@@subcoolboats75 thanks a lot bro, I'll order one boat in 15.42"x36' for my Yamaha 5hp in the future, I used to have one 16ft but was to heavy for they.
1 and 2 cyl 4 strokes still cant hold a candle to a 2 stroke. they vibrate so badly and don't have the low and mid range punch. you can hear the vibration and can turn your hand cherry-red. it might help a bit to put a rubber damper pad on the transom.
Well the biggest issue in owning a 12x32 jon boat, wont be for lack of power with a 5 horse motor. But dont take my word for it, best to buy one and see for yourself.
Excellent speed ..!
Thanks for watching
Thats incredibly fast for a 5hp you must have everything set up just right hopefully I can get that out of mine
It is a lightweight boat, Im pleased with it’s performance. Thanks for watching
WOW 😮
That thing scoots good. I was looking at the 6hp for my 10’ Jon.
You got my vote 👍
Time to try two 5 hp outboards.
👍👍
Living the dream nothing beats a tin can
Indeed, Thanks for watching
Man, especially a tin can with some suds in it !
Where did you get the stuff to go over the seat?
Amazon
Hydro-Turf sheet with self-adhesive (Gator Camo) a.co/d/4fuXqr8
Thanks

Dude how did u get that kind of speed out of a 5hp. I run a 4hp on a 14ft v-hull and get 8-9 mph tops. Props to you.
It’s not a heavy boat (around 100lbs dry) and flat bottom which helps I think. Have fun out there 👍
What's the beam, height and thickness of the boat?
Thanks for watching!
Dimensions Length 12' 1''Beam 46"
WidthBottom: 32" Transom Height 13.5"
.043 5052 aluminum thickness
@@subcoolboats75 thanks bro, but it's just really 0.043 of thickness super thin, this boat must be extremely light weight
Yep it’s light and was super cheap, bought from a neighbor who wanted it out of his yard. 👍

Thanks, the price was right too.
Cool vid i have 13 foot vhull 4 man row boat n use powermat 580 2stroke 7mph n tohatsu 4stroke 5hp 15mph 🚣👍
Thanks for watching! 5hp 👍
@@subcoolboats75 yeah will be doing mods to my motors n my boat to make it have good range n speed n other cool stuff 🪂🚴♂️🚣😃👍
18mph, saved you some time
32 wide that is super narrow
Narrow boats have their place. Thanks for watching
Mine will only do 14 on calm water with 12 ft v hull with me an ice chest and 6 gallon fuel tank
Those are good numbers, I’m just using the built in tank and carry a 1 gallon. The v hull probably has a deeper draft 👍
@subcoolboats75 I thought about looking for a flat bottom just didn't know how well it would do in choppy water
@jasonduncan6398 the V will handle better, a modified V might beca good alternatives, usually they start at 14ft.
I used to have a 5hp Merc. Had to work on it every year. Nothing but a headache. Will not own another Merc ever. I currently have a Johnson
I just got this Mercury, so far it’s working well. I have yamaha on the other boat. Thanks for watching
Yup…
