I was lucky enough to test this watch for the past few months. As soon as I took it out of the box, it became my daily driver. Heart rate and GPS was always spot on. AMOLED screen is beautiful in person. As always with Coros, battery life is incredible and the watch is super light. It’s honestly, the perfect watch for me, not even close.
do you recommand the pace pro more than the Apex 2 pro ?? I can't choose betwin these two.. The battery life is way more good on the apex but the screen of the pace pro looks amazing. Can you help me ??
Thanks for covering basically every type of workout! Runs, bikes, and even weight training. It’s nice to know how the heart rate sensor will work in all those environments
Nice, thanks for the review. I'm looking for a new watch and tried the Pace 3 but that was too small on my wrists, so definitely interested in this one. AMOLED display, offline maps, and great battery life is a huge win at 349
I was nearly convinced to go for a garmin 265, but now that this new pace pro has arrived, I really can't decide... looking forward for a comparison review :)
Man, that looks so good. You have the best footage of the screen at the start. I know some people say the price is a touch high, but I feel like 350 is correct.
MIP has been difficult for me with my Pace 3. A bright screen looks more sporty and sleek also. This was the the best thing Coros did. I can't wait for these features to be available on the next Apex Pro. I may not wait and just get this one.
I never had any problems with the glass on the Pace 3 but did notice that the case was a little soft, making it easily scratched. I would be pretty mad if I paid over $300 for a watch and ended up getting a huge gouge in it
@@LHNguyensOthersise there would be burn-in in under six months. Almost like it's a bad technology to use for something that's meant to be on all the time 😂
if you use separate sensor, this comment is worthless but if not, i thought coros does a better job in HR sensor for wrists but this one disappointed me. even 165 is better. in fact pace 3 is better in HR. idk software update could fix it
Still going with the standard pace, more practical and light, yeah resolution and responsiveness is not even in the same ball park, but is not like I'm gonna be playing videogames in the watch. I'm able to read the numbers and that's what I care.
With this price it’s like a 265 (on sale) and not that far from de Polar m3. I hope we can see a comparison, because one of these three might be the next purchase
They should have made the price more compelling like at $299. Cut down on stuff like 32GB internal storage... and dominated the market with lower price. At similar price to Apex $349 is $120 more than Pace 3. Price point is not amazing anymore as Pace 3 was... at $350-$450 so many other watches to choose from... Perhas offered pre-order / launch sale for $299.
@IT_Farhan I don't use MAP. You find deals on 265 for around $350.. so at same price... no brainer... Garmin smart feature of turning off watch display with covering the screen.. program / toggle at night for night mode / do not disturb... setting hidden inside... just small things on Coros was annoying. I will give both Sunto Race S and Garmin a chance... and let you know. Coros did it to themselves. as I would have never thought of watch in $350+ range if they didn't raise their price. lol
My biggest gripe with Coros (when using the Pace 3) was that when doing track workouts, the pace had a lag and would hop around compared to Garmin. Even after purchasing the foot Pod 2, it didn’t seem to help much. Curious if this is improved on the Pace Pro?
Am in the market for a new watch and considering switching from Garmin too Coros. This does look really nice but I do wonder how long it will be before they release an Apex with AMOLED 🤔

Once we get the go ahead from a Spotify or other streaming service, we'll be sure to develop this on our end immediately to help out with listening to music directly from your watch.
@@COROSGlobal I know you've mentioned it is a slow process, however this has been the same update you provided earlier this year on reddit. Is there anyway you could give a more accurate timeline?
Fantastic video I'm looking at upgrading my watch soon.. ..currently using the Garmin 955 would this be a good upgrade and is there any issue with pace lag etc?
