The mass effect series is fine with who has it, mass effect andromeda would’ve been great but it got royally fucked by outside intervention i.e. being out sourced to BioWare montreal which was very understaffed for a project like that as well as unreal engine 4 being very unstable at the time, which is why they needed more time to adjust to the new engine
To the minority of you saying no. Mass Effect Andromeda had tons of issues besides the bugs that plagued it on launch and Anthem was a disappointing lie. Bioware has lost alot of it's talent even before those two games happened and since then even more original members have left. Rather EA is to blame or Bioware themselves there's no denying they aren't the same studio and even the devs there struggle to push out something decent at best. Dragon Age 4 will be another test to see if that studio can redeem themselves or not but I have a strong feeling Bioware will never be great again
In JFO, power of friendship *fully* refilled the force bar, which was insanely OP.
Love Cross guard, dual blade, and twin blades. Signal blade I’ll be getting into soon.
Favorite stance has to be double bladed, it's my favorite kind of lightsaber aesthetically and it always felt so cool in use to me (Also EZ-mode blaster parry)

Can't wait for a mod for unlimited or lower cost of force. I replayed Fallen Order with that mod and it really felt awsome so I can't wait to replay Survivor with it.

Is point blank supposed to work with the stun electric shot? I've been playing with the electric shot but lost the point blank effect when I try to parry with the blaster stance.
I do miss dodge rolling from the first game lol, I like rolling a lot. Maybe it’s a skill you can unlock or something.
Edit: I found out I have to hold the dodge button instead of double-tap it, in Fallen Order it was double-tap for a dodge roll.
Edit #2: I WAS WRONG DON’T FALL FOR MY GULLIBLE COMMENT I had searched the internet but didn’t check in my game until I woke up the next morning. I think they did remove it, sadly.

Dodge is much more effective in this game though if you time it correctly
@@cody3335 yeah I know, I just like rolling a lot for some reason, it feels a little more dodge-like to me. Plus I feel like I keep my momentum. It’s more of a visual thing than a practical thing for me.

The double dodge they added is… not good. You have a second or two of recovery on the last dodge, leaving you wide open. Not a fan to say the least.

Good vid though, gave me some pointers that will be useful. Question - do all skills only work with the stance they are a part of, or is there some overlap?
There is no overlap through the stances
No over lap, but it would have been nice to have a skill tree for that
You will be three quarters way through the game before you unlock all skills, how it’s that early?
Does anyone know what the white painted symbols on the walls are that are scattered all over? One looks like a square cross hair, and a few others are like fingerpainted looking around the game, I haven't found any info about them anywhere. 😑

What is concidered early in this game, what % of completion? There are no really good skill point farm places like whe had on last game. I did start to spec points first in hp, and ammount of force. Since this game seems to have very much force stuff later in to the story. Did i go wrong? Im running Singel and double for now. I like the fact that you can reset the skills so you can move the skills when you unlock a new stance. But how do i get perks?
Just follow the story, perks are on kodoh.
Play the game, there is no become powerful early, skills that you need are unlocked in chapter progression.
Which stances did you enjoy?
Just bought a physical copy and with my potato internet speed I won’t be playing until 8 and a half hours . 104.46GB is a mega bomb .

Enjoying the game so far on PS5. I have an issue. When I activate the holomap with the touch pad, an empty transparent window pops up and behind it, I can see the audio ping buttons. Does anyone know if this is a setting I may have accidentally turned on or off? Or is it a glitch?
Given the state of the game on all platforms it's likely to be a graphical glitch

Oh no! No Force Lightning. No Force Grip :( I had an extremely balanced and powerful character in Jedi Academy because I mixed light side powers and dark side powers without caring all that much about rebukes from Luke Skywalker and Kyle Katarn due to those dark side powers I also employed.
It’s a shame you couldn’t do that in new game plus. Nutty build

