Everything they're saying still applies ❤️💚🖤
there is a urban legend bout when wack mc's hear this track their heads explode
this song never gonna die!
One of the coldest beats ever... Classic hip hop!!
Don’t you think it’s funny that people use both ‘fire’ and ‘cold’ to describe the same thing?
That first verse still send chills to be honest. Love from half-way across the world.
I'll never understand how we went from hits like this, to the trash today
Sad Indeed
Laziness
went from smooth lyrics carrying the track to "all about the beat", but even then the beat sucks and the kids cant spit worth a ___
@@Lvwl3ss nah more like radio plays. No radio stations will play music like this because its anti government music and at the end of the day whoever runs these radio stations gets their license from the government.. so they have to follow the rules no matter how biased or morally wrong the rules are
@@justchillin420 exactly right my man
2021 and still rocking real hip hop
Still better than 'gucci gang' crap.

Dis on Skate One every time I hear dis song I sing it
Yuuuuuup....
1.2..1..2
2nd verse is one the sickest in history. 100% facts. First verse pretty dope too. Beat is sick. Hell, whole song is dope. This is what hip hop is supposed to be like. Preach to em Dead Prez
Was looking for civil war by guns and roses but I have to say. This is the most amazing song I've ever heard. The beat and rhythm are unmatched and this man spits with the most incredible heart I can imagine. You have to keep this going and spread this message forever everyone needs to hear this. You are amazing my friend. I fought in Afghanistan and respect Islam more for it. Love to you and peace be with you and our one true and only God will always bless you my friend!!!!
Dead prez will never die. Bumping right now in 2348. The time traveller's cosign this.
Hahaha
Who still bumping this in 2000
2024 still bumping!
Who still listening to this in 2019-20?!? Still dope then, now & forever. ✊🏾

It's over half way through 2019 And the lyrics have never resonated so vividly than they do now
Truth....
what has the date got to do with it???
@@jez4969 Because this song was released in 2000 and his lyrical intellect and knowledge is very relevant in today's society
Thank you for the explanation thats very true.
Facts!!!
Such a classic! ❤🐝🔥
One of the hardest tracks ever made
The beat is still hard as ever and the whole album speaks truth, social change is a must!
no, social change has done nothing but ruin The West. nowhere, and i mean nowhere, does "breaking down societies conventions" improve anything...
Power to the people brother or sis ! An amazigh said it 😁
This should be blasted in every community
Facts!!!!!!!
Right
Holy fuck, how did I miss this? Thank you netflix hip hop documentary.
One of the most conscious hip hop tracks ever made that really stuck two fingers and the middle finger up to the fake hip hop establishment
Bought this CD when I was 14! More classics on the full album, one of the last classic hiphop albums IMO.
This has aged unbelievably well. The lyrics are as relevant as ever in 2020, and it still sounds great.
For sure! Actually the whole Let's Get Free album is super relevant. Even on the topic of health - check out "Be Healthy"
Yeah
Feel it
*3030 you meant 3030. We still listening to the soul of the earth.
They were kids. Never forget the power of Youth.
One of the best hip hop songs of all time. Real talk. The message is the medium.
This is hip hop at it’s purest breath of fresh air from what’s out now adays
This is pure energy.
Love from Chile, southamerica
Ayeeeah vengo x mi dosis diaria de dp
Valpo aquí representandoo!
Deadprez where yall at? These youngstas need some substance
Fr
I just saw them perform a week ago at a black vegan festival.
These dummies can't relate today.
@Michaell Alexander yes I can understand that statement......but dude it totally was more real and more heavy. More lyrically hotter and strangely innocent. There was no social media so sound over looks just ruled over effortlessly. That is not to say it's not amazing now tho... as it is. Just different but still brilliant x x x one love to u
This message goes over a lot of peoples heads, it's bigger than hip hop?? Double speak....
Coming from the streets if don't get realer from one of the realest dawgs in hip hop music aficionados ❤
If you a fighter, rider, biter, flame-ignitor, crowd-exciter Or you want to just get high, then just say it But then if you a liar-liar, pants on fire, wolf-crier, agent wit' a wire I'm gon' know it when I play it
Rap punchline beefed up wit super duper bars.
That was straight diesel pumped through the speakers. Those bars still hit hard as the first time I heard it..
In real world again the REAL WORLD
Serious bars
Wow
💯
I still remember the first time I heard this on the Chappelle show back in the day. Still test out every sub with this song I get to this day!
I saw Dead Prez perform this at the Brooklyn Hip Hop festival in 2008 and I could tell you I thought the roof was going to collapse..the base alone mixed with the crowd was an experience I have never gotten again..timeless experience
This was the first real hip hop tune I’d heard. My American mate came over to visit and had this playing on his tape cassette. I copied it and lost it some years later. It’s taken me nearly 20 years to find this gem again. 💯
Real Hip Hop, these are the artists that unite us as people and bring a real message to the table.
True
If hip-hop is a nation, these are Governors senators and presidents. Appreciate you Brothers this shit never gets old
