Hi Justin. Twinmotion finally posted an update today. So from now on, people with Mac computers ca import files from SketchUp. I like it a lot. I am pretty sure you can produce results as well as Lumion,. The only thing, the library is not as extensive as Lumion. I really hope Twinmotion will adjust, and update the software with time. Thank you for tutorials.
Oh nice - I did see the update came out but didn't know what was in it - glad you got it up and running - I definitely agree - Lumion's library is much more extensive at the moment. I'm definitely going to be doing more Lumion tutorials in the future, but I'm trying to get a fairly complete library of Twinmotion videos out there for all the new users, then I'll get back to bouncing between programs a bit more. Thanks! :)
@@TheRenderingEssentials I really enjoy Twinmotion because I can run it on my iMac :) But If I had a windows computer, for sure I would go Lumion. But I will give TM a good chance. I have to say that I am pretty surprised with the results. I will have to work on it a bit more to try to get the best results a can.
Hey man, I’m new here, just subscribed and loving the videos! Just wanted to point out that lower color temperatures on lights gives more yellow light, and high color temperatures give white / blue light. The white balance setting kinda flips them! Thought I’d point it out so you don’t go out and buy 6000K lights and return them cos you wanted yellow ones haha!
Hi Justin. I have installed Twinmotion and am having fun learning it with the help of your videos. My main problem is the lag when moving around, panning and zooming in and out. Is there a video card that should be a minimum requirement for Twinmotion that you know of? Would you share what card do you use as you movements seem crisp and seamless without lag or jitter. I have a quad core i7 withwith 16mb ram and a GE Force GT-710 videos card. It came with the pc and i suspect it is nothing more than entry level. Any advice would be welcomed. Keep up the great work.!
Likely your graphics card is driving this issue - twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/article/TwinMotion-System-Requirements - both Twinmotion and Lumion have pretty hefty system requirements. You might also consider turning the quality of your editor down in your preferences to reduce lag. This will make your editor look low quality, but your actual renderings should still be fine. Thanks!
New to Twinmotion. Discovered your youtube material, thanks it has excellerated my learning process. I have an issue with shadows. Actually the lack of. I've watched EP 7 several times and no help. Any ideas?
Do you have the clouds turned on so they're blocking the sun? Or under your lighting settings inside of "nature" down below, do you have "shadow" set to a really low distance?
Justin, how do I get to show the cast sun shadow on screen! it does shows it once image is exported!!! and is there a way to sharpen image after or before get exported! it comes out somewhat blurry!!!!, thanks
Do you have depth of field turned on? This will make your image blurry. As to your shadow, I'm not really sure it should be cast based on the location of the sun...
thank you, but i got a problem with TM19 on its lighting and shadow, is there a way to darken the interior , it seams that light go inside even its close.
@@TheRenderingEssentials i have the same problem, there is no shadow in my exterior and when i zoom in through my building.. there is a big shadow follow me every where ! what is the solution plz
Let me know if you have any helpful tips for getting realistic lighting in Twinmotion in the comments below!