I need your input. I have been in an Apple Watch 3 but I can’t stand the battery life. I am a casual fitness guy who runs, hikes, jump rope, lifts weights and ski’s. I am trying to decide on the best bang for my buck and overall value. Heart rate accuracy and battery life matter to me along with decent gps….. Anyway, I was able to get a Garmin fénix 7 sapphire solar for 490 bucks on sale BUT it’s still in the box… since I am also researching the Amazfit T- Rex 3 and this watch. I care more about the overall value and a watch that will serve me well for a long time. I have also considered the coros vertix 2s. I do like the look of a slightly beefed up watch even tho my wrists are smalller. Which watch do you think is the best deal and value ? Should I keep the Garmin fénix 7 sapphire solar that I got at a great deal ? Or should I return it and go for the amazefit t-rex3 or a coros? Any input is greatly appreciated and thank you so much for all the great content you put out for us all
Finally, an AMOLED! I've always admired Coros for its design and brand, while Garmin tends to be too pricey. Plus, the MIP display is definitely a dealbreaker for me.
Does Coros’ back to start feature still just use your previous plot points to guide you back? If so, it’s a no go for me. But it looks like they’re Going in the right direction.
I’ve been using my pace 2 for the past 2 years now and I’m looking to upgrade. Would this be a good choice. I really like the amoled display and I think that the pace 3 is a bit too close to the pace 2 in my opinion.
How would you compare that watch with garmin forerunner 955? i can't decide which one is better. Keep in mind i dont care about amoled dispaly, i prefer mip
Would you pick Sunto Race S or Coros Pace Pro? ALSO WHICH APP is better? -> After much research for me. Garmin 265 is what I am going to with HRM-PRo PLUS HRM. Recover info that takes into account sleep and font size control, display off with palm on screen. Music is a bonus. So all in all - Garmin does things I care about better than Coros Pace Pro & Sunto Race S
Love my Pace 3 and surprisingly I’ve gotten used to the MIP display. Amoled will likely be a great medium for those who have been looking to jump ship from Garmin but this watch just looks like a toy. That’s one downside with this one and some of their more colorful watches, the plastic used looks so toylike that it’s hard to justify the increased price point in my opinion. Also those colorful back buttons don’t help lol. Like just make it a neutral color if you want some contrast. Or make the buttons changeable.
A fleeting glance is all you need when gasping for breath during training. So, all that is needed is a screen that does not turn off, dims or anything else that requires specific motion to activate it which also lags a lot as seen on the video. Also, why would you torture yourself scrolling and reading through data on tiny screen (mip or amoled) as if we still live on early 2000? Use the phone app or your home computer/laptop...
Just used the Pace Pro today after using the Forerunner 265 for the last year and found the GPS is more accurate. It was a running activity on my normal route.
Very disappointed in the pricing. This should be at $450 cad and not $500 cad. Plus I will still need to buy a nylon strap. I thought this would be the watch I upgraded to but now I'm back to the Race S.
There are a ton of Coros athletes that have codes for a free watchband with any watch purchase which you could use to get a Nylon band. (Try JOE or SAGE)
Cool but odd product. I definitely wouldn't trade my Pace 3 for this as it's a step backwards in the most important areas (size / weight / battery life). A lot of us still prefer MIP over AMOLED too. It might be a nice alternative for the Apex crowd though as it's still really light.
uuuugh amoled and its terrible standby time... this is almost the perfect watch, it blows the Pace 3 out of the water in every aspect except standby battery life. like, I get it, it's a sports watch, features and hours of gnss are the most important thing here, I appreciate it can shrug off an ultra for me but I'm not running ultras every day! what I do every day and night is wear this thing. I want a half affordable 30-days watch! not up to 30 days if you turn everything off to the point it's an F91W with a better display, I want a 30-days watch that will track hr and steps and log in 30 hours of gnss during these 30 days. am I the only person that forgets to charge their watch but doesn't have the budget for a Vertix? lol

Amazing they prioritised a new CPU/GPU in contrast to Garmin with the Fenix 8 - lag and load times is just lazy and this UI looks smooth
