- Best bang for buck angle kit. In the end this kit costed around $100 total which is awesome for how much angle I got out of it. I can really feel the difference drifting with this kit. When I'm sliding the car it can just go more and more. Stay tuned for more videos! Subscribe!

One word sums this up HOT... Tommys lit lol.
Cheers boys. Thanks for more of ur great content. Looking at previous blogs from you guys, and to help your channel over this Covid-19 pandemic.
Stay safe boys 💜💙
The guy knows how to sagg lol
SLR adjustable lollipops (or similar) will allow you to get the wheel centered in the in your wheel well to avoid bashing in the bottom of your fenders
Really nice tutorial. I would change lollypop mount to polyurathe offset mount, which helps increase caster and make it stronger
Gedas alekveravičius thanks! I eventually want to get solid lollipop mounts and solid bushings all around for sure.
Hello
Hoon Garage,
Like the video and dig the build =). The E34 rods seem beefy which is good. Are you able to 0 out the toe if possible or are they too long? This seems like a great alternative to the E90 which you have to cut and seems kinda sketchy.
Not sure if the toe will zero out I’m running a little toe out. The e34 rods have worked great!
@@HoonGarage For sure ^__^ . I placed an order. I have Extended E36 LCAs so mine are going to be a little longer than yours so hopefully that evens things out. Since its mainly a street car I didnt want all the toe. Trying to get to 0 or close as possible.
@@HoonGarage Forgot to ask, does the 525i ball joint to the knuckle fit like an E36 would? Or did you have to do some finessing?
.:VRSociety:. It fit no issues
Do you have to cut your knuckles to run this setup?
did anything break with u after driving. like did the tierode end break because of the heavy angle??
hello its me! Nope everything is good to this day.
Heads up... This will work on the e30 as well.. But you cant cut the knuckle.. You have to make an adapter.
Hey, can you share more pics/vids of full angle?
Better get a Strut brace with all that metal missing.
Hey, i want to put 46 controls arms, and e34 tie rods. do i really need to weld knuckles ? :( because welding costs alot.... :D
You don't NEED to but you won't see significant angle improvements.
Nice vid what wheels?
BladeAddict they are Bmw wheels from an E39 that are called style 32s.
Hoon Garage looks good dude was gonna spend the money on a kit but gonna try this first.
Nice vidd bro what song?
Would this work for a e46?
I noticed you just just cut and welded. Did you zero out Ackerman?
Don't think they did
Did not mess with the Ackerman the car drives great and doesn’t bind.
How much toe out is this?
do i need camber adjustments when i fit e46 control arms?
hello its me! No camber adjustments are needed. The car naturally gains lots of negative camber with the e46 lower control arms.
You should probably take it to an alignment shop tho
hmm cant fit e34 tie rod to e36 rod because tie rod thread is different... :(
It’s the same thread type. The driver and passenger side thread direction is different though so you’ll have to pay attention to that.
If you welded the knuckles on the side you've could have Done it with the stock tie rods. I run them aswell. Just welded knuckles and e46 lc arms.
@@Ticobands stock caster. But it self stears like a dream. I didn't cut anything.
@@theslidingdutchman Hi, when you cut the knuckles you just shorten them or play with the height too ?
@@tiagojcpinhejro no not really just shortend and on the inside of the hub
any e34 5 series outer tie rods work? or what specific one did you use?
90awdtsi1 I used some from a 525i. Around $40 new
aftermarket e46 control arms or just new blue ones?
lem bordeaux I sprayed them blue because I bought my arms second hand.
Painted.. The blue adds +10° of angle..
@ Hoon Garage, wanted to ask how much to cut from knuckles before welding them back together. curios how much you guys cut, and if you think you guys could have cut more or less. What are your after thoughts? Looking to get mine welded as well, will have a buddy do them for me, anything to keep in mind?
Anas Parekh an inch was cut. You can maybe see it better in the video that there wasn’t really anything left to cut in that the knuckle loop was welded basically straight to the knuckle. But I’m really loving the kit. You can see it in action on my Instagram Hoon_Garage. It’s been super predictable while retaining a good amount of self steer.
@@HoonGarage Also did you guys mig weld this?
Anas Parekh it was mig welded yes still holding up great, just notch and prep well and try and weld on higher heat.
What diff do you have?
smamsp stock welded 2.91 I believe
Hoon Garage is it fine or would you recommend going to a 3.15 or higher? I want to weld the diff on my daily 328i but I'm not sure if the stock low ratio is good enough for it to be easy to stay sideways
smamsp it’s good to go the car stays sideways even around longer corners.
Hoon Garage thank you man!
