I had quite a few GPS watches to track racers as they went around the track. Unfortunately we only had 3 people in my class, so I handed out the extra watches to some of the racers in the Warrior class. I did not have enough for all of them, but it is cool to look at everyone that had one go around the track on the GPS map.
I got to the race a little later than planned due to some construction and a detour, so I did not get a pre-race interviews this time, but I did get some of the racers on video after the race.
When I swapped batteries I had a couple unplanned issues. I had the wrong socket end on my drill for one, and I also took off without grabbing my clean goggles for another, so I had to turn around and get them. I also planned on getting my battery from the inside of my truck, which took some extra time. I did this because if the battery gets too cold, the power of the motorcycle can be reduced. The cutoff is 50 degrees, and it was 50 degrees outside. I kept it warm on the trip to the track, and it probably would have been ok just to set out, but I decided not to take the chance.
On the results, they had the wrong start time for everyone on the first row, so that makes our overall time close to 4 minutes too long. So basically I should have been about 10 places farther up on the overall standings. Not a huge deal, but for someone who was chasing overall points that would be a bummer. It was only row 1 they messed up. I sent them a message with my actual lap 1 time, but I'm not sure if there is much they will do about it at this point.
It was a great race and I hope you enjoy!
    6.4 mile lap
    Total Miles 25.5
    Total Time Rolling 1:29:20 = 1.4889 hours
    Average Speed Rolling 25.5 / 1.4889 = 17.1 mph
    Total Time Elapsed 1:31:48 = 1.5300 hours
    Average Speed Elapsed 25.5 / 1.5300 = 16.7 mph
My Total Time Rolling for this course last year was 16.7 mph, so I feel pretty good about having almost half a mile per hour faster speed this race than last time here. I felt like I was going pretty fast and was pushing the bike pretty hard.

You are very welcome Thomas. You were the first one to get around me after I got the holeshot. Good pass! You and Jason had quite a battle the entire race, and Jeff was right there with you guys for quite a while at the beginning of the race. That must have been a super fun race for you. Thank you for the kind words. This was the first time I have used that many GPS trackers and I think it worked out really well. I might have to bring more to the next race I attend! It is a lot of work but it makes for a really cool race video.

Thanks Ed, I had a good day despite how bad I looked at the end. Thank you for putting all the time you do into these videos. Tom #571 / 813.

Thanks Tom, I always enjoy racing with you. If I had a smoother battery change I would have dropped in with you right when you came by. That would have been really fun! Maybe next time.

10.17.23 Good jump on the start. Cool to see all the riders that were using the GPS watches 7 of them. Had some muddy water crossings, no dust. More of a higher speed course this time. With in the group of 7 the blue, red and yellow were staying close together. I see that the oh s**t meter is not incorporated still. Terrible pit stop, to many errors. Jeff Smith the red dot has pulled out a good gap within your group. Good after race reviews. Is the Stark still on schedule?

Yes, Jason and Thomas had a battle the entire race. They were only seconds apart the whole time. Pretty cool. Too bad I did not have watches on the other 2 people in the Warrior class. I may have to do that Oh s*t meter for you sometime just for grins and giggles. :-)
The Stark is still on schedule. Middle of January. I really felt like I was pushing my motorcycle more this race. I am really looking forward to the Stark Varg upgrade with the improved suspension, power and top speed. Also, they messed up our 1st lap time, having us taking almost 4 minutes longer than what we actually did, which affects the overall time adjusted results. I should have been about 10 places higher in the Overall results.

Can use more commentary on the sections. Why you pick the line you do, any section that you liked or dislike. If you can. 👍😁

I do try to talk more during the race, but I still don't do it a lot. I mentioned one of the sections during the race that I liked. It was on the right side of the MAP after a really fast field section. Just so I know, are you mostly talking about more commentary while I am racing, commentary after the race to talk over the video, or maybe just commentary in text format in the comments or description? Or all of them! LOL
Thanks a lot for the suggestion, I am always looking for a way to make the videos better. :-)

@@edfessler during the race. Like, " that section was tough, I'll try a different line next time. " I had to really torque it through that section. "Wheelspin through there is tough. "This is where the bike really excells...... Yes, heard more talking as you went on. I'm only half way through. Takes me a week to get through your video. Lol. Very enjoyable. Wish I was young enough to do it again. 👍

Cool. Thanks for the input! Yes, it does take a while to watch the entire thing. :-)
