I know you posted this a year ago but I had to comment based on my recent experience with an Onan Marquis 5000 Generator on my 1997 Fleetwood Bounder. I do not have your consummate experience with engine repair but I've have about 50 years as a DIYer. I spent several hours on the carburetor 2 days ago and yesterday spent a few more hours upside down getting the old fuel pump out and the new one in. The pump was very difficult to access on the rear underside.
I came across your video after I had finished the repair. I was surprised at how well you took on the challenge of getting the carburetor bolts off.
Unlike you...I was miserable and exhausted.
I surmise my generator sat unused for 26 years. It has 52 hours on the meter which means it was never even "broken in". There was no varnish in the bowl but the jets looked somewhat dirty. I changed the fuel lines, and hot wired the pump so i can prime before starting.
I haven't tested it yet... I had to walk away from the repair for a couple of days...I was exasperated at the amount of time I had to invest in what should have been a simple repair. Now i have to get the cover off to connect the linkage. That's another production.
I bow my head to a person like yourself that works on engines regularly. The work is truly an art form. Much respect. Thanks for listening! Rob

Thanks, Rob. You're right....Getting that carburetor off and on is the biggest challenge, especially if you've got fat fingers! Good luck.

That black knob that's at the bottom you have to use a screw driver to pop it off then you'll see the half inch nut at the bottom
