Beautiful job. I like that you used the same paint as the kitchen. It appeared as though you were very near the kitchen so that made it even better. I think all in all very beautiful very great job and inexpensive is always helpful. Tom is always a great help. I'm not sure that lifting a toilet is what either of these two women should do if there is a man available. So great job in lifting and moving the toilet Tom and knowing how to do what you were doing is always a great help. It really updated that bathroom. And Gage did lots of work and doesn't seem to mind getting his hands dirty and helping out. The paint on the sink/counter area appeared to be shining, at least in spots. Very nice. And so great of all of you explaining that the paint creates quite to fog so to cover everything if anyone is to follow your work and to do this in their own home. Beautiful. Thank you for showing this.
The vanity top turned out great. I have never seen cultured marble painted before. I have been painting my kitchen cabinets. I started around Thanksgiving...lol I still have one more section to do. A lot of work but totally worth it in money saved (thousands) and love how it turned out. I used an oil-based primer since mine were oak and Valspar kitchen cabinet enamel paint. I love doing projects to refresh and update our home. Glad you are getting it done before the baby arrives. Praying for an easy delivery and a healthy baby.
It comes off super easy if you spray your wallpaper with super hot water in a spray bottle. Then rub the wallpaper, let it sit for about five minutes then peel off. Then if any backing is left saturate paper with hot water and rub it and that stuff jus comes off so super easy. Then take warm wet cloths and wipe down walls rinsing out cloth frequently. I then use tsp in warm water and wipe down walls and let dry. Ready to paint or shiplap . I wallpaper often in my house and others as well. ❤️
I love it..when Gagey says...it's weaking. What a darling little helper.😂😍 I love how your family works together...helping💗 Great job everyone! I had no idea you could paint a vanity. Turned out great! Tom, you are quite the handyman... Dianna, I really like that green color. It's so calm & soothing. Looking forward to more videos ladies.
Looks brilliant, so modern now, well done Tom (Everyone needs a Tom or in my case a Dave) so lucky to have men I our lives that can turn their hands to to most things. Gods Blessings to you all x
Perfect timing! I started pulling down old wallpaper in my bathroom , and the backing paper did not come off. Thanks for the tutorial 😀. You have inspired me to finish my bathroom makeover! 😀😀
One of my hot spots at our house is my teenage sons room. I am mid redo in there this week . I purchased some inexpensive bed frames that fit the space better, new fabric for curtains, got a couple drawers from a dresser that my mom was getting rid of connected them together and added some castors to them as under the bed storage. Then we did a huge purge of their clothing and books. It will be finished once I finish painting their dresser to better match. The whole thing cost me under $300. and even unfinished it looks 100% better.
Diana, you look beautiful! Good to see Princeton! How about filming a video together with Dawn interviewing Princeton or both on things like how minimalism has improved your life? Would love to hear his perspective! ❤️
Thanks for sharing! I love the new look of your bathroom. I wonder tho, how is your paint holding after a year or two? Are they still good, or is it worth the project to do? I am looking for some solutions for my old vanity but heard so many different opinions on paint,
Looks like the previous owners "sized" the walls before wall papering! Always a good step. We hung lots of paper in the 80's. And later tore it all off! 😊 Good team work! Looks great!
Thank you so much for talking about cabinet enamel. I'd never heard of it before and it sounds like a wonderful solution for so many "problem" bathrooms! Your sister's bathroom now looks extra lovely!
WOW!!!! That's really AWESOME! I had no idea a sink and vanity could be painted. It updated her bathroom fairly quickly for not much money. Good one, guys!
Wow, what a stunning transformation! These jobs always seem to take more time than we think they will at the start! I wish I had tried spray painting my bathroom vanity top instead of purchasing a new one, that really looks great!
Looks great! I actually spray painted one of my vanity tops several years ago with regular spray paint. It has held up well. I think im gonna try some of that paint bc it's time to refresh.
It looks great! And I really like that little helper. He will be a wonderful big brother. My husband and I just flipped a house. But it was not to sell. Our daughter lives in it now. I know she would like to give the bathrooms more of a make over. We ran out of time to get the bathroom pretty before her lease ran out. And the flooring guys took a weeks longer than planned. I guess that always happens. I will definitely show her how pretty this make over turned out. Awesome job! Leslye
Dawn, staying home/social distancing with the uncertainty of this COVID crisis, AND now my city experiencing an earthquake (which wasn't that bad... but threatens to unleash more quaking and damage... even more uncertainty of life as we know it) all are kind of frightening. Your videos are now like a little escape from the nerve-wracking uncertain days. Now I can understand a bit why movies were so popular during the great depression. Just a quick escape from life when life seems a bit dicey. I'm very grateful for your fun remodel video today! Thank you!!
