    Ive had mine for 3 years and it works great. I use it all the time. The unit is solid and the dome does not break.

    I love my nuwave. I use it everyday. It cooks from frozen, it Browns, cooks fast, the food taste good. I decided to try my turkey in the nuwave this year. I was a little scared but thought it would be great to be able to use my oven for other things. After 15 min. A lb. Of a fresh turkey, it came out beautiful. Juicy and taste great. My daughter ask me to buy her one for xmas, which I did but the newer version which has a keep warm setting. Btw.. 8 min. On bacon if you like it crispy. No butter grilled cheese for 3 min. Per side. Fries for 8. No oil, taste great. Fish sticks 7 per side. Chicken thighs13-15 per side, skin crisps up nicely. Burgers, dogs, fish. Ive made steak in there but honestly, I rather grill it. Whole chicken, cookies, Home made and frozen pizza. Also, reheated food taste so much better in the nuwave than the mirco. It doesn't heat up the house. It's a little big which was annoying at first but we got use to it fast.

      Carol Marra I've been using the NuWave for years, now. It's great. I virtually use it everyday. I purchased the newest version this past Christmas and gave my older model to my daughter. I love this one even more. And, you're right on the cooking times. I also cook frozen, breaded shrimp in only a few minutes. Garlic bread done in 3-4 minutes. No preheating. No hot kitchen.

    Up date on my Nuwave oven review.It does everything it is advertised it says it will do and in most cases better than in the standard house oven,I rarely use my stove at all anymore,it makes you a great cook,the only problem is the dome cracking,I have used mine with the cracks and don't notice any less cooking use I can't cook without it.

    Thank you for this video and comments below. My friend bought one and never used it and gave it to me. I'm going to use it then give it back to her b/c she is single and could use a healtheir dit and I know the onlt reason she doesn't cook at home is because she thinks it is difficult. I will do my due diligence and get her on the right track thank you NuWave!

    The #1 complaint was the dome cracking and the company not replacing it, next issue was the over-priced shipping gouging for the unit and the "freebies" they sock you with S&H when buying from the company. Buy it on Amazon or other local store, and be sure to get the yellow dome which the company has finally rectified & upgraded, to address all the cracking complaints. It is a great cooker now with the yellow dome!

      Bob originalmedic, you are right! I bought mine when they first came out. The dome lasted about 2 years and it cracked. The unit still good so I thought about buying the dome but it was so expensive that I decided to buy a new one instead. I bought the one with the yellow dome let's see how long will last. I have no regrets buying the first one. Have a nice Holiday!!

    Just bought one today on Black Friday. My teenager made grilled cheese sandwiches and they were the best he ever had. Plus the crunch sounds ridiculously awesome. He used regular wonder bread and shredded cheddar nothing special.

    Strange. After a quick google search, I found the #1 complaint is the dome cracking. It usually happens within 6 months, some longer. The cheaply made plastic dome doesn't stand up to the heat. S&H charges are way overpriced. Customer Service worthless. These were the other things people were not happy with.

    • @drawnhere

      The orange dome resolves that issue. You have to buy the one with the orange dome, NOT the clear one.

    I haven't had a positive experience with Nuwave. I took it back to the store. There were several things I didn't like about it, but the thing that bothered me the most was that the instructions say to turn your pizza upside down at first & bake it for a while like that, then turn your pizza right side up for the last few minutes to melt the cheese. That's just crazy!

    20 minutes to pan cook burgers?????????? ???????????? You don't need the Newave, you need cooking classes. Even from frozen it shouldn't take more thann 8 minutes.

    I've been seeing a lot of these at the Goodwill. That should tell you something about the product. Most of the reviews you see are PR companies hired to do damage control.

      If you can purchase 1 cheaper than 100. I'd jump on it. That's a news clip on does it work or not. Nor do they need PR companies to do damage control since this news station is in favor of the Nuwave.

