new methods and products for eyelash growth so I finally gave castor oil a go which is a natural method. This is my before and after from one week of using castor oil on my eyelashes every evening. I'm looking forward to seeing more results over the next few weeks!

Here's a tip: When applying anything to your face, i.e. makeup, RELAX your forehead. Women seem to always wrinkle their foreheads when applying mascara. Do this for 20 years and you will have a forehead full of wrinkle lines. Look at minute 3:52 and you'll see what your forehead will look like in twenty years. Your face is beautiful! Collagen tablets also help grow lashes.

You are naturally beautiful, if you don't mind my saying! Just started doing this again, so I thought I'd get motivated. I can attest from a past attempt that it definitely lengthens the lashes. I hadn't realised how much, until I came to apply mascara. I was blown away by the lengthening effect. I use the Sunny Isle original JBC. I used the extra dark 1st time, but wanted the regular, as you don't get the shine from the dark, apparently, and I wanted to also use it on my hair. Does make your eyes blurry! And yet you can get castor oil eye drops, which relieve a lot of eye problems.
i apply it with a clean spooley. i did try massaging in but it irritated my actual eyeball which wasnt good.
Just buy the castor oil,I can't wait to see the result and be happy with my natural eyebrows 😻😻
I’ve used caster oil and coconut oil on my eyebrows and lashes, my lashes don’t fall out. Results are great at first and fade as you use it. My eyebrows are definitely a little fuller but still very thin
I’ve been using it for two months and have honestly seen no difference on my eyelashes 🙄 guess mine are at their maximum length!

Definitely don't use it as an eye cream as it may cause sensitivity if you use it for a long time. Use a clear mascara wand and make sure most of the product is going in your roots 👍

Maybe be more gentle when youre using it if you use ur hand you can just swoop it to your eyelash and then spread around the roots dont rub it back and forth tho

It is a bit heavier of an oil. Just losing one or two eyelashes a day is normal, but if it’s much more perhaps don’t use it 😅

I use that amount or more for almost a year now, and I have not experienced any issues. Castor oil seems is generally beneficial for eyes or at least not harmful, unless u are allergic haha

If it burns your eyes, that means that the oil is not 100% natural or fragrances were added. I have gotten oil in my eyes plenty of times but the only thing I have experienced was blurred vision. It’s not harmful at all. If your eyes burn, try using oil that is 100% natural with no fragrances added

I am using castor oil the brand is wells i had used this brand before then got so lazy and stop using.After a huge gap I have started again regularly but while i am applying or massaging direct castor oil my brows and lashes are breaking its getting long also breaking as well why this is happing with me? I dont know why. Same brand using for my hair with mustered oil getting good result 0 hairfall and lots of baby hair.

From what you said you may be using too much and getting it into your eye. Or you may be allergic.i would try doing a patch test on your arm and wait and see if it gets irritated to be safe
Same here, my eyes burned and I couldn't even open them.
Maybe try using less, put the caster oil on like you would put on eye liner since it’s the lash line. Don’t try to rub your eyes since if you’re putting them on your lashes, it could get into your eyes :-)
it can possibly be an allergy or using too much. Another factor can be the quality of the oil try using a higher quality castor oil.

It does sting 😭😭😭😭 ive been using castor oil for 2 years now it has worked miracles on my lashes JUST make sure to not apply TOO much :). U can add the oil into an emty mascara bottle and apply on ur lashes after removing the excess! ^_

Can someone help me because I use cold press castor oil from the brand heritage store and I also tried a certified organic one and I’ve been using it for a week and my eyelashes have been falling out like 5 of them a day and with a little tug on my eyelashes it breaks off. I bought castor oil recently and i use an eyebrow spoolie to apply the oil into my lashes. In the morningc I don’t wear mascara, i put vaseline on my eyelashes instead because it makes my lashes feel strong ‘ and visible ‘
maybe use vitamin e oil along with coconut oil with the castor oil; watch the way you are applying it. Your eyelashes are delicate so don’t rub your eyes as much throughout the day as well

My suggestion is get a mascara brush. You can buy new ones off amazon.
