For the last couple of years, sneakerheads have been raving about adidas Boost. The technology has been made a part of the Kanye West adidas Yeezy Boost shoes as well as UltraBoost and the adidas NMD which has seen collabs with BAPE, Hypebeast, and High Snobiety. If you ever wanted to know what boost is, I took a trip to the adidas campus in Florida, a sneaker collectors dream and instead of doing some sneaker shopping, found out the truth about adidas Boost.

i never had bought a branded shoe till now. i went to nike and adidas recently and tried few shoes. i was not very comforatble with the nike shoes since i have a broad feet i guess. or maybe it just didnt fit right to my feet. At adidas, i tried few shoes, cloud foam and couple of other models until i tried the pureboost. I must admit, the moment i wore the pureboost, .... thats it... i knew i had the perfect shoes ever..
I started running after many years, and man, was this comfortable.... !!.. it was the best decision even though it was out of my budget.. pureboost technology is real and it works like magic.. i never had any ankle pains after a long gap. this technology and shoe is for real... its worth buying
When I went to my friends house he got some new adidas nmd's. I tried them on and it felt amazing. I am saving up for some nmds, those things are amazing.

Great video Jacq! Boost has been the ish since it was introduced in 2013. I'm glad people are enjoying the look and feel of Boost. It's really hard to wear some of your other sneakers after you've been introduced to Boost. The Ultra Boost is my go-to shoe and by now people can clearly see that Boost changed the game!
For for a casual sneaker wearer, the benefit is that boost makes the shoe comfortable. Thanks for breaking it down!
Boost is amazing... having worn Nike since childhood, nothing they have made even comes close to the comfort that boost offers. I haven't touched a pair of Nikes or any other brand for over 2 years and now own over 100 pairs of adidas boost in all styles. adidas, you have changed my life!!! The way of the future ❤

Hands down the best running shoe ever! I've had the energy first and now the ultra. What an experience running with them.
As someone who's ran in Ultraboost (go ahead Hypebeasts I know you're gonna kill me) I can say it's not that great tbh, yes it's better than most but I prefer to run in Lunarepic Flyknits.
Daniel Silva never ran in boosts but my Flyknit lunarepics are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned
Daniel Silva tbh the I was excited when I got some uncaged ultraboost but when I put them on , my oreo lunarepic lows were more comfortable, until I took out the insole , than boost felt better
Daniel Silva ive ran in energyboost not ultraboost and i liked it personaly the midsole is a little bit firmer than an ultraboost midsole but the lunarepic flyknits blow those out of the water for running but ultraboost are still my go to comfort shoe
Daniel Silva ultra boost isn't the only running model. There's plenty of better runners from adidas that beat the ultra boost. But when it comes to comfort ultra boost definitely takes it (without insole). You also have to remember boost can be made softer lol
dominic marokin yeah but adidas touts the Ultra boost as the "best running shoe" now don't get me wrong, I love them and am an adidas fanboy but at $180 my expectations weren't met performance wise, casually I'd pick the UB any day.

@2:40 So Boost is a 1% energy savings. I knew it was all snake oil when I couldn't run faster in my Boost shoes compared to my Nikes. All shoe materials are the same, it's down to the tread pattern and airflow that really helps reduce contact patch and fatigue.

I was always a Nike supporter but with boost technology, I've gone towards Adidas now and My favorite kicks by them at the moment is definitely the Pure Boosts, I bought 5 pairs straight away. their comfortable and wider fit, so scores big for Me, their totally Boss and underrated 😈🤙. it was only by chance that I started to buy Adidas boost, cause they put Continental rubber soles on them and I got a free pair or Adidas boosts training shoes for buying 4 tyres for My car and never going to look back. well done Adidas with working with Continental tyres, great marketing.

Best shoes I've had so far are my Reebok Zprint just because of how comfortable they are, traction, and how well they've held up but I don't know how well they stack up with these if at all

if you've never worn these shoes than you are seriously missing out. i used to be an airmax fan, copped every single air max because they were just so comfortable. However this new boost material is a game changer to say the least. Its definitely going to be my shoe of choice at least until something better is created.

Marketing. The reality is shoes cost under $20 to make. So how do you make money on something like that? How do T-shirt manufacturers make money? Marketing it and telling you its rare/quality/cool. Boost will never be in 'cheap' shoes under $60, not because they cant do it, but because than Boost wont be seen as a premium product.

Rather interesting, reminds me of how they make gears by using powdered metal and having the grains grow together, they do a similar thing with the TPU pellets, i wonder why they wouldn't just injection mold it or just thermoform ready made sheets.
