I can't thank you enough for posting this video. I am a solo female traveller going on the same ship for my first cruise next month. I am very apprehensive. I have to stay in port the night before and all this information is invaluable to me. Did you buy the 1 ticket to cover both train journeys from the airport or buy the second leg in Rome? xx
Hi! Our ship will be docking at Civitaveccia in October and we are thinking of exploring Civitaveccia as we have been to Rome a couple of times before. Is there any shuttle from port to Civitaveccia centre or is it only to the train station? How far is the train station to Civitaveccia city centre? Thank you for your video which makes me want to explore the lovely churches ❤
From the cruiseterminal there is a free shuttle bus to Largo della Pace. There you will find a tourist information which had maps over Civitavecchia with great information what to see. Everything is very walkable by foot from Largo della Pace. Have a great cruise!