That appliance epoxy spray paint is exactly what I need for the chest freezer I have in the corner of the kitchen ( next to the stove)! Very convenient. We use it all the time.
Really enjoyed this video ! Always love seeing Diana , Dawn, and Tom together . Oh and let's not forget Princeton ! Great addition to the channel ! Cant wait for Diana's baby to come !!!
I spray painted my kitchen counters and bathroom counter 4years ago, and it still looks great! My husband thought it was new granite when I first did it, it looked awesome!!
Zane Blane Ya! I started with an old melamine counter top. I cleaned it really well (used a razor blade to scrape off any grime). Then lightly sanded the whole surface by hand. Then cleaned it really well again (use a tack cloth). Then I taped off and covered *EVERYTHING* in plastic that I didn’t want painted. I wanted the counters black, so I used a plain black spray paint made to adhere to plastic. I did fine coats of that till I had perfect coverage (practice first if you aren’t experienced with spray cans- use long even strokes, a consistent distance away from the counter). (Try not to mess with the paint once it is sprayed, as you will see any fuss marks forever). Lots of dry time in between coats. Then I sprayed one coat of “multi coloured texture” spray paint which made it look like stone... HOWEVER, this left the surface feeling like sand paper. It wore down over time, and I can still see the speckles which is nice, but in hindsight I may have skipped that step. I filmed the whole process, I should really put a video together, but that won’t happen any time soon! Oh, and use cutting boards! Haha
Thanks for sharing. I was wondering if you could use it on your bathtub. Can I ask what steps you had to take? Mine definitely needs an update...presently yellow. Does it hold up well? Any sealant needed.
Looks great! I saw something in the news that made me think of you, supermarkets where I live (in the UK) said they are reducing the range of products they sell to focus on the essentials, Morrisons have reduced their bakery lines from 17 to seven. It's a kind of enforced minimalism! Best wishes to your sister for the new baby xx
This is fantastic if I could figure out how to fix my drawers I would not want to replace my bathrooms! Thanks Tom for showing me things I needed to know too.
I have that SAME wallpaper in my two and 1/2 baths! Never liked it, but it was what was on those walls when I moved in 15 years and I've never gotten around to changing it.
I used the same spray epoxy two years ago and it still looks great, I use bathroom cleaner, sometimes with bleach and it cleans up great. I have one tiny scratch.
Amazing work! Would be a good project to accomplish if you are stuck at home (like during a pandemic) and you aren’t afraid to tackle this. Love the colors.
Nice work,. Would never have thought about the spray painting. We have a similar green (a little more olive) in our bathroom with wood and black slate tiles. Well done everyone including Gauge!
the spray painting the vanity top sounds really cool and will save us a ton of $$ as we have a really long vanity top and it needs refreshing or replacing. Will definitely give it a shot, thanks!!
Wow that looks so awesome. Our small bathroom needs a lot of work. I might have to try the epoxy on my sink and small counter. Cznt wait to see the other bathrooms
About a month ago we removed 1987 wallpaper from our bedroom and master bath - wish I had seen this first because I didn't think to save a swatch for my scrapbook!! Great idea!
Oh my goodness! We put that same wallpaper up in our bedroom in 1987! I went to visit a friend and my sweet husband tried to surprise me by painting the wood trim in the room. He chose the hot pink that was in the flowers. 🤣😝It seemed to glow in the dark it was so bright! Poor honey had to repaint it a creamy white right after I got home! What a good sport!
I have the same type of sink/counter combination in my bathroom that could use an upgrade like this, but I'm renting, so unfortunately I can't do it. Yours certainly came out very well, Diana. I bet you smile every time you walk into that bathroom. 🚽🚿
I love that sink top. Where were you guys when i tried to get my friend and dad to change my vanity top last OCT and here i bought the wrong size(needed 37x19, but didnt realize I picked out 37x22) and it went down hill from there. That sink looks so nice. Great Job
So it was really gratifying watching you peel the wall paper! 😆
Gage is such a great helper. You couldn't have done it without him. What a sweetie!!
Beautiful job. I like that you used the same paint as the kitchen. It appeared as though you were very near the kitchen so that made it even better. What a great sister and brother in law! The labor is a big expense you saved. My hubby is a fix it man and saved us tons of money. Love this!
