That's a beautiful Flowerhorn...I finally decided to get another after my other passed away after 6 years. These fish are enormously fun to keep as long as you can dedicate a tank to them.
They are definitely a rewarding fish to keep

I had a female flowerhorn. She loved attention. Put my hand in the tank and she would rub against it. At time of water changes she wasnt happy. She was more like a dog than a fish. Always happy to see me and my wife. Dori was her name. Had her for years in a 75 gallon tank. One day she got excited and jumped. Hit the lid of aquarium. She didnt make it. People will say fish dont have feelings. I beg to differ. The Flowerhorn fish is very smart. She was an awesome pet.
How did u keep your fish alive for years my longest time I had a fish was about 2-3 months please tell me some tips
I had a bigger filter system. Flowering need clean water. Did half tank water change each week
My flowerhorn had a severe head injury. It was so deep that I could see the membrane of the brain. I sent pics to the fish shop and they said "he's a gonna". I said nope. I went and bought API Melafix (all natural) and started treatment. He didn't move far for 3 days nor did he eat but on the 4th day he started to perk up and within a week he was completely healed. That medicine is magic in a bottle and I highly recommend it.
Love to see more on flowerhorns just got my first one growing quick and really aggressive

I don't own flowerhorns but I love them so much. I will just admire from afar. I was two seconds from buying one at the pet store that immediately came up to the glass when I walked in the fish section. I still think about that fish to this day. Hope you are safe and well!

@@SGBeardedAquarist I'm just not into aggressive fish but he was like a big ole water puppy. Because of his size, I presume he was a rescue or someone turned him in. I really didn't have anywhere for him and because of other factors really could not make the investment of time required to keep such a special fish.

Can a flower horn go in a 20 gallon?
Not for a lifetime nah. Too small imo. I think 50 gallon is a good size. 40 gallon maybe but some might disagree.
