Hello. I've been a fan for awhile and am needing some advice. I have a 75 gallon tank with 4 minnows, 2 bala sharks, 2 ghost shrimp, 1 albino rainbow shark, 1 red tailed shark, and 1 male butterfly beta. I let the tank cycle for a full week and put then in during the second week. It's the third week now and the water is kind of cloudy. Do I have too many fish?

Flowerhorns should not be in tanks with rocks or sand. Flowerhorns will pick up the rocks and sand and might get a duck lip infection due to getting small cuts in their lips. Duck lip infection is a very fetal sickness that can nock out your flowerhorn in three days. I lost a show grade kamfa due to this.
They are one of my favorites as well. My problem is they are super expensive in South Carolina. So I had to go the cheaper route and got a green Terror.
Just want to say, first time watching you and I enjoyed your video. Anyways, to clean up some confusion and hopefully giving you some advice for the future, if I were you I would definatly take out the substrate and all decos as these fish are very complex and are very very vulnerable for accidents/damages and diseases.
Keep some glass or some kind of dividers handy.. I tried the very same thing and even as fry they are relentless.

can you show us a video if you guys successfully pair a male and female flowerhorn living in one aquarium. I've been trying to pair flowerhorn for years. most of them kill each other, some survived but got hurt really really bad.
So I’m confused as to where on the site you found them Flowerhorns
They are constantly getting new inventory and selling out of things. I would just shoot them an email, mention you saw my video and are wondering what Flowerhorn they have available! This way you'll know if they have more ok the way and what types specifically!

He definitely had more pearls! Honestly I think my buddy got the higher "grade" fish, but I was just so drawn to the vibrant red of this guy!

One way to make the kok grow bigger and faster, if you want, they are dominant and territorial fish. A lot of people I know throw in a parrot cichlid in the same tank. Testosterone makes him want to dominate, therefore causing his kok to grow bigger and faster. Just a tip I learned

I've always found Flowerhorn to be a bit messier than my other fish. But I keep my tanks well filtered so... Spot cleaning and regular water changes every week to week and a half

I don't like hybrid fish (or other hybrid animals), but that last flowerhorn is really pretty, I just might have to reconsider hybrids.
I know people on both sides of the hybrid issue! It doesn't typically bother me, especially when it comes to Flowerhorn! At this point they're so ingrained in the hobby, I almost forget they're man made!
Are there any health issues or other major issues with them or other hybrid fish you've kept?