Your smiles are fabulous! I'm binge watching bathroom DIYs and y'all brightened my day!

Before and after is proof of a real transformation. The green color really looks nice and the white sink epoxy too.
Great job!
That looks fabulous! Great job everybody! So cool that you son was able to help.
I love it..when Gagey says...it's weaking. What a darling little helper.😂😍
I love how your family works together...helping💗
Great job everyone!
I had no idea you could paint a vanity. Turned out great!
Tom, you are quite the handyman...
Dianna, I really like that green color. It's so calm & soothing.
Looking forward to more videos ladies.
It looks so nice. Tom is awesome. He can do anything. Good useful information. Thanks
Your son is so cute! He's so proud of helping!
Looks brilliant, so modern now, well done Tom (Everyone needs a Tom or in my case a Dave) so lucky to have men I our lives that can turn their hands to to most things. Gods Blessings to you all x
That is beautiful. Painting the sink is a total win!
That's some Sixteen Candles wallpaper right there. Great job with the update!
Perfect timing! I started pulling down old wallpaper in my bathroom , and the backing paper did not come off. Thanks for the tutorial 😀. You have inspired me to finish my bathroom makeover! 😀😀
Wow! Looks great y'all! What a difference the old English oil made.

Just found this, and it's the most helpful and useful video I've seen about this. I'm going to try this.
So happy for Diana. Kudos to all of you.
Diana, you look beautiful! Good to see Princeton! How about filming a video together with Dawn interviewing Princeton or both on things like how minimalism has improved your life? Would love to hear his perspective! ❤️
This was a good first step for Princeton, we’ll keep working on it ☺️
Thanks for sharing! I love the new look of your bathroom. I wonder tho, how is your paint holding after a year or two? Are they still good, or is it worth the project to do? I am looking for some solutions for my old vanity but heard so many different opinions on paint,
Brilliant transformation!! Really inspiring
Kudos to Tom.....what a nice brother-in-law.....great looking bathroom!
Looks like the previous owners "sized" the walls before wall papering! Always a good step. We hung lots of paper in the 80's. And later tore it all off! 😊
Good team work! Looks great!
Looks fantastic ! Tom you are a treasure indeed - this looks way more expensive than a $90 project - I always enjoy a Dawn-Diane video
I loved the colour in her hand towel and pictures! So nice!! -Lindsay
The bathroom looks great Diana. I need a Dawn and Tom in my life. Gage is such a great helper. See you on Sunday.
Love the mirror transformation
Wow! I can't believe the results you got with painting the vanity! Nice
Wow, what a stunning transformation! These jobs always seem to take more time than we think they will at the start! I wish I had tried spray painting my bathroom vanity top instead of purchasing a new one, that really looks great!
I love the newly painted sink and the wall paint.
Looks great! I actually spray painted one of my vanity tops several years ago with regular spray paint. It has held up well. I think im gonna try some of that paint bc it's time to refresh.
I came over because "do it on a dime" said to check u out and YOU ARE AWESOME!!! Just subscribed. Can't wait to see more videos!!!!
Thank you so much and WELCOME! ❤️

I used water with liquid fabric softener. It worked well. Great job!
Girls I'm just going to say you guys got SO LUCKY with that paper! In all the times I've had to do it it NEVER came off that easy! :)
Everything looks great. Beautiful paint color. As always Tom did a great job
I can't wait to try this!! I just painted my bathroom and looked at the counter and it looks so yellow and blah---heading to Home Depot now!!
Oh my gosh! I had almost the exact same wallpaper in my room as a little girl! But that is an amazing makeover! Bravo!
Omgosh I helped my mom put this walpaper in her spare bedroom in 1999!
It turned out really pretty and functional! It was nice to see your family.
The sink transformation was amazing.
Totally worth all of it. Very nice!

This is a great home diy. Please do more like this
I spray painted my kitchen counters and bathroom counter 4years ago, and it still looks great! My husband thought it was new granite when I first did it, it looked awesome!!
Did you seal it?
Zane Blane No I didn’t
@@PurpleRust..would you mind telling me how you did it? If not, thx anyways!!
Zane Blane Ya! I started with an old melamine counter top. I cleaned it really well (used a razor blade to scrape off any grime). Then lightly sanded the whole surface by hand. @@PurpleRust ... thx so much! Yes, you should do a video at some point.. you have a lot to share!!😊
I had that same wallpaper in my childhood home! Brings back memories.
Totally legit makeover!!! Wow great job!!!