In Jedi Academy, it required Force Grip level 3 to be able to remotely grab your enemy and throw him off the ledge to his death (another alternative was to use the combination of Force Jump and while up in the air, Force Pull to send them flying and screaming blood curdlingly in terror and pain of death even worse than in Force Grip Level 3). Seems like you can throw them off the ledge without Force Grip in Survivor and Fallen Order but you cannot choke or constrict them with force powers like you could do in JA. In Jedi Academy, you could also clean a large room of a whole team of enemy soldiers by putting away your lightsaber, then charging into the room and using Force Lightning level 3 with BOTH hands now that your lightsaber is not in your other hand. Force Lightning is what I also very sorely miss in Cal Kestis series. Also Cal Kestis series in unrealistic in the sense that Force Pull could be expected not only to jerk the enemies of human weight close to you but also make them lose their balance and fall to the ground. When that happened in Jedi Academy, I ran over those enemies and pitilessly executed them with lightsaber while they were still lying on the ground or totally helpless because their animation of getting back up on their feet was still incomplete (that is actually a very good tactic in the beginning of Jedi Academy when you dont have much of a force powers yet to speak of). I would also hope Cal Kestis could violently slam his opponents to the walls just like Starkiller/Galen Marek did with what I remember looked like Force Shockwave or Yoda did with Force Push to a couple of Imperial Senate guards upon trespassing there to challenge Palpatine to a duel. I so hope the devs would make DLCs or further games to incorporate these features. Or maybe....the modding community could do this?

@@taikajorma7276 I pay ATM for 1 game priority £10.99 any game and I can rent and send back unlimited times boomeranggamerentals. I usually get 3 priority (priority means I get rental before base package customers) around September time as that's when the big games start to drop.

You can’t become super powerful early in this game, you can only become their equal by putting the game on story mode or Padawan.
No tips for double blade?
Vortex Dive can gap-close and strike multiple times to break stance really well (so can the first orbit throw for stance damage), Gathering Tempest and endless hurricane are the core for continued aggression for the tree. I haven't unlocked these yet but Rising Storm and Repulsing Burst are fantastic aoe, Rising Storm can combo with Wrenching Pull to get more damage out of your spin, and Controlled Throw seems like it will have potential as long as you can control your combat angle to keep enemies in front. Multifold reflection I also haven't unlocked, but if it allows you to reflect bolts onto your chosen target it will be fantastic for your crowd control/focus-fire and building on the natural reflection of the stance, but if it's random it's likely to be meh. Double orbit I haven't really found to be too worth it aside from that 150 droid force tear, so far.
Experience from my current GM run.
So far no crashes or major bugs - one glitch on a severed arm one time (PS5, performance mode and narrower field of view). But that's just on opening level/planet.
I have been playing 5 hours on ps5 and ive had 0 bugs. Great game
Yeah you should see these video of UA-cam creators dumping on the game for bugs and issues and I haven't had any problem on ps5. It runs smooth and looks amazing. Plus there was a 3gb day one patch this morning fixing alotta the issues but again not one issue so far I my play thru. Gonna be a Great game
@@Nil2none oh I don't fault reviewers like ACG, Skill Up, etc at all (especially regarding high end PC issues - Respawn also noted this was happening on high end PCs less than an hour ago).
PS5 is not that great either. HDR is completely broken and I don’t want to switch my whole ps5 settings to have one game look normal and everything else look shit. Also it stutters way more than you would expect from a performance mode.
@@carl-friedrich9596 interesting for hasn't experienced any hdr issues nor changed any PS5 settings (just in game). Does your tv support vrr (mine doesnt-been wondering if that's a thing to with the game).

People with 4090 cards are getting 50fps this game is garbage on PC. Unreal seems to struggle hard with PC optimization which sucks considering so many devs are using it now.

@@netwatch7261 it doesn't seem to be badly optimized it's just....... backwards. My system is basically mid-range and it runs the game perfect fine, well I found out that these issues are only happening to those with high end systems. So me with my Ryzen 7 3800x 32gb of RAM and a GTX 1660 super isn't having problems but those with Ryzen 9 processors and Rtx 4090s are seeing worse performance.
So yeah it's not bad it's just kinda....... well backwards.

that's where the confusion lies, its said that you can't get all 75 skills however there is no level cap so theoretically you can get them all. also there's new game plus so if you can't get them in one play through I'm sure you can get them in a second with collecting the skill points in the worlds you visit

Don’t fall for these get powerful early video’s, you can’t, most of the skills you need are unlocked through chapter progression and the skill tree’s are just tricks, the light saber stays the same power throughout the game.

I'm not sure I'm enjoying the duel wield stance, some of the basic attacks just don't feel Jedi like to me. I wanna feel like a Jedi when I play this lol. Just the single bladed saber is my go to fr. Can't wait to unlock the blaster and Cross guard trees tho.
I mean he didnt have proper training with a lightsaber, so he's use of a lightsaber is based on his own training noh?

I noticed that too. It’s not so bad if performance mode is turned off but if I want to have 60fps, which I thought most games would when I bought my ps5, it looks so bad
