I love that you keep it simple for us newbies and you down showoff your best work when helping others learn this art. The showoff stuff is very discouraging. Thank you for your help
I appreciate the feedback Grady. I make these especially for new new people. I'm glad they are helping folks. Please if you can give it a like and a share. Really helps me out a ton. Have a great 4th of July!
I find these less complex designs helpful in that I can follow them even after they are completed. I lose track on some complicated designs and end up not being able to figure them out. Keep it up young man.
That looks fantastic!!! Excellent colour choices and explanations on each step...if I can do even 1 of those lines in the future I'd be happy!! Beautiful mate!
@@villapinstriping good stuff!!! As a beginner, would you say that I'm ok to start with the sword style brush?? I've heard you say yiu mainly use scrollers.
I would look up (Long line Pinstriping) or (coachlines).. it's something that I don't do much of. Frankly because I'm not proficient at them. But their are some videos on UA-cam from other folks
You have been my goto for knowledge in this new form of expression im starting, I have some questions for you, first off how in the middle of a design do you fix a mistake? Also how to keep from smoudgeing your workwhile pulling a line? one more thing why after paleting why does my brush get fat? Is it not deluded properly?
I do use them sometimes but I never got really comfortable with them. I wish that I stuck with the sword to be completely honest. But now I'm used to using the strollers so I picked them up generally for design work
@@bee2333 well sword brushes are best for old school traditional designs, and long straight lines. Scrolling brushes are best for loops and scrolls. But in the end everything about this becomes personal preference.
I know this is an older video, but I’m curious, some have said that glass is hard to start with as it has no tack. Did you start on glass or what is best to practice on daily for newbies?
I did start on glass. And I still feel that's the best thing to start with because it's reusable. In the end you want to practice on all surfaces possible. But glass is reusable
I prefer LONG HANDLE, LONG HAIR. I have a brush that is discontinued a (custom shop black magic #3) that's pretty much like a long handle Kafka scroller. Unfortunately the only thing that's close to that is a Wizard Vortex but they are way to soft for me. I prefer mixed hair brushes
@@aymenyaqoob1009 Just take it one practice at a time you'll get it. Remember that this is a life long art-form. As long as you don't quit improvement is a comin'
Villa Pinstriping thank you for the advise, I am learning the simple ones and once my hand get used to the lines I will move up to more complicated stuff. Thank you again and please keep these videos coming

@@mickspence2885 That's the preferred brush to start with. That's the brush I started with. Swords are straight up better than scrollers
Awesome thank you. I’ve always been afraid to try. I think I might be able to do this. Now I need supplies lol
Give it a shot Ben! I have a video on supplies if you need it
being new to the art, i really like these "simple" designs :)
They are definitely challenge to come up with new ones. But it's fun for me too :)
As always my brother, Thanks for sharing your videos. I'm still a kind of a rookie at this. Very inspiring. Keep up the good work. God Bless.
We're both rookies. I'm just a 3 year one ;)
Keep them coming like all videos you post very helpful Mike z

Big fan of your simple designs! Very helpful for beginners like me😅👍 Thanks again for the great video, looking forward for the next one!
Thanks You Remy
Always enjoy the videos
I really really appreciate the feedback!! I need to try and make one this week. A real one 😂
I like your design work! But I'm looking for how to stripe the side of a car that is going to put a clearcoat on top of the stripes

That magenta looks good on black 🔥
I love magenta on black or blue
Well done

Very cool! What is the tool you are using called?
Im using a brush called a Pinstriping brush. It's made by Steve Kafka. (Kafka Scroller #1)
Hi,like to get inn to this. What brush set do you recomend
I'll post a link to my starting recommendations. Brush "sets" usually aren't necessary

I’m going to get myself some brushes for Christmas, what brand would you recommend?
My two main recommendations would be the (Kafka #3 scroller) and or the (10 series Mack #00).. these are both particular brushes.
So I know you like the kafka brushes. Do you like the short handles better than a longer handle?
I prefer LONG HANDLE, LONG HAIR.
I have a brush that is discontinued a (custom shop black magic #3) that's pretty much like a long handle Kafka scroller. Unfortunately the only thing that's close to that is a Wizard Vortex but they are way to soft for me. I prefer mixed hair brushes
But to be totally honest.. it's the hair type and long hair that prefer most. Handle is secondary.
You will eventually find what works best for you and your hand size.
Love it man, keep it up. I would love to win one of your pieces when you hit 3K subscribers.
Thanks Jesse. I wish you luck sir!
