Polaris RZR XP 1000 Front Diff Rebuild...This Thing Rips!!

- My buddy Stojko dropped off his RZR XP 1000 for a couple of upgrades before he goes on a bit of a trail ride. we end up doing a rebuild on the front diff and put a few upgrade parts in it as well as a new cover plate on his primary clutch. As a guy that owns a number of Polaris products I can assure you... The slop is well within spec lol
I've always left the plastic sprag cages in the front ends, when the plastic one comes apart you typically don't see any collateral damage. When the aluminum cage comes apart it usually scraps everything...
haha gotta love the built in factory clearance!! oh yeah...its supposed to just flop around like that...said no Yamaha owner 🤣🤣🤪 lol but that's a good tip about the cage! yeah I'm sure if the aluminum let's go she's game over up in there!! cheers buddy 🍻

Just wondering what the diameter of the inner bearing cage is . Maybe could use a piece of pvc drain pipe to make a sleeve with a wide enough gap to remove and install bearings without chasing parts in the process. Maybe make 2 rings/sleeves so 1 can be turned as to not affect the second row when working on the other.

Wonder if that grease zerk that is on that piece you took out before the winch ever gets any grease! Doesn't appear to be in a place to even get to.

I am Sooo Glad I did not buy the Polaris.. Wolverine is 100% easier to work on even if it lacks the rip factor.
