This is the best channel I’ve found in ages. The low quality video production just adds to it, nothing worse than Vox-tier videos talking about punk. Keep it up bro
@@marc3d establishment media aimed at millennials and gen-x. It was a random example I pulled out of my ass, VICE would be a better example. You get the idea, Tome is very DIY which fits in with the subject matter he covers. Whereas paying some LA trust fund kids to talk about punk doesn’t.
I was at the show Pennywise played the same night of the Love Lines incident(I seem to recall that Fletcher sprayed the Love Lines studio with vomit) at the Shrine Auditorium with Offspring. My memory is a bit hazy though, so anyone who was else was there can correct me if I'm wrong. Fletcher was totally hammered, a dude almost died from diving into the crowd from the upper level, it was pure chaos.
I met Fletcher years ago after a Pennywise show while he was giving sobriety a try. He was the most chill dude. Very friendly and really easy to talk to. Might be the type of guy whose personality does a complete 180 when he's drunk.
Cheers from Orange County California,, depends on,, the who, so you were obviously chill,, I've met him a few times, always great.. I'm also not young.. 50, they played the Ink N Iron festival in Long Beach CA, when I was production assistant.. Been laughing at the footage
I watched Fletcher beat the dog shit out of some kid at Mohawk in Austin. OFF! was onstage playing "Jeffrey Lee Peirce" and some kid was talking shit about the song. Keith didn't like that so much, but I think Fletcher was angrier. He jumps off stage headed right for him and put him to sleep.
Fletchers a good dude. He does get a little rambunctious when you add booze and you’re never sure if you’re going to jail but it’s memorable for sure. All n all he’s a nice guy.
Saw Pennywise in Mesa, AZ back in ‘93 or ‘94 and he was so drunk he kept tripping over all of the cords on stage and unplugging sound and lights. They said they’d be back for a free show as an apology and never came back for it. Guy ruined the show by himself. Love Pennywise but Fletcher is an embarrassment. Hopefully he is better now.
At San Diego Warped 97' Pennywise's he was so drunk. He kept shit talking all the ska bands after every song. Jim had to say sorry a few times cause he was messing up songs. I thought he'd have been at an AA meeting the next day cause he embarrassed himself in front of a large crowd but no. They even had the nerve to cover Minor Threat's song "Minor Threat". I always passed on seeing them again. Tome, you put together a good video regardless of the band. I enjoy your content.
I love fletcher but that shit gets old after a while, you're not 18 anymore big man, nothing cool in being in your fifties and trying to impress teenagers by doing stupid shit like that, I guess i'm not punk anymore.
YOu missed the part where he went on the radio show loveline and held them hostage and they had to call the police on him -- there's security camera footage from the show online.

Nothing but a high school jock from the 80's...

Fletchers the man

I've never really been much of a Pennywise fan, but this was awesome. This guy is an absolute unit.

I adore Fletchy so much. This is a fun video 😆

Damn that was entertaining. Must have been sober every time I saw pennywise lol
Another good video, thanks!
That child is heavily in need of attention. Awwww, bless! 🙂
The guitar tech at 4:07 😂"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo"

Jock Rock
I love Fletcher 😂😂
Good video caralho!
Between Fletcher and Duane Peters
The real punk scene died in the mid 80s and then after that all these other bands came along and were just keeping the nostalgia going
Yes 💯🙌🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for this! I'm a die hard Pennywise fan!
Doesn't mention his drunk driving which he has done and destroyed cars and property and scared the fuck out of many passengers

The guy would break me in half since he is double my weight. Which is not too cool. And his band...not too punk, more a pop band

Another boring, violent relic. Joking doesn't excuse it. Be aggressive against the bad.
He's a jock, not a punk.
He's punk as fuck.
Wtf?
Correct... dicks like him used to beat up real punks at high school in the 80's!!
Not really he never gave a shit about sports he may look like it but he is not
There's certainly nothing punk about attacking people.
