I've been collecting knives all my life. There will always be haters. The problem with the internet is that a single complaint becomes gospel overnight. Have you heard "My Sebenza in S**V has some microchipping." It's just unnecessary. That's why I don't watch knife reviews. Thanks Whitty for being the voice of reason.

That is a great looking knife. Perfect size.

Tactile makes excellent knives. They are killing themselves by releasing products before extensive testing as they've done on multiple models now, but ultimately they seem to get it right if you have the patience to stick with them.

had a bad monkey with a tanto blade and emerson wave, cool knife but it had some pretty bad lock fail issues. i like this one too but i'm kinda hesitant after my experiences with the other one.

idk man those amazon packages are pretty hard use... why would anyone use a folding knife for anything other than cutting? For drama engagement... Anectodotes are worthless, this fine gentleman has a bigger sample size. My advice: 1: Don't address trolls and sock accounts like they are real people... they are 13 years olds in the basement (or bad faith haters) 2: If your interlocutor has identified themselves in the comments (attention seeking behavior), stop engaging. I like Neeve's channel and he seems like a nice enough guy, but YT drama is cheap, and a poor look for his brand IMHO. With these drama cycles on YT, it is a handful of weirdos sitting in a discord chat with 5 sock puppet accounts stroking their own egos. From your terminally online internet wisperer. 🙏

There are all kinds of platforms out there. The problem is you want/need to be where the majority of the customers and potential customers are. Leaving the biggest platforms also means leaving the biggest groups of customers. If all the knife people don’t leave with you will you be better off?

What about Discord? Would that platform work? UA-cam influencer /reviewers and a maker uses it.

I love Hinderer Knives , first off i would never use a folder to batton on any wood specially a $400+ knive & anyone who is battoning on the regular or going out to the woods or what ever should have a fixed blade on him/her.That's just me though & i agree with both sides on this issue because both make good arguments.

I have to agree with you completely! I picked up an MK1 last year and picked up a Delta at Blade show this year. These are absolutely on another level. I really can't say enough about these knives or try his company. If you are in this price range, A2D needs to be on your radar!!

Interesting knives.....I can understand the enthusiasm! For me, using the Hinderers for size comparison was useful, as I own a number of Hinderers. That said $775 for the large A2D when I can get a Hinderer XM-24 hollow-ground slicer at $595 (albeit with G10 scale) has me thinking twice about taking the plunge. Great video and thanks for the introduction!

Thanks for the video and comparisons. They all look good but those large with the textured scales are especially enticing and the harpoon grind on the medium looks really good to me as well.
