Hey Phil - would you/have you ever done a 'Best..' list based on your experience and use? Like: Best PBW emulsion Best 'Tough' paint Best Wood paint Best UPVC paint and so on. Maybe it can be spun off into best paints for sprayers etc. Just an idea. Keep up the great work.
Great suggestion! but its time and having somewhere to test them. My vids are they to see how I go withthem when I try them, if i think they are good, you then know it's a paint wortyh looking into. :D
I always think it’s hard to judge these ceiling paints in rooms with little light coming in. I used the new Albany one in a dark hall and thought this stuff is epic! Then used it again in a large lounge with light coming in in every direction and it was shocking 3 coats later! AR2 has dropped in quality since moving to ppg and it’s now hard to find one as good as AR2 of old. Looks promising Phil this one but would be interested if you could save some for a ceiling with lots of light coming in?
Top vid as always pal, can this go on walls too? I want to paint my ceiling and walls the same white and don’t want it to stand out if I use different paint.

Hi. I gave my newly skimmed ceiling a mist coat then sometime later, a leak above had caused a brown stain. I think i mistakingly bought and brushed on some Stain away and when dry applied my white emulsion. Well, the emulsion wouldn’t go over the Stain-away which I realise was because its waterproof. I have a horrible patch now of the different finishes really noticeable in certain light Any idea how i can fix the problem to make it better?

Next main job I'll be using it. 3% sheen level isn't bad. AF1.. I'm not to fussed about after my first experience with it
I agree, a tad unprofessional
Phil is this better than easy fill what i have used on a woodchip ceiling
Brilliant informative video. Wants your opinion on Armstead paints? Any woodwork, walls, ceiling?
Not used Dulux stuff for a while now. Better brands out there from Europe and closer to home with the likes of Bedec and H&G
