Great effort! I agree! May be looking at little more closely at the ESV now... should have gotten a sasquatch when they were available... thanks for the comparison! USA Made Blade... exemplary costumer service, and a great asset to the knife community!
One difference of note between the two I think is the blade stop setup. With its three points of contact, the Hinderer has more lateral strength IMHO. You also get the option of using nylon or PB washers with the Hinderer. That being said I do like flipping the ESV open and prefer its blade shape.

The Hinderer also has a lock bar insert and an overtravel stop/LBS
