Ye debate India me possible hai kyuki yahan vegetarian ke options bahot hain. But other than India, the World is living on Non veg. You can't change that.
I used to eat non veg twice or thrice in a week. Now its been a year since I have stopped consuming non vegetarian food. It's because I understood the concept of Karmic content. And it's no big deal to stop eating non veg. Actually it gives you a sense of pride and develops compassion towards living creatures. And I wont's say I have sacrificed, because it has benefitted me in a lot of ways. One more change that I noticed in myself is that my excretory system has become a lot healthy.
I am a born vegetarian. I didn't liked meat, fish, fish egg, egg etc . But my family is non vegetarian. They used to force me to eat meat , and fish when I was a kid. They used to mix meat and fish with my rice. And I ate it. I realised I don't feel the taste of meat or fish like others do . I like the smell when it is being cooked. But I don't eat it. The main reason I am a born vegetarian is because of animal cruelty.And I see people these days making fun of that with their psudo logic. I can't thank enough to God that he or she made me sensible about this topic. Thanks to God that he made me like this that I became a born vegetarian in a non vegetarian family..... And I'll continue to be so...

I am sorry but this is a very dumb analogy. Humans are animals too, and we are part of the food chain. The fact that we can digest meat pretty much proves that our digestive systems have evolved for eating meat and that we always have eaten meat. If not for meat consumption our society and our bodies will not be as strong as they are today. Call me heartless but disrupting the food chain has never ever led to anything good. You remove the top predator from any environment, and you will have your answer.
I was been a teacher in private school many years,once i gave lectures about not eating non vegetarian to students for few days.After this one of the parents came and did fight with me that our son had stopped eating meat,why did you say this.This encouraged me and even now I advise people to stop eating meat and be vegetarian.

you a little confused, but at least you got the spirit XD. All jokes aside, milk and tea is not non-vegetarian, cause the main motive being to prevent animal cruelty, but drinking cow milk is part of our Indian culture, which been going on for hundreds if not thousand of years , which is also a good source of healthy diet, way to conservation of animals like cow, which is respected as our mother etc.
I was 9 years old when I realised that the so called delicious non-veg dish served to me comes from slaughtering of an animal. I would like to mention here that my whole family is yet non-vegetarian and they're great in arguing in support of eating non-veg but I went against them and left eating non-veg altogether. It has been more than 13 years now and I am consistent with my decision. Yet I'm criticised for eating ghaas foos, for mindfully eating the bacterias in various forms (as they're life too & they die everytime I breathe), for taking the lives of plants for my survival or not abiding to the food chain but to many such arguments, I've the only answer, "I won't eat".

You can see how hypocrite people can be. On the one hand they are saying that all life created by God should be respected and of the other hand they are consuming animals. As far I know, plants are living things too. So why do we eat them? There is an ecological balance in the environment. For example, if there are less tigers in forest, there will be more deer and they will leave no space for other species. Predators are needed to balance the population of deer so that there is ample space for all species in that area. As regards stray dogs, their uncontrolled population is a menace which needs a multi pronged solution which may include culling, sterilization, vaccination, etc. India has become the rabies capital of the world and there are numerous instances of stray and even pet dogs killing humans. I think human life should be valued more than a dog's life.

I used to eat non veg twice or thrice in a week. Now its been a year since I have stopped consuming non vegetarian food. It's because I understood the concept of Karmic content. And it's no big deal to stop eating non veg. Actually it gives you a sense of pride and develops compassion towards living creatures. And I wont's say I have sacrificed, because it has benefitted me in a lot of ways.
One more change that I noticed in myself is that my excretory system has become a lot healthy.
Every yr 25000 death' by dogs bite in India, if u want just do home delivery at overnight,dogs not allowed to pass they make job very difficult,
I am a born vegetarian. I didn't liked meat, fish, fish egg, egg etc . But my family is non vegetarian. They used to force me to eat meat , and fish when I was a kid. They used to mix meat and fish with my rice. And I ate it. I realised I don't feel the taste of meat or fish like others do . I like the smell when it is being cooked. But I don't eat it. The main reason I am a born vegetarian is because of animal cruelty.And I see people these days making fun of that with their psudo logic. I can't thank enough to God that he or she made me sensible about this topic. Thanks to God that he made me like this that I became a born vegetarian in a non vegetarian family..... And I'll continue to be so...

I am sorry but this is a very dumb analogy. Humans are animals too, and we are part of the food chain. The fact that we can digest meat pretty much proves that our digestive systems have evolved for eating meat and that we always have eaten meat. If not for meat consumption our society and our bodies will not be as strong as they are today. Call me heartless but disrupting the food chain has never ever led to anything good. You remove the top predator from any environment, and you will have your answer.
I was been a teacher in private school many years,once i gave lectures about not eating non vegetarian to students for few days.After this one of the parents came and did fight with me that our son had stopped eating meat,why did you say this.This encouraged me and even now I advise people to stop eating meat and be vegetarian.

All jokes aside, milk and tea is not non-vegetarian, cause the main motive being to prevent animal cruelty, but drinking cow milk is part of our Indian culture, which been going on for hundreds if not thousand of years , which is also a good source of healthy diet, way to conservation of animals like cow, which is respected as our mother etc.

I was 9 years old when I realised that the so called delicious non-veg dish served to me comes from slaughtering of an animal. I would like to mention here that my whole family is yet non-vegetarian and they're great in arguing in support of eating non-veg but I went against them and left eating non-veg altogether. It has been more than 13 years now and I am consistent with my decision. Yet I'm criticised for eating ghaas foos, for mindfully eating the bacterias in various forms (as they're life too & they die everytime I breathe), for taking the lives of plants for my survival or not abiding to the food chain but to many such arguments, I've the only answer, "I won't eat".

Eating vegetarian food is not wrong because after these plants products have left their main body, they dont feel anything. The plants will feel pain if you cut them or hack at them, but most of the fruits and vegetables are harvested when they're ripe, meaning, whne the plant is about to cut them off themselves, meaning the plant has no pain receptors left in that bond.
So i honestly dunno what you are tryna say. Its all about doing an honest effort not to hurt things unnecessarily. I'll try my best not to hurt any life, but i am also one of those life. I cannot kill myself as well. That's why i can only offer my sincerest apologies to all the lives i have killed or hurt unknowingly.

You can see how hypocrite people can be. On the one hand they are saying that all life created by God should be respected and of the other hand they are consuming animals. As far I know, plants are living things too. So why do we eat them? There is an ecological balance in the environment. For example, if there are less tigers in forest, there will be more deer and they will leave no space for other species. Predators are needed to balance the population of deer so that there is ample space for all species in that area. As regards stray dogs, their uncontrolled population is a menace which needs a multi pronged solution which may include culling, sterilization, vaccination, etc. India has become the rabies capital of the world and there are numerous instances of stray and even pet dogs killing humans. I think human life should be valued more than a dog's life.

I think why dogs are treated different than chicken is coz, Dogs have been companion to humans from so long, that being has made his place between us and gained love by showing love and loyalty, no animal has come closer to beating dogs as the world rank 1 pets and dogs do own the title of Man's Best Friend.
Eating chicken for survival can be justified, but for taste,.... I think if nature has given us the feeling of kindness, as most of us would feel that it is the most beautiful trait of a person and we should not ignore it.
We are among the most powerful being on the planet and we should respect and consider why is that. now the whole planet is being affected by our doings, that much effect humans have. so, Yes we should fulfill some moral duties. before the nature that created us and provided us with such strength, take it away.

I quit meat/eggs consumption 1 and a 1/2 years ago, and now my diet is now kind of veganish.