    The dome cracks and Nuwave Co. replacement dome ($25)is always out of stock but they always have the improved dome for about $50 + shipping.Looks like built in defective item so the co. can make extra $$$$ on new dome

    My ground beef wasn't completely thawed so I nuked it for 1:30 and seasoned it in a bowel. Took 9 damn minutes and they were good. Need to start using foil in the bottom but all I had to clean was a smaller pan and the rack. I just only tested two patties as it was the first time I cooked burgers in it today. Fries are great in it but they take awhile and it actually makes me want to eat crinkle cut fries more which I don't always like .

      20 minutes is likely measured from frozen. Are you factoring defrosting time into the stovetop measure?
      If you have fresh, nonfrozen, ground beef patties, cast iron on a cooktop will be fastest as it's hot metal to food as opposed to air, particularly if you like your center on the rare side.

      People are ignoring the fact that it has a fan to circulate the infrared heat. Go, and watch the videos from QVC, and other people that have made reviews about Nuwave. The upgraded one comes in a gold colored dome. If I ever come across the upgraded one with the gold colored dome, and the accessories on QVC, I will definitely buy it.
      Even if they have one with the extended ring, and the two baking racks, I will still buy the NuWave.

    I cooked 2 burger patties in the nuwave at 350 degrees for 20 minis and it was still red in the middle and I had to flip over the meat and restart for another 10 minutes and they were done so I'll try a higher temperature next time but the burgers came out tasty

      You have to make sure that you place the quantum singularity that powers the device right in the middle. If it's not centered perfectly, the space time continuum gets all loopy and stuff, and trust me, you don't want that to happen.

  • @codeknight7

    does it use radiation?

    • @tanyalake9152
      @tanyalake9152 6 років тому

      Steven Blade - infrared. It's similar to the heating element in your regular apartment/house oven, and way smaller with a fan that circulateds the infrared heat. That's also why it cooks foods so well. It's small in size on the outside but, spacious on the inside so that you can cook more than one things.
      I want to buy/get one so bad, especially the gold colored dome one that comes with an extender ring, two baking racks, and two different shaped silicon, or silicone baking pans.
      That is if I come across that set, which is rare. Ugh.

    This is the worse machine i have ever used. It drys out any food you cook. It drys fruit and that's about all. The cleanup is a nightmare. The rack is the only thing that will fit in dishwasher. Hand washing extremely awkward. It's too big to fit in most kitchen sinks,and when it cooks it coats the whole unit with grease, or residue. I gave mine away to goodwill. It was terrible. An oven cooks as fast,and better..

      You cant be talking about the same machine it is the worst. I saw hundreds of the them in goodwill, because no one likes them. They are big and bulky, and hard to clean and they will not fit in any dishwasher made. They cook meats dry and tasteless, and i noticed only 3 people approve of it which proves my point.

    • @tyrahackett9117
      @tyrahackett9117 4 роки тому

      @@BOBOLAMA just because its at goodwill doesnt mean it's bad. Maybe family has donated after a loved 1 passed away. Assuming isnever good. If your food was dry you probably over cooked your food. It does seem impossible to cook things in such a short time compared to an oven. If you use the times and cooking instructions they send with your Nuwave. It will be great. You should give it another chance. ;)

    • @usnva5638
      @usnva5638 9 років тому

      Bob OriginalMedic The flavor of grilling vs. Nuwave is not the same by a long shot! A gas grill, with the proper ventilation, in an enclosed heated patio is the way to go. For Nuwave you have to add all types of seasonings and really all you're eating is highly seasoned beef rather than naturally flavored, low-seasoned beef.

    • @danielmurray04
      @danielmurray04 7 років тому

      well, a lot of places use a hot plate, which is basically the commercial version of a pan.. eddy rockets and other "burger joints", in fact, it seems more common than grilling. But re this, burgers are a bad example, as pan frying grilling are easy and you already will likely have a grill and stove .. so the nuwave takes up more space.