The final is really good!!!
We used it on our bath tub and its held up great! And yes it looks so clean!
Thanks for sharing. I was wondering if you could use it on your bathtub. Can I ask what steps you had to take? Mine definitely needs an update...presently yellow. Does it hold up well? Any sealant needed.
Great job!! Once again. TOM IS AMAZING!!
And Great job Tom!!

This is fantastic if I could figure out how to fix my drawers I would not want to replace my bathrooms! Thanks Tom for showing me things I needed to know too.
Great skills and great energy. What a good time to do house projects. We are building a ton of raised beds with our extra time.
Terrific makeover, especially by Hand.👍😀♥️😇
Great job ladies!!!
Looking forward to the other bathrooms!!!!
I have that SAME wallpaper in my two and 1/2 baths! Never liked it, but it was what was on those walls when I moved in 15 years and I've never gotten around to changing it.
Downy fabric softener on a sponge. Damp down paper wait 45 min and it will peel like a bad sunburn. So satisfying.
It looks amazing! Great job you guys!!
I used the same spray epoxy two years ago and it still looks great, I use bathroom cleaner, sometimes with bleach and it cleans up great. I have one tiny scratch.
Hello! How has this held up? Any peeling on the bathroom countertop?
Amazing work! Would be a good project to accomplish if you are stuck at home (like during a pandemic) and you aren’t afraid to tackle this. Love the colors.
Wow it looks amazing! Cannot believe how well that sink top turned out!!
Nice work,. Would never have thought about the spray painting. We have a similar green (a little more olive) in our bathroom with wood and black slate tiles.
Well done everyone including Gauge!
Utterly beautiful!!!! Awesome job all of you!!!
Bathroom looks great. Love the paint color!
Beautiful job! I love what you did to the bathroom! I feel inspired 😊
Bathroom looks lovely, and go Tom, the tiles are great you can't see the repair.
Can you do an update video?? Tell us how it lasted pleaseee! 😊
the spray painting the vanity top sounds really cool and will save us a ton of $$ as we have a really long vanity top and it needs refreshing or replacing. Will definitely give it a shot, thanks!!
WOW!!! Looks great!!!
The bathroom looks great and now I want to go and try that spray paint on my bathroom vanity!!
This bathroom looks so good! Job well done, guys! Y’all stay healthy.
Wow! I'm completely amazed!
So happy for you! Don't they looks so Fresh & Clean? Nice bathrooms really feel good.
Wow that looks so awesome. Our small bathroom needs a lot of work. I might have to try the epoxy on my sink and small counter. Cznt wait to see the other bathrooms
It was very relaxing watching you guys work as a team to recreate this half bath. It turned out absolutely amazing. TFS!!! ❤️👍🏽💯
I have lived in my house for 28 years and I have re done almost everything , except my vanities . I think I may give this a try .... Thank You
Thank you for this info!! I’m about to redo our guest bathroom and this has def helped me spark some ideas!
Will you do an update on how the sink is holding up with daily use and if you would do it all over again?
I would recommend painting over the vanity with Polycrylic. It’s an epoxy. The paint will eventually chip with out it
That type of paint that's for appliances already has a polycrylic base and should not chip
feewaybilz Could it work on a bathtub?
That happened to me. I will see if I can touch up the chips and add poly over. Thanks for the advice
I had the same wallpaper!!! Looks great mommas!
Love Old English! Use it a lot!!!
Love it ,& the great team work! Cuddles from Canada 🇬🇧🇨🇦🌺🌸🧘♀️
About a month ago we removed 1987 wallpaper from our bedroom and master bath - wish I had seen this first because I didn't think to save a swatch for my scrapbook!! Great idea!
Great bathroom refresh.

Looks beautiful, great job ladies and Tom.
Beautiful!! I have an ugly shell shaped sink, and I think painting it white would be a huge help until we can afford to replace it. Loved the video.
I have the same type of sink/counter combination in my bathroom that could use an upgrade like this, but I'm renting, so unfortunately I can't do it.
Yours certainly came out very well, Diana. I bet you smile every time you walk into that bathroom. 🚽🚿
Looks amazing!!!
Tom is so stinkin’ talented!!
PS I just love the way you two sisters love each other! Wish I had a sister! 🥰
Well I have one but...I don't!
I love that sink top. Where were you guys when i tried to get my friend and dad to change my vanity top last OCT and here i bought the wrong size(needed 37x19, but didnt realize I picked out 37x22) and it went down hill from there. That sink looks so nice. Great Job
