My daughter loves cows and asked me to make her a fluffy crochet cow. I showed her literally every crochet cow available on youtube and she liked yours more than any other one. I'm making it for her for Christmas. Thank you from both of us!💙😍🥰🙏
Awwwww!!! Ohmygosh that's seriously so sweet! I hope she loves her Christmas gift! And if you have any questions please leave another comment or message me on Instagram and I'd be super happy to help! 💕💕💕
awww! you're too sweet💕💕💕! I'm so glad you like my videos!! (crying rn cause im so happy to hear you say that!😭♥) please keep me updated! And if you follow me on Instagram please tag me or dm me photos when you're done!!!
Sharing with all my crochet friends, I’m hooked! I love that it’s free! Thank you so much and I’ll try to get you up a few subs (telling everyone I know to subscribe to u)
Hello, new subscriber here. This is so cute and will be next on my hook. I can’t wait to explore your other makes. Two things.. what is the brand of wrist guards you are using.? And if I can make a recommendation, I don’t mind the music but I think it should be much lower as it is very distracting over your soft voice. Won’t stop me from watching but for my learning style, it’s too noisy. I hope this is taking as constructive criticism as. Can’t wait to make this. Thank you.
Hii! Welcome! Thank you so much for letting me know about the music! I tried to turn it down as low as I could, I'll make sure to increase my voice volume in my future videos! I got my gloves from Walmart, they're "Equate Compression Glove, Black, One Size" they come in 1 per pack, so I bought 2 packs! I hope you have fun making your highland cow, and if you have any other questions please lmk!
I don't lol😂! I just feel the stitches with my fingers! But I've heard that you can crochet a light weight acrylic along side it (so like crochet the fur yarn and the acrylic together) and it helps to see the stitches better! Then at the end fluff out your fur yarn so you can't see the acrylic yarn.
No, don't apologize, I'm happy to help! The reason it's 8 stitches instead of 6 is because you're repeating the (sc, dec) 4 times instead of 6 times! So basically its 12 stitches in the Rnd minus 4 dec, which leaves 8 stitches in at the end of the rnd! I hope that makes sense! If not, please let me know!
Is there any way you could make a tutorial for the original because the original was amazing and I don’t want to sound rude but I’m not really a fan of this version but if it is not possible then that’s ok but I just haven’t found any highland cow tutorials or patterns as good as the original one that you made! 🫶
@@beardeddragonfern no no! You aren't being rude! But it is the same exact pattern. I just used a different yarn in the video. I did list the original cow materials in the description. If you use those materials and follow the tutorial you should have a cow that matches the picture!💕
@@CrochetByEmpanada oh sorry I thought it was a different pattern than the original because the nose looked bigger and the eye placement looked different but I think it was probably me paying too much attention to little details but your crochet is amazing!
I completely understand the confusion! The reason the nose looks bigger is because the fuzzy yarn I used in the video was 2 weight sizes smaller than the original. So because of the yarn proportions, it doesn't balance out the same! If you use a weight 7 fuzzy/fur yarn, it will balance out correctly! Hopefully this helps, and if you have any more questions please let me know! ♥♥
Ok thank you and I keep saying your crochet is amazing but it really is because when I first saw the short of the orange/ginger cow I thought that it wasn’t crochet because it looked so amazing
I'm so sorry, I don't currently sell any physical plushies, only my patterns! but if you try to crochet your own and you have any questions please please ask! I would be happy to help you! 💕💕
It probably has to do with what yarn you used or maybe your yarn tension! I hope you still love him tho! Just think, a bigger plushie is more cuddly! ♥
Yes, thank you for letting me know, someone else has said the same thing! I've made sure to increase my speaking volume and decrease the music volume in my recent videos and will continue to do so in the future!

how do you see the stitches

The front legs are a little confusing for me how does sc,Dec make it 8 wouldn't it make it 6 sorry just asking

how many skeins of the premier faux yarn did you use?
About 2 skeins of the Bunny yarn. Make sure you get the Bunny and not the Little bunny yarn, they are not the same!
@ thank you!!
