I loved seeing all of the things you have inherited from your grandmas. ❤❤ Your kitty does the same thing as mine, when I am tidying my craft space she needs to present!😂
I'm so impressed that you've managed to finish! And it looks great, I love the pictures wall! You could crochet a bunch of squares and one day put them together.
All the Handspun and acrylic yarn would be brilliant for making blankets for animal shelters. That way, you can mix and match colours and know that the animals will just be grateful for the warmth and comfort. As a 64 year old, I prefer straight needles too! It’s how we were brought up. Even my socks I knit on DPNs. The vintage needles you should definitely keep 😍 The Aran blankets will be quite easy to make if you just concentrate on one panel at a time, with no time limit put on it. It will be an honour to use up your nanas’ lots of materials. Jinny - UK
They have stick on/easy remove battery operated disc lights for your closet. I use them to make dead space like closets easy to see. Stair wells too. ☀️
DK Acrylic is great used together to create bulky yarn in colour ways that suit different decor to create baskets of all shapes and sizes. It’s a great way to use scraps!
Maybe you will be able to finish the afghans for significant events in your cousins' lives, like wedding or significant birthdays (no idea how old they are of course, just giving ideas) one of my grandmothers also makes those towels with holders and sells them too, as sets with a dishcloth and scrubber.
Cross stitch patterns typically call for specific colors, and those colors are numbered. Your grandmother probably kept those with color numbers in the 500s in one bag and the 700s in another in order to find the right color number more easily.
Is that sweater your wearing the Danica pattern from tinderbox ? The sweater looks gorgeous on you and I just.bought that pattern and it looks like it. So if that sweater is from that pattern you definetly bumped it on my list ❤❤❤😊
@@the_copycat_stitch you made me want to crochet one immediately too and I have the yarn 🙈 soo you might just activate my.brain to start it this week 😅😂
Love this Bailey!!!
I think a project vlog of you finishing one of your grandmothers blankets would be great!
It’s looking so good ❤❤❤

Sampler throws might be a good way to preserve your grandmas work.

You could make market tote bags from the yarns and the toweling fabrics patchworked together as linings. Anyone can appreciate a tote bag .
You could make pillows put out off the projects you don`t want to finish, or perhaps make art for the Wall with some of the smaller samples
You could hold several strands of yarn together and crochet baskets with the left over acrylic.
