Revelation 14V7,12,13 7 WORSHIP HIM , KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of God, AND the FAITH OF JESUS, REST FROM THEIR LABOURS; and their WORKS. Keeping the REST DAY with Jesus. The Sabbath day.
7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and WORSHIP HIM that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and THE FOUNTAIN OF WATERS.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS of God, AND the FAITH OF JESUS.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may REST FROM THEIR LABOURS; and their WORKS do follow them.
Genesis 2:1-7 THE SEVENTH DAY ... King James Version
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on THE SEVENTH DAY God ended his work which he had made; and he RESTED on the seventh day from all his WORK which he had made.
3 And God blessed THE SEVENTH DAY and sanctified it: because that in it he had RESTED from all his work which God created and made.
4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had NOT CAUSE IT TO RAIN UPON THE EARTH, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 BUT THERE WENT UP A MIST FROM THE EARTH, AND WATERED THE WHOLE FACE OF THE GROUND.
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
    Exodus 20v8 to11
8 REMEMBER the SABBATH day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou LABOUR, and do all thy WORK:
10 But THE SEVENTH DAY is the SABBATH of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt NOT do any WORK, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and ALL IN THEM IS, and RESTED THE SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the Lord BLESSED THE SABBATH DAY,

It's a comfort and relief to know that Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath.
      Mark 2: 23-28
"23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath."

MISUNDERSTANDING (like Pharisees does)The problem, Pharisee put many other restrictions (laws) for the Sabbath3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day. Exodus 35:3 KJV
Bad interpretation, Moses tell to stop making fire for forging metals, event for the Arc or the temple of God. But for lightning, heating and cooking is not a problem.
That's why the Sabbath is plural on Colossians. Follow the Sabbath of God, not thy SabbathS of men.
      Matthew 15:8-9 KJV
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; But THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME. But IN VAIN THEY DO WORSHIP ME, TEACHING FOR DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN.
Matthew 23 King James Version (MISUNDERSTANDING THE LAWS AND THE SABBATH)
1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,.
      Colossians 2:16-17King James Version
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath dayS:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
PHARISSES HATED JESUS FOR THE HER FAKE (DOCTRINE ) SABBATH,
BUT PEOPLE HATED THE TRUE SABBATH, BECAUSE THEY BELIEF ON FALSE DOCTRINE.
JESUS MAKE PEOPLE WHOLE ON THE SABBATH DAY. WHY???
      John 5 King James Version
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
16 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on THE SABBATH DAY.
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I WORK.
18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had BROKEN THE SABBATH, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
Luke 6 King James Version (read the complete chapter)
1 And it came to pass on the SECOND SABBATH after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.
2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the SABBATH DAYS?
      3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;
4 How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?5 And he said unto them, That THE SON OF MAN IS THE LORD ALSO OF THE SABBATH.
6 And it came to pass also on ANOTHER SABBATH, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would HEAL ON THE SABBATH DAY; that they might find an accusation against him.
8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; IS IT LAWFUL ON THE SABBATH DAYS TO DO GOOD, OR TO DO EVIL? TO SAVE LIFE, OR TO DESTROY IT?
10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
      17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to HEAR HIM, AND TO BE HEALED OF THEIR DISEASES;
18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and THEY WERE HEALED.19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, AND HEALED THEM ALL.
20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
      luke13KJV
10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues ON THE SABBATH.
11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a SPIRIT OF INFIRMITY eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art LOOSED FROM thine INFIRMITY.
13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was MADE STRAIGHT, and glorified God.
14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered WITH INDIGNATION, because that Jesus had HEALED ON THE SABBATH DAY, and said unto the people, There are SIX DAYS in which men ought to WORK: in them THEREFORE COME AND BE HEALED, and NOT ON THE SABBATH DAY.
15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou HYPOCRITE, doth not each one of you ON THE SABBATH DAY LOOSE HIS OX OR HIS ASS from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16 And ought not THIS WOMAN, being a DAUGHTER OF ABRAHAM, whom SATAN HATH BOUND, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
17 And when he had said these things, ALL HIS ADVERSARIES WERE ASHAMED: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
      Luke 14 King James Version
2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the DROPSY.
3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, IS IT LAWFUL TO HEAL ON THE SABBATH DAY?
      4 And they held their peace. And he TOOK HIM, AND HEALED HIM, and let him go;
5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall HAVE A ASS OR AN OX FALLEN INTO A PIT, AND WILL NOT STRAITWAY PULL HIM OUT ON THE SABBATH DAY?
6 And they could not answer him again to these things.
John 9 KJV (read the complete chapter)
13 They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime WAS BLIND.
14 And it was THE SABBATH DAY when Jesus made the clay, and OPENED HIS EYES.
15 Then AGAIN THE PHARISEES also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
16 Therefore said SOME OF THE PHARISEES, This man is NOT OF GOD, because he KEEPETH NOT THE SABBATH DAY. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
17 They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he HATH OPENED THINE EYES? He said, He is a prophet.
39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that THEY WHICH SEE NOT MIGHT SEE; AND THAT THEY WHICH SEE MIGHT BE MADE BLIND.
40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we BLIND ALSO?
41 Jesus said unto them, IF YE WERE BLIND, ye should have NO SIN: but now ye say, WE SEE; THEREFORE YOUR SIN REMAINETH.
YOUR HEART IS FAR FROM ME, NOT ENTER INTO MY REST (MY SABBATH)
      Hebrews 10 v10-13
10Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do ALWAY ERR IN THEY HEART; and they have NOT KNOW MY WAYS.
11So I sware in my wrath, They shall NOT ENTER INTO MY REST.)
12Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an EVIL HEART OF UNBELIEF, in DEPARTING FROM THE LIVING GOD.
13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; LEST ANY OF YOU BE HARDENED THROUGH THE DECEITFULNESS OF SIN.
      .
If Jesus doesn't want his apostles and disciples to not follow the sabbath anymore. He tells them clearly after his resurrection
