- Im Northern Meeting Park in Inverness begeisterten Runrig am 25.August nach längerer Pause ihre Fans mit einem grandiosen Konzert. Die Fans waren aus Schottland, Dänemark, Deutschland und vielen anderen Ländern angereist. Gleich im ersten Song ging Bruce Guthro auf Inverness und die Fans in Regenkleidung ein und verkündete, dass die (gut gelaunte) Band ihr Bestes geben wird. Und sie tat es denn auch und riss die Fans mit vielen Runrig-Klassikern und neuen Arrangements mit.

It's so great that Runrig is still touring, in this it's 39th year of existence. I've been a fan for 35 of those years & they're one of my favorite groups of all time! Inverness is the "Capitol" of the Scottish Highlands. The opening ad libs here are quite fun. My village was 80 miles from Inverness. On the roads back then, a trip to Inverness took anywhere between 2.5 to 3 hours, each way. Since, the nearest movie theater was there, one rarely went to the movies:)

Thanks for posting this. It gives those of us far away that can't get to many of the shows the chance to feel like we are there. Runrig just keeps getting better every year.
